First of all, I must say their food is tasty and all the other services they provided were really bad and the management was very poor. I booked for the half-board package, and when I checked in they asked us to pay the total amount for the stay but, the people who're in the front office don't know to read a bank card's expiration date properly. Anyways I'm not against charging at the beginning, but usually, other hotels do it when customers checkout. The room is a bit small but has all the things necessary. Here come the worst things, 1. This is not a place for people who're looking for leisure or calm quiet. Rooms are next to our door functions place so very noisy place. 2. They have a pool but it's only for bacteria and algae breeding and not recommend for human use. Seems like no one used or cleaned(filtered) this for ages. 3. All most all the hotels have a dining location with a buffet facility if they offer half-board or full-board packages but, here they first asked us to eat inside our room and they only have a pre-defined menu which we have to accept anyway. I'm really dissatisfied with the way they handle meals and they don't inform this stuff at least when we're making the booking/check-in, I assume that's why they charge the whole amount when are checking so the customer doesn't have any other options rather than accept their poor services. I don't recommend this place for anyone to stay there anymore. The only thing this place is worth for takeaway. Maybe a better place for village liquor drinkers.

The custom server in this hotel is very bad.. we bought a birthday cake on 08/04/2022 around 7.30-8.00 pm and we cut the cake at 10.30 pm this cake is very bad.. I think they are using new icing. Expire Cake. It tastes very bad. When we protested about this at around 10.30-11.00. They said they can't exchange this cake tomorrow, they said they will take this cake back today... They said they have to bring the cake today at 12.00 noon. I don't think it's practical..and one person talks to us saying he's the president and he yelled at us that we can't take responsibility for their cake. It was absurd. Don't order any cakes from Lavenro Park .. bad customer service….

The hotel is very nice. But some of the security personnel here do not know how to talk to the customer. It is very sad. Also the service of the boy in front (Tamil boy) is very ugly. Also, the two receptionists in front do not know how to talk to the customer and I doubt they are in a bad mood....

Organized few wedding including my sisters. Superb location and space but it’s getting too much rules and restrictions. Food getting worse every year. @Lavenro get those fixed, before its too late.

Attended a wedding reception of my friend in this reception hall and it was great. A luxurious reception hall with a grand look. A good lighting system and a good vibe can be experienced here. The large LED screen gives an extra thrill to all spectators. A good service is given. A spacious car park is there. Food is amazing and delicious.

This was on the way to a location. We decided to stop by for a small snack and drinks. They don't have food options all the time. But when it is fresh, it's good. Their tea and coffee if great. Plenty of car parking available. It's next to the reception hall.

It has a good restaurant with a large variety of food at a reasonable price. Service was nice as well. It's a good place for people who go to the Seethawaka Botanical gardens or the Leisure world to have a good meal

Really disappointed about their customer service due to the delay in cash refund for two years now from the date of wedding. Need to call them and follow up about 10 times to get 20% of the total outstanding at a time. Everyday, the reason for delay is lack of function. I hate of calling this people now. Be careful when dealing with them. I will never introduce this place to any one. Disgusting.

It consists of several huge reception halls & a takeaway pastry shop. Nicely structured place & supportive staff. There is an ample parking space available for guests. Easy access from Colombo Ratnapura main road. Highly recommended for Weddings & other receptions.

Very convenient road by location to stay. Actually experienced the restaurant at lavenro garden and the food is exceptionally good and great. We tried the chicken BBQ and sea food mixed kebab. Fantastic food, lots of varieties to choose and customer friendly service.

Everything is good food is delicious. But the problem was guy who was operating the multimedia in my friend's wedding. He was a hotel staff and not friendly at all. We wanted to play a powerpoint at the wedding. He said there is no powerpoint in the PC he cant help. We offer him to play the powerpoint in my tab and connect to projector he said no. We had to convert powerpoint to video from a outside shop. He didnt even smile and attitude toward us was very bad.

Had a birthday dinner at their restaurant. Food was on par with the cost. Dessert was exceptional. Fair price for the portion sizes. Service was exceptional. Especially Mr. Dilmin who catered to all my requests happily and swiftly.

My wedding was on 31.01.2024. I am really happy that I chose Lavenro Garden Hotel for the event. I was able to do everything in one place without any stress. Especially about Mr. Chinthaka. He was always very concerned about my wedding. And he very kindly talked to me about every little thing and solved it for me. Really no words to express the support I received from him. He worked hard and spent a lot of time on my wedding. And thanks to all the staff.

My homecoming was held on 5th March 2023. The food & service & location are excellent. Also, the friendly staff who supported us in many ways to successfully arranged the function also they followed up everything until end end of the function therefore I would highly recommend that Lavenro Garden is the best hotel in Avissawella to organize any kind of functions, events etc. Further, I would take this opportunity to thank for the management team at Lavenro Garden as they have done a great job to arrange our function as we expected.

Nice place.The best place for weddings for those around Avissawella. The food is great. The rooms are clean. There is also a large swimming pool.

We ordered cream of chicken soup, and the buns that came with it were smelly and expired. The odor was so bad. Extremely disappointed. We decided to cancel the order, and to our dismay, they didn't make any effort to compensate for the situation.

Good hotel with pool, children play area, bar and resturant, ground and ample parking.

Attend to a wedding party held at night. Food was good and had a wide variety. Had good staff and they offered very good service.

The place is more a less a Banquet hall...services for which I cannot comment. However, the poolside restaurant is the most unhygienic places I have patronized. The structure is over a stream ( ela) where all the waste water of the hotel flows . The stench is unbearable and swarms of flies on the food is a nightmare. The management is nonchalant to this aspect caring two hoots to the discomfort of the customers. The swimming pool is no better....water is off colour and seems not cleaned for ages. A strong pungent smell of chlorine is evident and swimmers have after effects of burning sensation. The food was very oily and liberal use of MSG and sauce to make them tasty has been the practice. Considering all above, I wouldn't recommend Lavenro Garden Hotel for day outings although it's picturesque.

Easy accsess from Colombo to Rathnapura main road. Highly recommended for weddings & other receptions. They have a beautiful spaces banquet hall & beautiful photo location . The staff was very friendly .Service was good . The food is delicious .

This place is famous for weeding hotel. Also, for food. Ordered their biriyani pot. Ordered before one and half earlier. But it took more than 1 hour to hand over once I arrived at that place. The staff are not pleasant. The food was good. But not the Basmathi rice in Biriyani. Satisfied with the portion. It's worth the money. But the service is not satisfied. It's better to dine in or take away. They also have a delivery. I am not sure they will deliver on time. Also, I can pay through cards.

The food is delicious, especially the breakfast, but recently, when you go to have breakfast, it is not served now.. It means that people who want to have breakfast do not need to go here.
