Great deep dish pizza. We had the Caesar salad and gluten free deep dish pizza. Both very good. Crust on pizza is harder to cut but still very good

Wouldn’t necessarily say this is the best deep dish in Chicago but pizza is always delicious :) The cheesy garlic bread was better the last time we came, this time it was very plain, yellow (no burn spots in the cheese), and no flavor.

What an absolute treat of a restaurant! Phenomenal service, cozy little atmosphere and even better food. If you’re looking for the best Chicago style deep dish in the area, look no further than Lou Malnati’s. You won’t be disappointed!

LOVED THIS LOCATION! I loved the clam chowder and the pizza. The dessert was amazing! Save some room for sure!

We arrived around lunch on a Monday. It wasn’t too busy and we were seated immediately. We came solely for the pizza. Between our table we had a thin crust and a deep dish. Overall it was delicious! My husband raved about the thin crust pizza. Our server was very professional and attentive to our needs! My only complaint is that the server dished up my first piece of pizza ruining my chance at a good photo 😂 Overall we were super impressed!!!

Great as always. Pizza crust was perfection. Fresh ingredients. House salad with the goganzola is delicious with the Italian vineragret house dressing. Bottle of chiant,i you can't beat that for dinner. Sat on the wrap around windowed porch. Amazingly enough not much traffic noise. Wonderful time.

Here from Michigan on business and wanted to get myself a good Chicago Style pizza. Stopped in, was promptly seated at the bar, the bartender was wonderful and the food was fantastic. I really like the atmosphere of the restaurant, and the very friendly staff. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Lous special deep dish is heaven! Worth the extra calories. U gotta do the butter crust...the blend on this pizza is unreal; Spinach mix, mushrooms and sliced roma tomatoes covered with mozzarella, romano and cheddar cheese NOM NOM. Aint no one doing deep dish better than Lou's.

Had a decent take-out experience. Food was not bad. The tomato/tomato sauce in the Personal size cheese pizza had a weird taste. The place was super busy and the staff at the lobby were really not in good mood, except for that one person who helped me with the take-out pack.

Classic deep dish Chicago style pizza. Great crust and great sauce. I wouldn’t recommend any sides as that would take away from the pizza. And believe me you need all of the room :) One always needs to go with Lou’s special and the meat lovers. Good selection of beer on tap. Great and friendly service and they can accommodate large parties without any issues.

Awesome place for deep dish pizza!! Great service and great tasting food! Got the medium deep dish and it’s more than enough for 2 people. The small is the perfect size for 2 people to be super full. Highly recommend!

Coming from out of town Lou's was highly reccomended for the best deep dish pizza. With nothing else to go on we made the quick trip and it did not disappoint. The appetizer of calamari and the personal deep dish pizzas that you can custom top for any taste were excellent. Paired with a nice glass of wine and finished off with hands down some of the best Tiramasu I've ever been lucky enough to try. As my guest commented, it was hard to tell what was better, the tiramasu or the pizza. Price point is in check and eating in their open room looking the Gateway Veterns Park it makes for a must stop from anyone. Enjoy!

Stopped in for dinner before a show in the area and was not disappointed. Ordered a Malnati Chicago Classic deep dish pizza, which is made with lean sausage, extra cheese, and vine-ripened tomato sauce on Buttercrust. Absolutely delicious, the cheese just drips off and melts in your mouth. Price wasn't bad, paid 15 bucks for a small. Just make sure you give yourself time as it takes about 30-45 minutes to cook the deep dish, maybe longer if they are busy.

Lou Malnati's-especially the location in my hometown of Schaumburg-is AWESOME! This particular visit was for my birthday dessert-which I look forward to every year. There's just something about that warm, fresh baked chocolate chip cookie in its own individual pan with ice cream and whipped cream on top that just can't be beat! The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, the service always friendly and prompt and the food ALWAYS delicious 😋 I've taken several friends and family from out of town to Lou's and it's always a BIG success! I sincerely appreciate the annual birthday dessert. Thank you

Me and my son had heard so much about this place so decided lets go there. Went on a Sat eve and of course there was waiting.. We asked if we could sit at the bar instead and they said its a full service bar and we are welcome to sit there.. Joe the bartender was an awesome personal and helped us a lot on what to order as we never had deep dish pizza before.. well we did but not in Chicago. The pizza were (delicious)¹⁰⁰⁰⁰⁰. The best pelizza we ever had! My son ordered the small and I ordered the personal and either of us could not finish it! But we still did. I asked Joe if they have a tie up with AAA as someone willl need to tow me out of the restaurant...:-)

We ordered buffalo wings that were delicious. The Caesar salad, which for some strange reason had tomatoes in it, and house salad were also good. I ordered Chicago's deep dish with chicken sausage, onions, and green peppers. The pizza was very bland no flavor. The sausage was not seasoned and the pizza needed help. We added red pepper, oregano, and had to use a knife to dig out g and garlic salt but still didn't help. The server was very nice and prompt. This is the first place I had food to go and didn't mind throwing it in the garbage, but we drove downtown and found some homeless people to give the pizza to.

Went on a weeknight. There were people waiting outside. I went to the bar and there were plenty of seats. I had an individial house salad and a Chicago Classic (personal size) pizza. They lack a small salad rather the individual house salad is almost a mean in itself. I asked for asmall salad -- they don't have that. The pizza was pretty good but quite small. Service as okay. the waitress/bartender seemed not too engaged, rather spent a great deal of time talking with a couple of gentlemen. No problem but did not spread her attention. Overall, an okay place but salad, small pizza, soda, tip, $33 -- a bit expensive.

