Honestly day ruined by people trying to rip us off all day in a supposed holy place. The boat lady said that our big tip was too little and followed us down the road hastling and trying to embarrass us. The restaurants give you an English menu which was double the price! Ask for the menus In Vietnamese, and if they say no leave as they have the normal prices on them. And the ticket offices for the cable car are open but un-manned, so after refusing to pay the operator money to run down to buy tickets, I went down to the restaurant to buy the tickets myself out of principal (be sure to buy them before you go up it's not an easy walk) . The cave at the top is stunning, but the experience unfortunately to get there was dirt. I hope they work on it and stop ripping people off as word like this travels fast. I haven't met anyone who hasn't got ripped off and left with a distasteful experience. Again, the cave is a big reward at the top, but if your looking for a nice boat ride, there are much nicer, better run places.

After the boat ride, this will be the first spot to enter before reaching the famous Perfume Pagoda. Inside the temple is an altar of Kuan Yin Bodhisattva (观音菩萨 GuanYin Pusa).

An ancient Buddhist temple in Vietnam. Elegant by itself. It is peaceful, calm and restful which you will feel it since walking in but preventing to come on Chinese or Lunar New Year which it will be crowded. The temple is well maintained and tidiness. Come to respect, enjoy and relax.

Beautiful pagoda. Even if you are not Buddhism, It would be memorable experience to take a trip there. Around 90 minutes driving from Ha Noi. Best time to travel is the season of lotus blooming ( from October to middle of November). In spring, it is overcrowded by people coming here to pray. The best experience is taking a small boat along the river

I came to this temple on my visit to the Perfume Pagoda, as part of a tour. The Perfume Pagoda was nice, but this site had more character and some really beautiful architecture, and was definitely my prefer part of the tour. There a number of temples at this part of the site, and even a nice pond towards the back. Certain parts are off limits to tourists, and only accessible to the monks, but most of it is accessible. If you're coming to see the Perfume Pagoda, make sure to check out this site as well, which is towards the bottom of the mountain before heading up to the Perfume Pagoda. It's very beautiful and worth a visit.
