It is believed that this place is belongs to lord Shiv Shankar’s in laws and Mata Sati’s father Raja Daksha had organised that grand yagya here at this particular place where Mata Sati were jumped off in sacred fire of yagya. Hence, this is a sacred place for Hindu religion and people do visit it with faiths. Very beautiful place indeed.

Temple is located near the Ganga. It's the birth place of Maa Sita. The name of the temple is according to the name of Dakshya Prajapati, father of Maa Sita. This place has local stalls to buy things also has a ghat to take bath in the Ganga. Awesome place for the religious people.

Everytime I visit , this place always fill me with the remembrance of the sacrifices, the love , that sati Mata gave for her husband Shivji, infrastructure is awesome and safe . One can easily reach from anywhere in Uttarakhand . Inside photography isn't allowed in main Dakshewar temple and other temple of Mata ji .

Daksh Prajapati , one of the most famous character of Hindu Dharam and the Father of Sati.. Its nice to see his temple but the Ganga bank near this temple make it more attractive. Here People can fell a divine power and get mental peace..

This is only temple in india for Dakshprajapati shivahin yogya and Sati kund. Inside temple it is very clean and you can reach there by kankhal RK math. If u visit Haridwar please visit this place and if u in good position in your please do some charity here. As there are vendors who will change your note into coins as per barter system.

Prajapati Daksh Temple is situated in Kankhal of Haridwar. It is believed that there was a war on Shiva Lord. Once the battle was going on here, Daksh Maharaj did not call Shiva and Sati, then when the Sati came here, Yagna remained in the middle So when Shiva came to God, Sati tried to destroy himself by jumping into the yagya kund but Lord Shiva came back behind and takes the burnt Sati away from where Sati's body True tears fell on the temple there
