It is a really clean, nice, and beautiful place. The staff are nice and polite. It is perfect to host a birthday party or have any type of event or celebrations. The food was great. There were lots of selections. We were at the other side where they mostly serve authentic Vietnamese food. (There are two places, or restaurants, where one is mostly serves authentic Vietnamese and the other one is mostly global, where there are lots more different food and more choices in each than at the other side. Of course you have to pay separate for each side because it’s like they’re like different “restaurants” in the restaurant.) At the side that we were in where they serve mostly authentic Vietnamese food, also had some food that the other side had, but not as much of a selection then there. I eat on both sides and personally, I think that the more global is better, because there are lots and lots and lots more food and variety of food choices where you can choose from and not just basically Vietnamese food. Overall I really do love this place and both sides, I definitely recommend both of them and it was great coming back, so if I have more time (and space in my stomach) then I would definitely come back because it’s such a great place to go to.

This is a great place to bring a group to celebrate a special occasion but that’s the only time I’d make a point of visiting. Nonetheless, the sumptuous garden environment and vast array of beautifully presented buffet options (many of which were quite tasty) made for the perfect New Year celebration setting. Definitely recommended. Be sure to visit on an empty stomach!

I think it is the best Buffe place in Hanoi, with nearly 200 dishes of variuos foods. Impressive decoration and view from Ho Tay lake. A bit crouded and noisy...no like.

One of the best buffets in Hanoi. It costs 400,000 dong per person at international typed buffet at Friday evening. Around at 9 o'clock in the evening, the food is cleaned up and finished. So I recommend you to go earlier and eat a lot as you want. Overall ok.

Positives - Large selections of food for the 410k price - Beautiful location next to the lake - Clean and beautiful seating area Negatives - “Artificial” wait time to create lines for hype (I’ll explain below) - There are some tasty food but a lot of bland food too - Some dishes did not taste fresh 2 friends and I arrived at 11:05AM on a Saturday, they open at 11 so there was not a large amount of people. We were told to wait because they are setting up the tables. After 15 mins we were brought to another area where we handed in the ticket given to us. Then we were told to wait again because they were setting up the tables. We waited 15 mins more by then there was around 40 people in the waiting area. We were then led to another building were we could see many empty tables but they didn’t let everyone waiting in. This makes me feel like they wanted there to be a line of people to make the restaurant more busy then it is. I could be wrong but the reason they gave us for making us wait 30 mins was not valid. Otherwise the meal was great, there is a lot of choice of food for the price you pay. I tasted a lot of the meat and it was great but the seafood and sashimi was pretty bland. I did have some prawns that tasted off and some watermelon that tasted like it’s been out for too long. Over all besides the long wait time for unknown reasons I had a good enough experience to come back and try it again in the future. Edit: came back in the evening after pre booking. I was given a table immediately. The last time I was here I was in the International area and this time I was in the Hanoi area. The Hanoi area was a much better experience compared to the International area. Even though I was told the buffet is the same, I felt like the food was replaced much faster and there was more portions so even though there was a lot of people I didn’t have to wait for the more popular dishes. I recommend booking area of time before coming.

(Translated by Google) Around Sword Lake, the streets are covered with green trees with a fresh and soothing color. In the morning, looking at the pedestrians in a state of joy, fun, fresh air, the lake of love and romance is ancient and romantic. Anyway, day and night on the sacred land of proud Hanoians, just take a moment to walk to the old town, relax and enjoy the food, feel the traditional culinary culture, always kept until now The wide and spacious pedestrian street looms under the trees, along with the ancient villas built from the French period, the historical relics of the temples that have passed through the ages are witnessing the changing lives. of Hanoians (Original) Quanh hồ gươm ,những con phố được cây xanh bao phủ một mầu tươi mát êm dịu .Sáng ra nhìn dòng người đi bộ trong trạng thái hân hoan ,vui vẻ ,không khí trong lành ,hồ gươm yêu thương lãng mạn cổ kính biết chừng nào ,ngày đêm trên mảnh đất linh thiêng người Hà Nội tự hào ,cứ rảnh rỗi một chút ra phố cổ đi bộ ,thư giãn và thưởng thức những món ăn cảm nhận nét văn hóa ẩm thực mang tính truyền thống , luôn được gìn giữ cho đến bây giờ Phố đi bộ rộng rãi ,thênh thang thấp thoáng ẩn hiện dưới hàng cây cùng những ngôi biệt thự cổ được xây dựng từ thời pháp ,những di tích lịch sử đình đền đã trải qua nhiều thời đại đang chứng kiến cuộc sống thay da đổi thịt của người Hà NỘi

