For Subway it was excellent... maybe the best location I have ever visited which is surprising, to say the very least, because it is located inside the hospital. Cleanliness was noticable. The friendliness of the staff exceeded the standard in such an establishment. My advice when visiting Sentara Careplex....skip the cafeteria and hit the Subway instead.

I can't tell you how the food was because they closed down and removed everything from the trays before 9:45 even though they aren't supposed to close until 10. They even turned the OPEN light off early. Yes, there were still employees wandering around inside and leaning over the counter.

Ordered breakfast, said pickup was for 8:50. It said on the door they opened up at 8am, didn’t show up till 9am. Took them about 1 1/2 just to get the order. Not very good service.

The other day I was at this location and received excellent service!...TODAY... there was an older gentleman and a younger woman working I was looking to purchase dressing I had to buy something else I offered to buy cookies and I still wasn't able to do that or get the dressing.EXTREMELY RUDE!

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION IS TERRIBLE. THEY RUN OUT OF INGREDIENTS ALL THE TIME AND IF SOMETHING DOESNT WORK CORRECTLY THAN THEY JUST STAND THERE AND STARE AT YOU. I CALLED AHEAD TO CHECK TO SEE IF THEY ACCEPTED APPLE PAY I WAS TOLD YES ON THE PHONE AND YES WHEN I ASKED AGAIN IN THE RESTAURANT. MY SANDWICH WAS MADE AND WHEN I WENT TO PAY IT WAS NOT WORKING. THE BOY BEHIND THE REGISTER DID NOTHING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE ISSUE COULD BE BUT JUST SAID. "WELL MY APPLE PAY WORKS". I DID NOT GET MY ISSUE RESOLVED AGAIN BECAUSE THEY JUST STARE AT YOU. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION.

I am assuming it was the owner that served me. Only gave me a tiny bit of cheese shredded and charged me extra for what would be a normal amount of cheese and my other foot long I had no cheese. He told me I couldn't have any extra Olives and I said what about the Subway slogan of have it your way. He lectured me on how much Olives cost and said I could have it my way, but refused more olives. I didn't put a tip in and I will never back to this Subway again. Was so tempted to call corporate on this rude worker/owner.

There has been several occasions that I have been at this location during “operating hours” only to discover it is closed. No sign saying a reason or another schedule, just lights off doors locked. Extremely frustrating. Would be nice for this location to have updated hours or actually be open like it should be

Never open like the sign says. How did you get in the hospital to begin with? You should not be there, unless you want to serve people. You clearly don't have custom service skills correctly. I didn't get anything they were closed at 7pm.

Was delighted by the experience I had today at Subway. And I have worked in the restaurant business for many years. The sandwich I purchased today was delicious and the server was wonderful. My husband was having surgery and Dipti really helped cheer me up. No one really knows what someone is going through. So a cheerful smile and wonderful attitude helps brighten someone's day.

Dipti performs proper hand hygiene, always greets me with a smile and ready to take my order. She’s attentive to detail and makes excellent recommendations to complete my meal!

This subway is in Sentara Hampton, but the lady who works this place by herself, I might add, is genuinely good-hearted and cares about her customers the service she gives and is proud of the way she works her business people like her are a few and far between and this makes me sad that why can't more people take the pride in their own lives and work places...bravo to this subway worker !
