So glad I ordered delivery because the reviews were very telling. Paying for gratuity before the service is outrageous in my opinion. Anyways, I ordered the smothered pork chops w/ sides, and the juicy chicken. The food was soooooo good!! Definitely would order for delivery from here again! I just wouldn’t do a pickup or sit in though.

Ms. Love showed us some love at the bar while eating our meal. 5 star southern food at its best. Entree were fried pork chop and fried catfish. Sides were cabbage and smoke turkey, collard greens, Mac and cheese, black eyed peas. Didn’t get a picture of the honey lemon wings but they were on point. If staying local for a flight or just in town give them a try. You want be disappointed.

Our friends brought us here and raved about the food. We decided to try it. Everything we tried was absolutely DELICIOUS! The service was excellent as well. Only complaint, it was extremely hot inside the restaurant. Not sure if the air conditioner wasn’t working. We will definitely patronize this establishment again and will be recommending it to our friends.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during my husband and I visit. The bartender gave suggestions for my carry out order and we were pleased. The smothered fried chicken, S’Mack N’ Cheese were delicious. The Parmesan corn on the cob was the best I’ve ever had! Jerk Turkey over rice, cabbage and yams made my husband taste buds dance. Unique ambience and vibes! 2nd visit in 3days! Highly recommend!

This was my first time visiting. The food came out hot. I ordered the shrimp and chicken kabobs with yellow rice. My chicken was a little dry, however it was seasoning well. I was surprised to see that gratuity was added to my check even though I ate in and picked up my own plate from the counter. I did not appreciate this information not being disclosed to me as I was also asked at checkout if I wanted to include gratuity. Seating is limited.

I’ve tried this place out twice! It’s a pretty decent spot to chill and dine! The customer service was good, the cashiers are friendly! I tried the porkchop 2/5⭐️ - they must’ve fried a lot of fish in the same oil because it taste more like fish than porkchop so I couldn’t really enjoy it, Mac and Cheese 3/5⭐️ - didn’t really have much flavor but it was ok, the Ribs 5/5⭐️ I enjoyed them, I think they may be my go to meal at this spot; they were a LITTLE bit burnt on one side but it wasn’t too bad— they’re tender and i loved the sauce. The shrimp and chicken kabobs w/ yellow rice 3/5⭐️ but my chicken wasn’t done, it was very rubbery so I couldn’t even finish the meal, the yellow rice didn’t have any flavor but it was made well. I don’t know if I’ll try that again.

I went to Lickety Split on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. The establishment was clean and quaint and there was plenty of seating even though they were quite busy. The menu items were easy and clear and I thoroughly enjoyed what I had. It was HOT in there but that had to be because it was hot outside, the windows were floor to ceiling and the people were bustling through. Let's crank up the AC next time! Overall I'd visit again!

EVERYTHING that I tried was delicious. The turkey wings and yellow rice are really good as well as the grilled chicken! The yams amazing! Shrimp and chicken skewer also a must try. Will return. I have to come visit the store in person.

I tried this restaurant for the first time. Service was ok as it was Mother's Day. The prices are excellent in comparison to similar restaurants. The food I purchased was good; however, the cornbread dressing was a little mushy. It probably needs less of something. Turkey wing was good. Online ordering was easy. I was confused about pickup because it was in a location where other patrons were waiting to order. I didn't want to seem as if I was skipping the line. Perhaps online pick-up can simply be at the register, away from the "waiting to order" line. Overall, I would rate 4/5 and plan to return with my voracious husband.

Amazing southern style food! Fried green tomatoes are so good! Homemade chicken tenders to die for. Everything was just so good and freshly cooked. Not to mention have a nice lilttle bar with a great music Playlist. A+++

I stopped by on Wednesday night for dinner after work and ate good!!! I had the smothered and fried pork chops with dressing and mac and cheese. The food was so good that I brought sides for lunch tomorrow. I sat at the bar and was served by Yolanda who was great. My favorite drink is the blueberry lemonade mojito. I had two. ☺️ this is not a business to gatekeep!

My experience was incredible. Outstanding service! I walked in and was waiting in line, a worker pointed me to the menus on the wall to get started. The bartender took my order and recommended the brisket. He was very friendly. He brought my drink to my table and I mentioned I forgot my ticket number they would call. He went above and beyond and told me he was listening for it and he proceeded to bring me my food. Incredible atmosphere and lovely workers. I was having a really rough evening and they lifted my spirits. So thank you so much!!!