Hồ Gươm Walking Street is one of the weekend destinations enjoyed not only by Hanoi residents but also by foreign tourists. The pedestrian area is opened in three nights at the weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), from 7:00pm to 12:00pm in summer and from 6:00pm to 12:00pm in winter. Walking Street has become the place where many interesting and engaging community activities and events happen which greatly benefit the society as a whole. Not only bringing exciting experiences, traditional folk games like Tug-of-war, Mandarin squares capturing, Bamboo dancing, Bamboo jacks,…also serve as building bridges to connect people, helping us revisit our carefree childhood and forget all about the hustle and bustle of everyday life

Order two dishes, one is mixed fried egg and grilled pork other is mixed grilled chopped pork and grilled pork. Those two are so huge so that a normal person such as woman cannot have all of it. It tasted so delicious and juicy. Plus a good serving.

Despite the hefty price tag (145k dong for the special), the amount of food was even too much for a big eater like myself. While the Chinese style sausage, shredded pork and egg foo yoong were delicious, I found the HUMONGOUS pork chop not lacking in flavor but very dry. I guess I'm bias because I'm used to more fatty cuts when eating com tam back in the USA. Overall, this place is a must try as it's an institution with prompt and professional service.

Often come here with family, friends. Normal lunch lasts 3 hours ( 11:00-14:00). Dinner lasts bit longer (18:00-21:20). One of the first, the best, the finest authentic Vietnamese buffet restaurants locally. Prior booking's required. App. $ AU 25/ each adult ( excl.drinks) to eat in international buffet building. Unlimited food, desserts whatever some 200++ QUALITY dishes in menu 😋 NOISY: yes, & most popular buffet restaurants will be noisy. STAFF: very helpful, polite. I will score them higher than 10/10 if I can. P/S: The only negative point is their Rest Room. I would prefer not to think about it.

This is a very nice place, considering it's a buffet place. The food variety is amazing and gives one a chance to taste different styles of preperation and flavors of the country. Of course, it is a bit pricier than the usual Hanoi street food place, but the quality and variety of entrees as well as desserts make up for it. I advise to make a reservation ahead of time to ensure little to no wait. Most of the staff doesn't speak English, which really doesn't pose a problem since pointing and using familiar brand names for the drink order is the most interaction one has with the staff.

Good variety of foods served in buffet style in a grand hall, covering a good variety of ground meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits and desserts. Dishes were generally well flavoured with the exception of some beef dishes which were a little on the stiffer side. Outside the dining hall is a pond and plaza where one may take themed photos. Bit crowded but generally good value (particularly if you're a tourist).

It is an amazing place, I have never experienced something like this in my life. So much food, so much variety, so tasty and so many different styles. I would recommend everyone who goes to Hà Noi to pay a visit to this place. It is clean, always enough waiters to serve you or to clean the table. If I were to go again - I would hit the ice-cream buffet and the Japanese buffet. P.S.: water is offered for free.

It's a huge restaurant. Plenty of food with variety of choices. However, it can not be considered as a high class one as too many diners and the route to access food is a chaos. Diners talks and eat while access food. It is concerned for sanitary because of the overwhelm crowd.

Portions were huge, took the advice from previous reviews to just share one plate between two people and order an extra serving of rice. I felt like it was pretty pricey at around $150k but it was still an overall tasty experience. It was delicious.. but I’ve tasted better.

Great place to eat with friends or family members. But do beware of the rowdy and "hungry" diners. They will push or shove you away and just clear the whole plates within minutes (lolz). So do visit early to avoid this type of diners, if not you will have no mood to eat. Also, do follow the culture, hold on to the tongs and wait for the replenishment(the pic I took at some diners) . Lol lol lol....

Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street surrounds the Hoan Kiem lake with a wonderful view of the big lake. In the middle of the lake there is an old turtle tower which is known as Thap Rua, a calm and quite and majestic structure from ancient times whereas the street encircling it is lively and modern. The street is full of cafes offering traditional Vietnamese food as well as cosmopolitan modern cafes and bars. The street is full of pedestrians from different nationalities and kids playing all around. When I visited the street, there was a street performance going on where there was music and activities probably due to encourage the local football team.

