    The apartments are cool but the parking situation is not too good especially if you work a graveyard/night time shift. When you get off in the morning good luck finding a parking spot. Also after being here right at 8 months they have decided to go up on rent. There is a pandemic going on still and some people are not working or not making the hrs they were before. Why go up on the rent when the world is off balance like it is?

    After nearly a decade of living here, they just casually increased my rent by over 171%. That's worse than any of the rent increases by any apartment complex in the area with the exception of certain areas of Virginia Beach. There are equivalent apartments in Ghent that are cheaper. This section of Hampton truly isn't worth it. The new management here is a step down from the prior one so expect work orders to take forever to get done and sometimes forgotten about completely. Some of the people that they hire to do work on the buildings are shoddy at best. The people that they hired to redo the main hallway in my building did such a horrible job that the flooring looks unfinished in areas. You can see the other reviews here about the parking situation. You would think that with the high turnover rate and constant excessive vacancies that other apartment complexes around here don't have that they would give more of an incentive for longtime residents to stay but no- whoever is running the place now is not concerned about any of that. I highly recommend only looking here if you are desperate and don't mind paying anywhere from $250-$550 more than you probably should based on the information from the new rental brochures they have in the office.

    Only giving two stars because the apartments are so so, but management team needs to do much better. Not blaming anything on property manager because itā€™s a collective team. As I have lived here for 1 and 9 months I have had trouble with parking, being that I work graveyard.I Donā€™t understand what was the purpose of having decals when they arenā€™t even being checked most/all cars donā€™t even have decals on their cars! Secondly I have had my money orders lost twice! Or the account isnā€™t showing my payments processed and my first year I went up 100 bucks and pet fees increase and late fees went from 100 to 110 like gas wasnā€™t already high enough. like no one wasnā€™t going through enough with the pandemic and I refuse to use an online account that charges $36 to process your card and I canā€™t use my bank account if you only have a 5 day grace period when the banks process 2-3 business days and you still get charged a $110 late fee even though you would pay on the 4th day. Theres so much wrong with this complex the rent is high for the appliances not being up to date or so to speak ā€œstainless stealā€. I even asked is there going to be a period where they charge extra for washer and dryers that was a fail, even though on the brochure they even stated 2br 2bth has in unit washer and dryer on the walk thru plan #updateyourbrochures because I was highly considering down sizing just for that reason. I even tested out maintenance my first month and to no avail an epic fail so anything that was wrong with the place itā€™s still the samešŸ˜‘ still have some rusty bike lock stuck on my railing from previous tenants, non of the doors inside work weather donā€™t lock or donā€™t stay shut. They bombed and left the bugs at the top of the cabinets like I wouldnā€™t use that area(yes they are still there not touching no bugs I donā€™t do bugs thank god I donā€™t have any inside but those dead ones) the wall trims are poorly done they started coming off the 2 month but I can go on forever. I still currently reside here but I wouldnā€™t be surprised if the rent went up again next year hopeful Iā€™m long gone by then

    Since may of 2022 I've been getting late notices on my door from May to September of 2022.i went over to the office to show proof of me paying my rent and they took a copy of my money order receipt and still put an eviction notice on my door after I showed that I paid my rent. So having a copy of your money order receipt doesn't mean anything to them if they say you didn't pay. It is stressful frustrating and time consuming. I bet I can't get my money back for the time I had to take off work for this matter that should've been solved when I showed them a copy of my money order.I ask for the corporate phone number and no one knows it (REALLY) Now who's gonna pay me. Don't all speak at once. PLEASE KEEP YOUR RECEIPT WITH THEM EVEN THOUGH YHEY SILL WILL YAKE YOU TO COURT WIT THEM.

    Dirty, strong old cigarette odor inside and outside the units, noise from 2nd floor: sound like broken wood and cables also you can hear neighbors talking. Repairs take forever. But the worst of all is MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL steal from you if you are not on the units. Laundry spaces dosent work. Keep looking because living on Carson square is not a present experience.

    HIGHLY NOT SUGGESTED, DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH FUTURE TENANTS I HAVE BEEN WAITING OVER A MONTH FOR AN APARTMENT AND HAVENā€™T HAD NO UPDATES THEN WHEN I CALL TO GET MY $500 DEPOSIT BACK THEY CLAIM IT HAS BEEN DEPOSITED INTO MY APARTMENT MIND YOU I DO NOT HAVE ANY APARTMENT BECAUSE THEY CONTINUOUSLY SAY THEY HAVE NOTHING AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT

    Roach infested electricity goes out every other week wash and dryer is broken horrible carpentry done to the apartment office does nothing but collect rent