We absolutely love Lou Malnati's pizza!! Had to stop and enjoy this delight on our way through Schaumburg Illinois. Grabbed a few frozen ones to bring back home to Minnesota. Super wish there was a location up here in Minnesota

Bar tender Justin was amazing! Held great conversations with everyone at the bar, gave great recommendations for food and made beautiful drinks. Had THE best deepdish pizza, pasta and three cheese garlic bread 🤌🏼😍😍😍 crazy good flavours and will definitely be a new staple when passing through to Chicago!

The definitive deep dish experience. So good! The service is as good as the food, too.

Definitely quality pizza. While I’m not huge on chunky sauce, this was delicious. My first time having Chicago style pizza. Pulling each piece off the pizza led to a long string of cheese.

Staff was very nice. Pizza flavor was decent, I was hoping for a more adventurous taste palette, but it was still tasty. On a not-busy, not-full Thursday night, it took 47 minutes for my personal pizza to be served (much longer than I’d hoped). My waitress was consistent on refills though, which was great. I would rate this experience, from my one visit there, 3.5 stars - which rounds up to 4.

We had our rehearsal Dinner at Lou Malnati's. The planning process was somewhat disorganized. They didn't take our deposit because the system was down. Then they mentioned they would reach out to us a week before to confirm, and they never did. The waitresses the night of were fantastic, they served the pizza quickly, filled the drinks, we didn't have to wait for anything. The food was great as well, but we had one MAJOR issue. One of our guests had found a giant shard of glass at the bottom of his beer. Put it all the way in his mouth thinking it was ice and nearly chomped down. When brought to their attention, they apologized to the guest but didn't bring it up to anyone or even us, the hosts of the event! We would have expected them to bring out new drinks or replace the drinks on the table just in case there were other pieces but they did not. It was tougher to enjoy the rest of the evening wondering if I was going to find another piece of glass in my food/drinks. They did not take anything off the bill, or give anything to our guest for their mistake. I would have loved for my guest to receive a $20 gift card or something on our $1000 bill, but nothing was given.

I grew up in Hoffman Estates and haven't had Lou's pizza in years! Came to Illinois had to stop got 3 frozen pizzas to bring home, best deep dish pizza you can get. Got a chance to take some pictures inside, great sports theme.

The food was great. I had an appetizer, pizza and dessert. It was my first time trying Chicago style deep dish pizza. It was really good. The service was great. Our server was Michelle, and she was attentive knowledgeable and professional. I would go back in a heartbeat for just the service, but the food is a good bonus!

Very good thin crust pizza (did not try the thick crust). It's nice that they have a dedicated space for to go orders, so you aren't dealing with the restaurant traffic. The lady that helped me at the pick up area was friendly. The pizza was full of toppings, and the garlic cheese bread was really good. We also tried the cannoli dip and it was delicious! What a twist on a classic Italian dessert. I'd recommend this place and would definitely go back if we are in the Chicago area again.

This place was not only amazing in its interior design, but the food was some of the best I've ever had. Will definitely eat here again if in Chicago. The spinach bread was simply divine. The pizza is in a class all of its own.

Our appetizers were amazing!! Berchetta, calamari and cheese bread. Our main courses were yummy too. The spaghetti barely had any sauce on it but our waitress was awesome and got more!

The lettuce is supposed to make the plate look nice but they gave us old lettuce. The waitress was okay, she didn’t really come to our table after we got our food.

Neat place to eat. Finally had some Chicago deep dish. It was good but I also had a thin crust pizza and it was better. I'm a thin crust kind of guy anyway. The service was good and the place was clean.

Had dinner there tonight with my family at 6pm, all 9 of us. The food was outstanding! The atmosphere is like a family gathering, excellent. The service was fantastic, the waitress made us feel as if we were her only customers, and she was so patient with the kids. Overall a great dining experience. My meal in particular, was the best Baked Penne that I've had in 20 years since my grandmother passed away. We are only in town for a week, but we are going back before we leave.

Great service from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. The aroma that filled the air was like we walked into someone’s Nonni’s house. The restaurant felt like a house with two floors and wood detail. Our server Rebecca was great and on point. The food was excellent, a must in Schaumburg.

No review could do it justice. Butter crust is the way to go. Cheesy thick cheese. My friends ordered half with sausage. No complaints. We need them in california.

Stopped by and have to say, Lou Malnati's really is the best deep dish in Chicago. Got The Lou and was really impressed. The crust is perfection. Toppings were generous and not over the top cheese or sauce. Meat toppings are great, but this pizza doesn't need it!

We were in town visiting, came here Tuesday for lunch. Arrived around noon, the place was pretty busy already. The service was friendly. We had mozzarella sticks, Malnati salad, and deep dish pizza. Mozzarella sticks were very good with marinara sauce. The salad is big enough for 2-3 people with a lot crunch bacon bits, diced fresh tomatoes and crumble cheese, and dressing is already fixed in. It is a little on the sweet side. Pizza is good. The crust is more like pie crust tasted good. This is a nice casual place to dine.

A client recommended this place and he took us out there and it did not disappoint! Great atmosphere, even better pizza! For sure get the sausage and pepperoni. That one was super good. Get the local beers as well and you’re good to go! Highly recommend.

I've been always enjoyed their pizza for over 25 plus years and last pizza I've order was one of the WORST pizza ever from this location. OMG... I still have a few pieces left in my freezer just in case, if someone asked me for a piece. I don't know who made this pizza that day, but WORST EVER !!! Any frozen pizza from grocery store is much better than this one !!!

The Lou was yummy! 😋 only thing is had I known that the deep dish pizza takes nearly 35+ mins! But, it was yummy!
