The soft lights and the smell of coffee being made made it feel really comfortable. I sat down, drank my coffee, and watched all the people talking about books and having fun. Now, let's talk about the coffee itself. The people who work at Kitab Cafe are really good at making coffee. They make sure that every sip tastes great. Whether you like regular coffee or something more unique, they have it all. I really enjoyed the taste and quality of their drinks. If you want to go to a place where you can have a really yummy cup of coffee, I suggest you go to Kitab Cafe in Hamtramck. Even though I didn't check out their books, I could see that everyone there really loves their coffee. It's a cool experience that you shouldn't miss.

I’ve been there 3 times since the opening, and every time I go I don’t want to leave. Such a calming place feels like a cozy second home. Everything from the sandwiches, coffee, tea, and the sweets are fresh and delicious. Feels incredible to have such a beautiful, clean, and calming Cafe and bookstore 2 minutes away. Would recommend it to literally everyone I know and don’t know.

Absolutely stunning place. Very friendly staff. Sandwiches were excellent! The range of coffee is great. It’s all made fresh to order. So that was fun to watch. Very family oriented, I loved the kids books and the whole experience. This is definitely a hidden treasure in Hamtramck!

Nicely decorated Cafe with a beautiful concept. You can read spiritual books while enjoying coffee or tea. I was actually surprised how good the Adani tea was. Nice relaxing atmosphere and great customer service!

This is a really surprising place in the middle of Hamtramck. It is a really well-appointed coffee shop nestled into a simple book store. The atmosphere is great if you want to pull out your laptop or a book. If you live nearby, this must be one of the best choices around. If you're hinting around Detoit to discover unique coffee shops, make sure Kitab is on your list.

The vibes of the cafe/library is serene. Though space is limited, I was able to find a seat. Nice selection of menu items from drinks, sweets, to sandwiches. I ordered the Holbrook and the sandwich was served hot - just the right amount and rather filling Alhamdulillah. The jalapeños and chipotle sauce added a nice kick :)

I loved this place as soon as I walked in! Everyone there is so kind, including the customers. They use La Colombe beans and even have the oat draft on tap, which is delicious. I don't know any other place in Michigan that has one! Definitely my top 5 fave coffee shops in metro Detroit.

Absolutely must visit! We drive all the way from Rochester Hills to this cafe because of how good they are. My son got the salted caramel oat milk draft last time . I usually don’t drink sweetened beverages, but I took a sip from it and fell in love. I plan on heading again there very soon!:)