An iconic walk in Hanoi that everyone should experience. The lake itself is stunning and is home to other famous Hanoi landmarks, along with a wide array of food and shopping options. It's easy to only walk part of the loop and explore little side streets or stop for coffee, like at the note cafe. This loop should be experienced both at night and during the day. Doable for any fitness level and easy to bring strollers or wheelchairs.

In the old quarter Hanoi... With "french" looking building n a big "pond"... Lot of "activity" (line dancing/ ball kicking etc) n "action" on the closed walking streets... Some street have Pasar Malam stores, n as usual selling all homogenous products... But lot of "interesting" cafes/ shops to look around... Highly recommended to stay here for a more convenient times (just downstairs will be foods stores/ cafes/ restaurant/ mini marts etc etc)...

Street music is always an art that attracts viewers. In this Hanoi, there is rarely anything that makes people feel close and adventurous like seeing an orchestra playing as improvised and emotional as on the pedestrian street. Everyone around them seemed to want to "swallow" every note. People swaying, people singing along, people dancing, people swinging with their eyes closed… to each tune. In the pedestrian street now you can easily mingle with music at many street corners, unlike before, if you want to listen to street music, you have to wait until evening in Ta Hien, Luong Ngoc Quyen, Dao Duy Tu... .

Great lunch buffet spread. All sorts of food, you name it, Western, Asian and the local dishes. But I didn't like the idea of standing in the long queue. Waiting for those in front who took their own sweet time to move. And with many tour groups dining simultaneously at this peak lunch time, getting up to refill my plate was the other I didn't enjoy. Really a mess!

It's a beautiful place to visit, especially during sunrise and sunset. There is a park around the lake where you can sit and relax. One can take the bridge and visit the temple, ticket cost is 45000 Vietnamese Dong (as of Nov 2022) and there is a temple with some old preservings of turtles. Very quiet and peaceful.

Very traditional place with lots of history and meaning. There are photographers that will take professional pictures. We hired one guy and he did an amazing job and printed the pictures of our family on quality laminated paper for easy transport back to Canada. It's especially beautiful at night with all the lights on. We got a ride from one of those guys (Xích lô) who pedals you around. That was fun too. Bring light clothing, because it's crazy hot there.

Sen's quality has really gone down, ingredients are lower quality than before and not so fresh. It can get very crowded, but that is expected of most buffets here. Prices are around 400k per person without drinks. Staff is super friendly and attentive.

This is a nice place to have buffet in Hanoi, probably the best. Food variety is big, just not too much but will satisfy your appetite. There are BBQ/grill, seafood, Vietnamese food, Western food and also regular dishes (such as fried rice, glass noodles, spaghetti, vegetable, etc.). Drinks are not included in the entrance tickets but separatedly billed. Sometimes you have to rush the staff for some dishes such as the buttered grilled oysters. Anyway, it's a nice experience here. If you have friends visiting Hanoi and want buffet, bring them here. Also, everyday is a happy birthday! (Come here and you'll see what I meant) 😄

Spacious space, varied menu, great taste. Drink prices are not included. Employees check customers frequently, so there is no inconvenience. I recommend that you make a reservation in advance as waiting times may occur.

Not really my thing. I enjoyed a work do here. Lots of choices and some pretty tasty food but it’s simply put a massive buffet with lots of people to navigate. Not to encourage smoking, but if you want to you can open a door to the left of the ladies loo. It takes you out on to a small ledge where you can have a smoke. The guy in the door pointed this out to me. I think it’s worth a visit and you can join in with the birthday songs that you will hear all evening.

You have to like crowds and bustle to really enjoy this place, but I love it! Wide choice of food and never ending buffet means you can try all sorts of things from snails to baked oyster to sushi and pasta!

Walking around Hoan Kiem is a must do cultural experience in Hanoi.

👍👍 It's such a great and wonderful Pizza 🍕 😋 I ever have. I can't explain how wonderful it is. Also Spaghetti 🍝 😋 was so good. They cooked 80% for the spaghetti. For half chicken teriyaki and half 4 cheeses, is such a very good smell from the charcoal stove. It's very harmonized tasted in one full...

👍👍 Probably one of our most memorable meals was at this amazing restaurant in Hanoi. The service was excellent and so was the food. We loved the flavours and the cocktails were on point. The minimalist decor was really nice and spacious. We ended up ordering a lot of food and drinks as we were famished...
