I looked around my table just like I watched Korean movies in Netflix. Pack with Korean people. Many different way to cook the meat. Fun vibe fast friendly services. Price so decent and top notch quality meat and exceptional flavors. So hard to find Korean BBQ restaurants like this. Makgeolli (milky rice wine) with meat best in the world.

This restaurant has been around for about 30 years. I remember coming here when I was in middle school and that was a long time ago. That alone shows how good this restaurant is. The servers and owner are friendly and the food is excellent. A good place for good Korean food.

I have never written a review on a restaurant in my life but I had such a negative experience here that I just needed to share. I've never eaten KBBQ in my life and I was very excited to celebrate my birthday by going out with my family and having an interactive dining experience. Unfortunately, the staff robbed us of this. Throughout my entire dinner we were never left alone to chat for more than 3 minutes because one of the many staff members would come by and flip our meat for us repeatedly and add more on. It felt like they were rushing to get us out of there even though we made reservations a day before. If I wanted someone to cook something for me I'd go to a regular restaurant and probably end up paying much less. Instead, the whole fun experience of going out for KBBQ was taken from us and in turn I ended up having a very stressful dinner that was cut way too short because of their eagerness to get us to leave. This is the only gripe I have with my food-related experience. Another thing I'm hesitant even now to add is the fact that one of the waitresses took my phone off the table while I went to the bathroom when I first arrived and brought it behind her counter. I was extremely confused and had to ask for it back, to which she obliged but didn't apologize. I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt and say that this was a mistake but I still think it's worth sharing. EDIT: I'm now looking at other negative reviews and it appears that them stealing belongings left unattended is common and not just something I experienced. I won't be coming back and I was robbed of the Korean BBQ experience I paid for.

Today was our 2nd time there, and omg we loved it, the food 10/10 Service 10/10, place 10/10. Definitely going back again. I love how they make sure you having a great time always checking on us to make sure we had what we need. Thank you so much for everything

This place in fantastic! Food is great, seafood pancake it my favorite. We went a a friday night and it was packed, but the servers were quick to clean up and get the table ready as soon as a party left. I would suggest making a reservation if going on the weekend or if you have a party more then 4.

I really like the Chap Chae(transparent noodles with green onions and beef) and seafood pancakes (seafood pajun) here. However, the quality of the dishes are sometimes not too consistent here. But overall still pretty good. They are my kind of comfort food. Also their tofu soup has bigger portions than other Korean places. Their barbecue is really good too, but a little more on the pricy side.

This place is awesome! The food is amazingly delicious. The meat is seasoned perfectly, all the side dishes were great and compliments the meal perfectly. The service is by far some of the most hospitable I've ever seen at a restaurant. The owner was kind and attentive.

Our favorite Korean restaurant! Food is delicious, portion sizes are large and price is reasonable. The wait staff are on top of things and very attentive. Sometimes it is hard to get in especially if going at peak times. We tend to go early to ensure we can get in.

Great food! I me and my friend had never had Korean bbq before and had no idea what to expect and i can say it was a wonderful experience. We struggled a bit on what to do at first however the staff were really helpful with showing us and explaining what was going on. Combo meal filled up our whole table at a great price and allowed us to try a bit of everything, and it was all delicious. All in all I can say I will be coming back here. Again thank you to the staff for a great experience.

No customer service. They trow to me plates and I was waiting my soup 15 minutes more. Also, they did not explain anything about cook. We was so excited to check out this restaurant.This is my first time ever leaving a review EVER. I felt necessary as it was a extremely disappointing experience for my friends and me. We will not be returning.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. BAD SERVICE AND WAITRESS ARE RUDE. I went there with my family around 7 pm on Friday. After 15 min, no one came by to give us menu. And after that she told me to move another table. After another 30 min, still no watress come to our table. Whenever I press bell waitress just shout at counter table, she will be there. 8 pm finally we got our foods but my daughter has to wait another 10 min to get hers. Again Bad service all around. Do not go here.

Always such an enjoyable and Delicious experience that has been a favorite go to spot for My mom and my sister! The owner is so kind and always welcoming and greeting his customers with a smile. Place has some of the best Korean barbecue/food in the area. The restaurant can be very crowded and cramped but something that can easily be overlooked once you've had their food. I always say "the busier the restaurant the better the food😉 A little piece of advice...make a reservation before you come.

