Very clean and professional looking salon. Laura is my hairdresser and she really listened to what I wanted and did just that. I don't trust many at all when it comes to coloring and cutting my long hair. She is the best, knows what she is doing and she has been doing it for a long time! I loved everything about this salon and the stylists. I was a "walk in" and from the moment I "walked in", I knew I would enjoy it. The layout, decor and music set a really comfortable tone. Most salons have an overwhelming chemical smell. J. Sloane has a very soft, natural aroma and that alone would send me back. Denise was the gal who cut my hair and she gave me exactly what I wanted for a fair price. I felt she really listened to me and did not push hair care products. I noticed the other stylist had just made a younger customer very happy with new highlights. I could tell that these stylists have a ton of experience and love what they do. I would highly recommend this salon (for any age/gender).

Well. The stylist cut my wife's hair shorter than she wanted while arguing about the length, "no when you tilt your head back it reaches the mid of your back," who talks around like that. Also had the audacity to tell me an Army Veteran, my hair style request, high and tight, was "for middle aged school boys." So besides being insulting, she couldn't follow request, or be friendly. It's been a year today, wife is still upset about the cut. Haven't been back wont be back.

Linda was my hairdresser she did a great job! First time here, I explaine how I wanted to cut my hair,she definitely knew what I was talking about, she style my hair the way I like it. I had the lovely Ellie cut my hair for me! She is wonderful and did a big cut for me...first pixie and I have super coarse hair, she took on the challenge and worked with it. Turned out awesome! I love it! Also, everyone is friendly and welcoming at J Sloane. 😊
