The worst hotel in our stay in all Vietnam. We booked on booking.com but clearly they gave us a room that was not conforming to the photos. There was no window to the outdoors, it was old, mouldy and much smaller than on the description on booking. We complained and therefore they offered us a discount, which we should have not taken. To offer the 100.000 VND discount they cancelled our booking on booking.com and now we understand that this was to prevent us from reviewing this terrible hotel. So their rate on booking is superb but there is NOTHING superb about this hotel. I literally had a cockroach walking on my face and neck at night - it was the most terrible experience. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night.. it was advertised at booking.com with a 9.6 and beautiful pictures. When we arrived, we found a small, dirty room with a hard bed, dirty towels and a defect aircon.. So disappointing. When we checked out, we were ‘bought of’ with a discount of 100.000VND if we would agree that they would cancel our booking. We now realise that this means that we cannot leave a bad review on booking.com

Never Ever stay at this place!!! We've arrived at this hotel with hotel taxi. The guy at the reception told us , our room is not available, hence we will get another nicer room, if we are okay with it. And we should cancel our booking on booking.com, that way we get the room for 100.000 dong cheaper. That's the trick from the hotel, so that we can not leave bad review on booking.com. We went to the room, at first glance it was a little bit dirty, i said okay. My boyfriend was more suspicious, he checked the bed sheets, im not gonna lie, under the bed sheet was another one with blood and full of hair, and BED BUG. Bathroom stinks of urin. It was so disgusting. I have never experienced anything near that level before. I showed the guy at the reception, and we checked out immediately. Poor guy, he was quite nice, but he works at this miserable place, hope you find some where better.

We had a booking through a well known website which was, fortunately, cancellable until check-in. When we got there at 11am, we asked to see the room before check-in because we were worried after seeing the negative reviews on google. The rooms are really worn down with moldy bathrooms and look nothing like the pictures on the booking websites. Be warned as you will be disappointed if you go by the pictures online. Needless to say, we cancelled our booking and walked away. There are much better options in town for roughly the same price. We explained our issue with the room to the front desk and they were quite friendly and understanding about the fact, that we were not happy with the appearance online vs. reality.

we booked the hotel one day in advance via booking.com and they told us the next day they cancelled our reservation since we didn't reply to one of their messages. It was a general info message that confirmed our booking and with special offers like an expensive airport shuttle and daytrips. Nowhere was stated we have to reply. They wrote they gave our room to other guests and that they don't have free rooms anymore. At the same time they offered us a room in a more expensive Hotel for a "special price". As we declined, our room suddenly was free again. Sounds like a scam to me. We ended up booking a completely different hotel.

If you can avoid this hotel please do. The only good thing about it is the location. It is extremely dirty, the rooms are tiny, in the reservation it says it comes with a window but the window in fact leads to a corridor that has a window. There are bugs everywhere, the blanket is covered with yellow stains. The beds are very hard. The room is separated from the bathroom by a glass covered with some photo, so there is little privacy. We only booked it because of the high grade it received on booking, however I feel completely deceived. If you are looking for an accommodation I would recommend any other hotel or hostel before this one. The photos you see on the webpage are far from the reality of the rooms.

Very nice hotel, good communication prior to arrival. We arrived in the middle of the night (1am) and they were waiting for us, all lights in the lobby were open which made us feel in a safe place. The room was clean, big enough, A/C was working very well which is very important to us. Walkable distance from many attractions in Hanoi and helpful to help you plan anything you want to do.

Disastrous experience. The hotel is extremely cheap, unhygienic, and worthless. Staff is even more horrible and rude. They threatened us when we chose to check out and change the hotel. The rooms are so small so much so that in your sleep if you happen to flip the other side of the bed, you may end up waking up the next day in the commode. The rooms on the top / 8th floor has a ceiling height which is quite short. So you may have to bend your knees or crawl within the room. The entire hotel and the staff is stinky.

Awful! Please avoid! It's a scam of hotel - nothing like shown in Booking. Old and requires decent repair. Unmanaged. Never been clean. I have complained and three cleaning women came in, to change towels. They have no cleaning habits, it's disgusting what you come to. 🤢 I wish none to experience this unpleasant.

At the margin of the Old quarter. So handy for moving around the center of Hanoi. The hotel is small an in bad condition the photo you see online are all deceptive. The rooms are no well cleaned. The bed and toilet are usable. The service is good but we had to call them more than once for the AC

Hotel liegt gut. Zimmer war dreckig, besonders das Bad. Personal schmierig. Wir hatten vorab vereinbart, dass wir early check- in machen wollten. Als wir ankamen, sollten wir dann doch eine Stunde in der Lobby warten. Nach zehn Minuten sitzen, war das Zimmer dann doch verfügbar. Alles in allem keine gute Erfahrung hier. Fotos der Zimmer müssen lange her sein, da sie stark runtergewirtschaftet sind.

