Every single thing we ordered was delicious. After a few disappointing Indian restaurants throughout Germany I would say this is the closest I've had to the Indian curries I would usually have in England. The portions were great and very well priced. The starter platter is delicious. Each curry can be tailored to your individual spice level which is great. We even had some take away mango lassis for dessert which were perfect. It was very busy and many people also were collecting takeaways. definitely book ahead.

A really fabulous little place just a stone’s throw from the main shopping area of the city. We were lucky to get a table for two without a reservation as the restaurant is obviously popular. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming and the staff attentive to the many guests. We ordered papadums and pakora for starters and chicken Madras and chicken Karahi as main courses. Everything was tasteful and was as spicy as promised. You are asked how spicy you’d like it to be. We have only good things to say about this restaurant and would love to return.

Fantastic Indian restaurant with great selection og cheap prices. You can choose how spicy you want your food which is great as everyone can get the food as they like. I will definitely come back.

Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen und eine große Auswahl an Gerichten. Als Veganer*in wird man ebenfalls fündig. Man kann vegetarische Gerichte auch in vegan bestellen, indem man die Sahne mit Kokosmilch austauscht. Den Schärfegrad kann man sich auch selbst auswählen. :) Auch die Bedienung war super nett und die Preise sehr fair. :)

Wir waren gestern dort und das Essen ist wie immer köstlich und sehr lecker. Der Service ist nett und respektvoll. Das Essen wird immer warm und frisch serviert. Es ist auch wunderschön dekoriert. Der Ort ist gemütlich und die gedämpften Lichter ziehen mich sehr an. Die Musik ist ruhig und nicht laut. Wir lieben das Essen dort 🫦

The food is fantastic and the servers are super nice. It has a cozy atmosphere and the prices are great considering the quality of the food. I can definitely recommend this place and I'll most certainly come here again.

Walked right into Vegitarian and Vegan buffet... What a surprise, it was lovely, and tast was great. Staff speaks English well and were very friendly and service minded.

Loved the butter chicken and lamb karahi. Very humble staff. We didn't have a reservation but they arranged a table for us.

Große Auswahl, tolles Essen, netter Service und eine angemessene Wartezeit. Einzig das Ambiente trifft nicht so meinen Geschmack, muss es aber auch nicht, ist ja nur temporär. Absolut zu empfehlen! :)

Very tasty food and service. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful, also they spoke English which was a great help. I had the southern curry and asked for extra spicy which it was and very tasty. My wife had the butter chicken and was very happy with it. Tasty rice comes with the food. I'll say it's very good value for money and will definitely come back.

Every time I visit southern Denmark, I make it a point to visit Himalaya. It has been my go-to restaurant for the past 6 years, and it never fails to impress! The food is absolutely phenomenal, and the flavours are unmatched. I can't resist the temptation to indulge in their delicious dishes whenever I'm in town. Not only the food is very nice and tasty (best butter chicken) but the service is nice and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and prices are convenient. Maybe the naan bread could be improved but it tasted good anyways.

Leute, das ist der Hammer!!! War mit Kids da zum Mittagstisch. Die Angebotsgerichte sind ab 7,90€. Vegetarisch, mit Hähnchen oder Rind. Ich weiß nicht mehr was ich genommen habe, aber, auf jeden Fall, war meine Soße mit Hähnchen und Spinat. Würde jedem ans Herz legen: Probiert das Gericht!!! Unglaublich, unglaublich lecker!!!

Probably the best Indian food I've had outside the UK. The service was perfect. Friendly, well timed and knowledgable. We asked for Extra Hot and it actually was extra hot. Unlike many Indian restaurants in Germany. They also offer most dishes in vegan too as everything is freshly cooked. We will be going back again very soon.

War zum zweiten Mal dort essen und wieder sehr begeistert von Geschmack des Essens und der sehr netten Bedienung. Draußen auf der Terrasse sitzt man bei warmen Wetter sehr gut.

