👍👍 Rented a Kawasaki 2019 250cc model from this place for 2 weeks. The bikes were used to drive from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh city. We had no issues with the bikes what so ever and got to our final destination in one peace. Highly recommend the 250cc if you are doing a very long journey and the smaller one... Rented a Kawasaki 2019 250cc model from this place for 2 weeks. The bikes were used to drive from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh city. We had no issues with the bikes what so ever and got to our final destination in one peace. Highly recommend the 250cc if you are doing a very long journey and the smaller ones if you are just doing a day trip. The Motorcross bikes are great for the roads in Vietnam as it's a mix of rough terrain to highway and the cross bikes offer the flexibility to travel anywhere with its soft suspensions. If you are doing a one way trip, they charge you a $60 return shipping fee. The shop itself is small and not much should be expected of it, and depending if the bike is available at the store itself, you may have to drive to their warehouse just 5mins away. The shop keepers helped us design our 12 day route including when we should take rest days around Vietnam. Feedback to the shop: -One way shipping fee was slightly high. -We were requested to do the maintenance of the bike every 1,000km under our own cost. If we rented the bike for one week and drove it 999km, we wouldn't be paying the maintenance, so it doesn't make sense. -Minimum rental fee was 2 weeks (14days) for long drives when we requested it for 12days. It should be the same as customer requires. Never the less, we had a great experience and recommend this shop for long drive experiences.

Bought two Honda xr150s from hung, the owner. The excursions are absolutely breathtaking just make sure you are an experienced rider. Vietnam is crazy dangerous to drive in. Expect to be treated more than fair. The owner will give you a gps and his WhatsApp # should you need assistance. Northern Vietnam is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Just rode a lifan 150 cc from HCMC to Hanoi. Flamingo was absolutely amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Put a phone mount and charger on the bike. Rode almost 4000 km and had no problems. Bike was very well maintained as well. Received full amount of deposit back. If back in vietnam, I know where to go.

Great service and the scooters we rented worked perfectly. Definitely a great way to travel around Vietnam. I highly recommend the windy road that goes straight down from Nha Trang to Khe Sahn. Probably the most beautiful and calm road in the whole country. So worth it.

Great motorbike, great service. I rented the Yamaha NVX 155 which is the largest automatic they have. It was a great choise as it is much more comfortable an powerfull than the Honda 110.

Rented an XR250 for almost two weeks - i received the bike in a - of course - used but well maintained condition. I also received a bag of important spare parts, but no additional side cases for the bike. The office was helpful beforehand although they could not help me to get a vietnamese third party insurance for the bike. They did provide the necessary info from the bike, but the insurance company i went to on my own seemed to have never sent the certificate to the flamingo office. Be prepared for things like this in Vietnam : ) I followed the maintenance instructions during the trip and so the return went without a problem. If you have no clue about maintenance, take someone with you who has or make sure you have a thorough translation for the many many bike repair shops on the way to do it for you! I got compensated according to the contract without hesitation for the two days early return. I would definitely go again but do three things differently: i would take a friend, learn more Viatnamese beforehand and pick a route that would not require me to pack - unpack everyday as the ride, beautiful as it may be, does wear you out.

A friend and I each purchased a dirt bike from Flamingo as well as a 2 week excursion and they have been awesome every step of the way! Even after our trip with them finished, they’ve been happy to help us out with any issues we have with the bikes, and even stored them for us while we made a visa run. Seems like some people with unreal expectations will complain and give a bad review, but I couldn’t disagree more. Would recommend!

I can really recommend Flamingotravel as a rental company to all adventurers. I rented a 300cc bike for 3 weeks and drove it from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City once completely through Vietnam. The bike was in exemplary condition when I picked it up (new chain, new tires, new engine oil). I even received a package of spare parts for any breakdowns. During my trip, the Flamingotravel team was always available for questions. When I had a small accident with the bike the damage was settled fairly when I returned the bike, here you really notice that they are sincere people with this company. All in all 100% recommendable.