Despite the great location, free bike parking and spotless, good value rooms I can't rate this hotel higher. A disastrous WiFi connection is a definite deal breaker in a big city hotel in 2020, but even worse is dishonest service. They wrote that coffee, tea and Alaska water (350ml bottles) are free of charge. However, there was no coffee, tea or 350 ml Alaska water in the room. There was, however, 450ml Alaska in the room, for which we got charged at the end of our stay. Upon my questioning this rather deceptive action, the receptionist was disarmingly honest about it, saying that because the rooms are so cheap, they do it this way. As a matter of fact, the rooms are good value, but not extraordinarily cheap, I paid less in two other similar hotels in the Old Quarter the previous couple of weeks, and while both of them reduced their services due to the Covid19 situation as well, at least they were clear about it upfront.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The staff is really friendly and also gave us a great overview on what to do in the area. Also we liked the breakfast buffet. The rooms where really modern and tidy and had a nice (high) shower. The only small downside is that we did hear some street noise in the morning and evening.

Nothing like the photos. Really disappointed with the hotel! Staff are nice but one of the 3 beds in our room is a camping pull- out bed, not a real bed. There is no kettle and the walls and sheets are dirty. We booked a room with a window but the window looks out onto the hall with other rooms, so you need the curtains closed at all times. Disappointing.

Room was very bad for 40 dollar a night. Bathroom had lots of mold, even in the towels. During check out they scammed us out of leaving a booking.com review by cancelling the booking. Hence this review in Google.

The real accommodation is too much different from the pics, the floor is dirty and also the bathroom has cockroach WHICH IS DISGUSTING. The sink in bathroom a bit stuck while running water out. The ceiling is low and dirty which creates the atmosphere so dark. The staffs DO NOT show their friendly and supportive attitude. The blanket was quite dirty so I asked them to change. They didn't have any so they gave me just another cover of blanket. SUPER DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTED

Terrible. The hotel has a different name, it is located in a dark alley which feels unsafe. The room was very dirty (looks nothing like the pictures) and there were multiple cockroaches. They try to scam you when you arrive by claiming you did not confirm your reservation (even though you received the confirmation from booking). Do not book this hotel.

We stayed this hotel for three nights from 28 Dec to 30 and had a terrible experience with the room and service. We also booked Royal Cruise in Halong Bay via this hotel at cost of 135 USD /pax. Original plan is to stay in this hotel one night, go to Halong Bay for one night in the cruise and come back for another one night in Hanoi prime hotel. Unfortunately, Royal Cruise was cancelled due to weather conditions. So, the tour company called us and offer two options whether we go day tour or return to Hanoi. We choose the day tour at 60 USD/ pax and the rest amount to be refunded which is the 150 USD for two persons via this hotel. We know this is budget hotel but the room should be clean although we can't complain for the room size. The first room we stayed can't lock from inside. Then we changed the room another day but the blankets in both room are not clean and we can see it apparently. The location is far from old quarter and not in the tourism spot. They charge the exchange rate at 25000 VND while the actual rate is 24700 VND/USD. Because we paid in VND. So, they earn more. I ask where to buy SIM card and they said that they help to buy. But later I found out that they charge more than actual price. The worst thing is about the refund process which they supposed to refund once they cancel the cruise but it took two days saying they have not enough cash. We repeatedly ask for it but the way their response is unacceptable. They took so long and finally they refund just 10:30 pm the day before we checked out. NEVER AGAIN.

Really bad services ever.. this hotel room is not same as the picture shown.please don't get fooled by the pictures guy!! Very small room and their air cond is really bad. When we ask to refund they said contact manager.. we tried call so many times but he didn't answer the call. We wait for long but it's really useless..we can't get fully refund but only half from the price.. not satisfied at all!!!!! We book through Agoda app, they already request cancellation to the hotel supplier but they didn't approve it. Really bad

Great staff, and amazing location. I highly recommend as the area you're in is special. The hosts here will take care of you and you get a great free breakfast. Rooms are very clean and spotless. If you need anything you can ask the front desk and they will do everything they can to take care of your needs to make your stay amazing.