An einem Freitagabend den letzten freien Tisch ergattert und trotz Hochbetriebs relativ rasch und sehr freundlich bedient worden. Die Speisen waren zutreffend beschrieben, geschmacklich tadellos, aromatisch… was will man mehr. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für Essen und Personal. Die Tische sind eng gestellt und bei voller Besetzung ist es laut im Raum. Wer das schlecht verträgt, sollte vorher die Auslastung checken.

Awesome place. We didn’t have a reservation but still the friendly waitress found a nice corner for us. We asked for authentic beef biryani and this is what you get. Rich, true Indian flavors in a beautiful atmosphere with friendly staff and cozy surroundings. Plenty of options for both vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters. Cleanliness is also top and the portions are really generous, my wife couldn’t finish and was offered to take the food home. First class service. Can only recommend this restaurant. Very good food. We ordered the appetiser with a selection of different items and it was very good. It also comes with different sauces which was great. We drank the Lassie, which was very tasty. Our main course was lamb, which was also cooked very well. It was spicy, so you have to make sure you select the right spicy level for you. All in all, it was one of the best meals we had in Flensburg.

The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff is welcoming, nice and helpful. The food is mediocre, definitely not the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever tasted but it is good. I had the butter chicken which was okay but a little bland. I generally wished the food was a little spicier… the drinks are fine too!

I dined in, and had a wonderful experience. Already upon entering, the beautiful scent of rich spices and herbs hit me. The food was somehow even better, very tasty, kept warm with a tea-light and very generous servings (I couldn´t finish mine and took the rest home). Other guests´ food looked delicious too, especially the meat options, which came out of the kitchen steaming & fresh. There were very good vegetarian options too, I picked the daal tadka (hope I spelled it right), which was heavenly. Fresh coriander too, and not too spicy, which leads me to the incredible staff. When ordering, they asked me how spicy I wanted it, and hit the nail on the head, asked me multiple times if everything was alright, if I needed anything else. All staff that I met that evening were very friendly and accomodating. Also, the ambiance is great. Traditional paintings, decoration, indian music all made me feel very welcome and immersed, without it seeming like a gimmick or "tourist-y", but just authentic. Would 100% recommend. The pricing was adequate, though I would have happily paid more.

As vegetarians we were overwhelmed how many different dishes we could order. The food was super delicious, the service was superb- we can only recommend and we will definitely return when in Flensburg

Aside from the great food, the owner was so sweet and conversational and took it upon herself to talk with us and get to know us. She even drove to bring us a bag we left behind after the restaurant closed. Really awesome.

Absolutely delicious, yummie mouthwatering fantastic Indian food! If you order "spicy" you'll get what you were asking for and we absolutely love it. Took the whole family there for a birthday celebration; most of them ordered "normal spicy" and they said that their meals were marvellous! 😋🌶️🍲💪💪

Me and my friends ordered four different dishes and each have unique flavour and taste just like in India which is not easy to find nearby . Highly recommended to visit this place . If you looking for good quality and authentic food , then it is 100 % worth eating here.

Beautiful food….the buffet was absolutely amazing, we have been there a couple of times but this is the first time trying the buffet; we could try things that we haven’t tried before, we are super fan of Indian food and even though we have tried many things we haven’t tried the all and in this buffet you can….the service also is fantastic, always very welcoming and the owner always has a smile on her face, even the chef came out to say hello to us because my husband loves very very spicy food and he knows so he said that the buffet is mild but he offered him spicy sauce to mix it with any meal from the buffet, definitely coming back. We ordered a table for five and we got a table in the terrace they have outside next to a little pond with fishes, I thought it was the best table….

Food is very nice , pure Indian taste. We went in big group 17 person and we are different part of India , every one likes the food, my food was Spicy. Take care spise I give one less star it was hot day and inside there was no ventilation of Fan , with spicy food and warm it was had to sit and eat :)

This is my favorite Indian restaurant. The food is always prepared fresh and you can definitely taste that. I love the Chicken Tikka Masala. The service is great and and the atmosphere is warm. They have a good lunch deal - 7€ for big dish. Also, as of recently, you can sit outside on a beautiful terrace with a waterfall.