IF I COULD GIVE 0* I WOULD!!!!! Rented bikes from Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi and the bikes we were given were in terrible condition meaning 2 cogs and a new chain were required. It is incredibly dangerous and so unprofessional. Wish I had booked with a different company. They will try and squeeze every last penny out of you. The emergency contact also ignored my calls when we had issues with the bikes so was incredibly unhelpful and once again unprofessional. A small bit of plastic had come off of one of the bikes due to it being damaged when parked and they tried to scam me saying they needed to replace the whole plastic wing however the other bike we had, had scratches and dents all over it with no repairs conducted on it so I saw right through their scam. ONCE AGAIN incredibly unprofessional. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Excellent!! Excellent! Excellent! The best and only place to rent motorbikes from in Hanoi! Staff is super friendly and helpful!! The maintenance staff for the bike is excellent if you run into any issue- which we did with a long term rental but it was fixed immediately! Very impressed with this place that a friend of mine even purchased a rental bike due to the excellent condition of it! The only place I recommend in Hanoi to rent bikes! The bikes are in great condition, reliable and an excellent fair price!! The go to place for rentals! Follow @Travelingypsey on Instagram & TripAdvisor!

We rented 2 Versys300 for 9 days. Everything went smooth. Friendly staff, nice engineer. Providing chain spray for the rental period would make things easier and keep your bikes in better shape too. I doubt many people will buy it in Hanoi or even bring with them as we did.

They will cheat you by charging more based on your nationality. They will charge you 200000 - 300000 VND for a very old bike , you can easily get a good condition bike in nearby shops for 150000vnd, also advance amount they will not return completely saying bike damage or something . Don’t trust this shop

Would not recommend. I planned to ride the whole country, and was given a bike with an empty tank and a loose clutch to begin with, and no spare parts as others have mentioned. It was also not advised to be that this would not be a good long distance bike, and when I asked to switch in Hà Nội, I was quoted a lot of money for a different bike/shipping my other one back (even though they have a garage there). I also had to pay about 1 million Vietnamese dong to fix a broken clutch about halfway through and then had a dead battery by the end, by no cause of my own. I also had a really hard time organizing to pick up the bike on the day of my departure, and struggled to convince them to come take the bike back in Saigon when the battery died (where they have an office). Other rental companies cover all costs when it comes to a defective bike!

Bad bad bad.damaged bike when I picked it up.luckily I took photos and video to show damage before hiring. Upon returning bike they said I did the damage,I dispute d this and said I'd call the police, they laughed and said that the police would do I nothing, aswell as sending me photos of an undamaged bike .such liars and scammers.luckily I had video and photos so they could not argue.sleazy lowlife scum.stay away.

Great experience, good choice of bikes, not just small 125cc and excellent support throughout my trip. Make sure you go to their garage to see the huge selection if bikes are your thing, otherwise they’ll bring it to your hotel. Simple!

Mr hung has been great at communicating via WhatsApp and arranging the Honda cb150 for me to do a tour of the north. Will definitely come back and rent from flamingo again!

My wife and I did a motorcycle trip with flamingo and our guide Cong was the best. This is the 3rd trip I have done with Flamingo and they put together a wild and awesome trip. Cong kept us on less crowded roads during a holiday weekend. It was amazing

Booked and paid for a Suzuki DR650. Confirmed two days before arrival whether all was OK. After paying the balance, was driven half an hour to a workshop on the outskirts of Hanoi. Was told there the bike had problems. Another DR650 at the workshop had not been serviced according to the mechanic. The only alternative they gave was a Honda XR400 which did not fit our needs. In the following days, questions on how to solve this situation received delayed or no replies. When returning the bike at the end of the trip received a partial refund. Based on the interactions, Flamingo's goal is to minimize inconvenience to themselves rather than to do right by the customer.

We went to Cat Ba for 4 days. We had good automatic scooters. Extra GPS holder and a quality helmet available. The staff noticed my visa overstay and helped us with advice. No tricks, good rental!

👍👍 Great experience with Cat Ba Express. Journey to Cat Ba was quick and easy. We did a tour the next day and it was brilliant.