My favorite home made feeling restaurant. My family and I come here often. The old man here is like a mascot with his sweetness and wisdom like personality. Really love this place. The hot tea hits the spot. Meat is always fresh. And I love all their mini side dishes. Definitely feels like home cooking with great service too. It's usually always packed, and for good reason. ^_^ 10x Stars!!!!

Great place for some korean food in the suburbs! I've been here a few times and really enjoy it! Most of the food I've tried has been delicious and feels authentic. The kbbq here is pretty good, you grill it yourself and they'll give you lettuce and some sauce to make wraps if you want. Not the best I've had but still pretty good and price is fair. The soon tofu is a bit thin in my opinion and came bland one time out of 3 but they were nice about fixing it. I like their Chap Chae and seafood pancake albeit a but pricey. But portions are all large and filling. The decor is new, nice and clean, and they even have call buttons so service won't bother you which I really like! Overall a good experience and place for some Korean!

Have visited this location twice. Food is delicious; you can't go wrong with whatever meat you select. Owners are attentive as they made sure we had enough sides-which is great in that regard. However, my only complaint is the owners tend to be a tad "too helpful" as they often came over to cook our food for us. They constanty reached in front of my friend and even cut already cooked food off my fiances plate using the scissors we had used to cut the raw meat earlier. They make you feel rushed and took away the experience of us cooking our own food. I'd understand if it was our first time but we have been to plenty of other Korean BBQ places before. I'd just appreciate if they asked if we needed help instead of assuming we do. Otherwise it's a great place.

Today was me and my mother's first time here and trying Korean BBQ. Our server (I am so sorry I did not catch her name) helped us get started with the grill. The food was amazing and flavorful! The staff were also all very attentive and kind and helped out and always checked in on us. Overall very enjoyable experience and we will be back very soon!!!!

Want a quiet sit down at a white linen restaurant? This is your spot. So unhurried, you could negotiate a peace accord. Fish is something that you cannot miss, there are often delicious specials. Steaks and chicken are just as good. There is also Greek inspired items, so be sure to ask about them, especially if you are a vegetarian.

The food was delicious and the employees and workers had great service they came to check up on you and see if you were okay! The experience was amazing . I loved the fried dumplings! I went there with a very empty stomach and came back with a full one. It was my first time trying it and I wanna go back again of how delicious the food was. Just make sure that if you ever go bring your vaccine card or have a picture of it.

We are regular customers with this place. Everytime when we crave korean food or bbq Koreana would be the go to. But this time they really disappointed us. We got take out 2 soups ( kalbitang and tofu soup). Both soups were clear watery. No taste, no salt no nothing. Barely thrown 2, 3 pieces of meat in there. Especially tofu soup has to be rich flavored but this time was so much oil floating on top and watery. Very few side dishes and not fresh at all. We still pay the same price for take out but the food they sent is not same as dine in. Just wasted $40. Need to deliver same quality both dine in or take out.

My family and I have been here 4 times this month. Every single item we ordered was amazing! They were generous with the Banchan(side dishes) and service is great. I can confidently crown them the best Korean place in Illinois.

The food is wonderful, the wait staff are all SO friendly and sweet, and the atmosphere is very cozy. The yukgaejang is the best I've ever had! We live two hours away, but my boyfriend and I will return again soon. I used to come here when I was a little girl, so it was a perfect experience returning. Thank you!

Fist time at a cook your own food Korean restaurant. The food was amazing. The owner came out and chatted with us. It had an incredible family atmosphere. The waitstaff were so helpful and fun to talk to. Overall a great experience. Make reservations for the busier times.

Koreana is really good for their bbq . But even if you go and try the pancake , sundubu bibimpa (traditional Korean dishes) you can't go wrong. Highly recommend it!!!

Delicious food and personal attention. The owner was checking on us and helping us, which was much appreciated. He kept serving us more appetizers and bringing free drinks to my children. I loved the raspberry wine. SO MUCH DELICIOUS FOOD!! I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Amazing service and amazing well served food. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Great variety in the menu and very affordable. For two people it was about $100 will 3 appetizers and two choices of meat.