Pathetic hotel. Unhygienic rooms. These guys are fraud. Plus the name of the hotel is also different. Thankfully we did not pay in advance. The rooms were very dirty and . We had booked 4 rooms, out of which one rooms lock was not working, the other room had ants roaming around everywhere, third rooms AC was not working and fourth rooms ceiling was very low and all the rooms floors were sticky. They did not clean the room before check in. We had booked the rooms for 2 nights. We went to hotel and saw the rooms and obviously we did not stay there. After a long argument with the owner, he agreed to cancel our booking for free. But when we returned back to India, we noticed that they had charged us for one night. We contacted the hotel as well, but they did not give us our money back. They are frauds. The staff is very rude. He was forcing us to stay at the hotel. Please do not stay in this hotel.

Very friendly staff and great service! Our room was quiet and clean. Towels were changed on a daily basis. We also bought our SIM-cards there and they work perfectly (9GB for a month for around 9 Euro). If you are travelling on a medium-range budget in Hanoi and doesn't want to pay more than 20 Euro/night, it should be your first choice! Greetings from Filip and Mateja, you guys are the best :)

The rooms needed a renovations and taking care off. The dust in our room not cleaned properly, and inside the shower there is black spots on the walls that need to be clean. We got just 2 old and torn towels for use. It is 3 star hotel by booking, but I personally think that the rank need to be downgraded or not rated at all. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

Not the best experience! We were excited to stay here as we were impressed by the ratings and pictures online. When we arrived they said “we have upgraded you to a better room”. We assumed it was in the same location or at the very least at the same quality or nicer hotel but we ended up being moved to a rundown, dodgy, older hotel in an alley way which had much lower ratings on google (3.9). We felt cheated and when we said we would rather stay with our original booking they said they had no rooms left. All this happened within an hour so we suspect they had actually over booked and the offer upgrade was dishonest. I wouldn’t agree to accepting an upgrade. In hindsight we should have asked to see pictures of the upgraded rooms before accepting. One star for refunding us our room costs in full (after all that) and organising the street food tour.

(Booking through Agoda) But when I came, the hotel said there were some sort of technical issues inside the room, and requested me to cancel the booking right on the date of guest acceptance even though I’ve paid the money in full amount via Agoda. How could a service provider be such irresponsible?

This is the best place to stay in Hanoi. Reasons why... 1). Friendly and nice staff. 2). Well located. 3). Delicious meals. 4). High quality rooms. 5). Reasonable price. 6). Cleaning the rooms everyday. 7). Arranging your trip tours by them. No anymore.. Only Prime Center Hotel.

The place is kossy, clean room with hot shower, it is a family-owned business, very friendly English-speaking staffs. The place is located in the Old Quarter area where tourist-oriented shops, restuarants and streetfoods are concentrated. Also a walk-awa from the famous night market where bargains start at 6pm. Linh, Long and Tom, who alternately managed the front office, arranged all our destinations and monitored our trips. The hotel is not as flashy as the expsensive 5-star hotels but due to the warm receptions we received from the staffs, I'm giving the place a 5-star rating.

I only got to experience this place for a few hours but the time I was there I felt very welcome and safe. The room was very clean and modern and only 10 minutes walk from local shops and restaurants. I was so touched how the staff go out their way to help you. Thank you all staff members, I'm truly grateful for your help. Will be staying here next time I'm in Hanoi!!

A great stay for our first stop in Vietnam. Room was clean and tidy enough from what we were expecting for a reasonably priced hotel. Far enough away from the mega busy streets not to have a big issue with noise but close enough to walk quickly into it all. No complaints.

We loved our time here! The room was clean, comfortable and modern. The breakfast is very good and the staff is always ready to help you and satisfy your requests. The location is perfect if you want to have an understanding of the culture and you want to live close to the locals. Definitely recommend it :)

Brilliant hotel - staff were friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We arrived at 4am (we misjudged our night bus timings) and had to buzz in at that time, waking up the staff member at the desk. They couldn't offer us a room, but invited us in, stored our bags and allowed us somewhere to rest. When we did get into our room it was clean and spacious (also, had plenty of windows, which is not always guaranteed in Vietnam!). Decent location, decent price, and most importantly the staff were helpful and courteous.

Very helpful hotel staff and very cheap prices. The room was huge and way better than expected. They accomodated me at a different hotel the first night due to renovation of the room but they took care of my luggage while I was on a day trip. It's located very close to everything, but the area is a bit rundown.

Dont trust the pictures shown on the website. The room was actually in the worst condition, with a stained bed, gross slippers. This place should not cost more than 400000 dong. However the staffs were very friendly.
