We visited here a few days ago for breakfast. We were warned ahead of time that the wait times can be a little crazy here. They opened at 6am and we got the around 8ish and to our surprise we were seated within a few minutes. The restaurant ambiance and decor is top notch, the staff was great, and the food was wonderful! We were surprised at how big the portions were, definitely could have split a meal. We enjoyed the Merry Berry fresh juice, ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy as like an appetizer for our family of 5 to be able to sample it. It was delicious but heavy and very filling, we quickly realized we probably shouldn't have ordered it when we saw our main entrees come out and seen how much food there was. Our family enjoyed the pancakes and french toast. The hash brown balls were different and enjoyable as well. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if in the area. I've seen some the reviews where people think they're overrated because of all the hype regarding Chip and Joanna Gaines but this place is undeniably top-notch and deserves five stars!

Believe the Hype! What an incredible experience my wife and I had at Magnolia Table. From the incredible exterior design to the very welcoming staff and excellent food. I was beyond impressed by all of it. My wife and I had no reservations and walked up for breakfast and though the wait was 30 minutes time flew by as we explored the “Take Away” visitor shop. We picked up some small things for family members and the we promptly we received the alert that our table was ready. Upon sitting I noticed the detail in the menu and placement of silverware. You can tell that both were put together with passion. Reading each explanation I wanted to try it all. We ordered the French Toast breakfast and I think I will be dreaming of that mean for a long time. The eggs and bacon were plenty of portion and the homemade tater tots…out of this world. The French toast was incredible too. I can not recommend this place enough. You will not be disappointed.

Great place to eat. We went at lunch time, the week after Christmas and had a two hour wait. It was worth the wait. The food was great! I got the Cobb Salad and my husband got a breakfast sandwich. We also ordered the bread basket. It’s a variety of offerings from their bakery. I highly recommend that you order it! I took tons of photos—so enjoy!

Without knowing it, we'd booked a hotel room right across the street, and even though our hotel offered a 'free' breakfast, we had to walk over and try Chip and Jo's little gem! This place is so charming and so clean, and we loved that the seating made it easy to visit with people sitting near you. We met a couple and continued to visit with them as we shopped at the attached bakery/shop and in the outdoor seating area. The food was good, comfort fare and not such a huge selection to have to choose from. We started with the biscuits and butter sampler. Four different butters, each better than the last! We ordered the breakfast sandwich, which was big enough to take half home, and came with wonderfully seasoned potatoes. Also ordered the breakfast taco with bacon, which was nothing special but all I needed after the biscuits. Our new friends had the crunchy French toast and an order of the pancakes, raving about both. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looked absolutely fabulous and is served on lovely pottery-like plates with beautiful, heavy tableware settings on the table. Beautiful 'monogramed' paper napkins on the table, but if you'd like to keep one, ask for more napkins and save the one on the table because they can't give you another special one! Everything, including the bathrooms, is clean and shiny, and everyone is kind. They've set the bar for us with breakfast and lunch restaurants!

Great place for a special meal. The food was delicious and the service was very kind and helpful. Everything looked amazing and so very carefully curated. The Biscuits with the different butters were fabulous…our fav was the strawberry butter! My kiddo loved his French toast sticks and generous portion of fruit. The chicken salad croissant was delicious! The avocado toast was also very good. Our special lemonades, strawberry and lavender lemonade were all VERY good as well. We made a reservation for 12:30p and they seated us very shortly after we checked in. The place was filled but we never felt rushed or crowded. We had a good experience and would recommend.

Make Reservations! Don’t miss the opportunity to go here. We couldn’t get reservations so we arrived at 7 am for the doors to open at breakfast. There was a line to get in at 6:30 am! Don’t miss a change to try this place. Food is fantastic! The presentation and the way it’s served is like a 5 star restaurant without the price. You have to try the Strawberry Butter!! My husband is still talking about the biscuits and butter. Some of the best homemade butters here. Homemade tater tots were amazing too! Fluffy and yummy breakfast. Don’t miss your seat at the Table, The Magnolia Table.

This was such a incredible experience! The entire restaurant is so unique from the moment you step inside and. Sit down to eat . The service was amazing . Bathrooms really clean , and the food was delicious . This is more of a breakfast , brunch not really dinner kind of restaurant. But i will say look forward to waiting 30-1 hour bc it gets so busy . We ordered the burgers and they were super delicious the bun has its own unique taste and we ordered there Tater tots they are huge and yummy . Highly recommended! The green hot sauce is super delicious and tasty not really spicy but delicious. If your in Waco you should stop here .

At Magnolia Table in dear old Waco's heart, Chip and Joanna Gaines have made food an art. A country-style oasis, a delicious treat, Where every single dish is a hearty feat. Jo's Buttermilk Biscuits, oh what a sight, With strawberry butter, it's pure delight. Add some gravy, it's game over my friend, A flavor explosion, the joy never ends. The Farm Breakfast, rich and vast, You'd want to don your overalls fast. Potatoes, eggs, and bacon full of flavor, Each bite is something to truly savor. The service by Jae is a real perk, Ensures your breakfast is more than just work. Not just a meal, but an experience to share, Every visit, you can feel the care. Chip and Joanna Gaines, a duo full of flair, Their love for food and people, you'll feel it in the air. Their genuine charm and rustic style, makes every dish worth the while. So take a seat, enjoy the charm, At Magnolia Table, the food is warm. A meal at this table is sure to please, It's a culinary hug, a warm summer's breeze.

Such a beautiful restaurant! Our food was delightful and just tasted so fresh and elegant. I’m on the pickier side and ordered the chicken strips and I was pleasantly surprised to find out they were the best tasting and looking chicken strips I’ve ever had and I have high standards (Canes). The French fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and their fry sauce is one of the top sauces I’ve ever had. The lemonade flight was also delicious and tasted so fresh! Our favorite was the mint cucumber. Our only issue was that our waitress forgot our fry sauce and extra biscuits and took a very long time to get us our bill well after she collected our dishes. We can’t give less than 5 stars though because I have never this nice of atmosphere combined with excellent food.

We were so excited to visit Magnolia Table and make a girls trip to Dallas with Magnolia being our main reason for the trip. The place was so cute, but the food was not as great as I was expecting. It was good, but not worth another trip for. We ordered an assortment of things to try and then take back to the hotel for later. Baked goods were great! The cheese spread and crackers were good. The burger was good. The "tater tots" were different and weird. The biscuit was good, but very buttery and crumbly. The sausage gravy was really good. The potato soup was really good. The eggs Benedict white of the egg was so runny I couldn't eat it and the scrambled eggs were also runny enough that my mom couldn't eat them. Even if the bad eggs would have been corrected, I'm not sure it would be worth another trip.

Made a reservation and was able to be seated right away. Service was great and didn’t have to wait a long time for food. All the food was amazing with unique menu items and very reasonably priced, definitely not a tourist trap. Would 100% recommend.

We LOVED this experience! Made reservations weeks ahead of time knowing we would be in Dallas for a conference. Landed and drove straight to Waco for our 2pm reservation (table for 6). We were all so excited! Food was wondering amazing in flavor... Our only disappointment was that all of our meals were served under warm. Maybe because they close at 3pm and our reservations were the last of the day? The Eggs Benedict we're almost chilly and everyone ordered the potato totes and no one could finish because the were cold. Burgers were warm and over cooked, we all ordered medium and we're all served well done warm, so not sure if they were already made and heated up or what happened there. Nonetheless, it was a lovely experience and I would recommend going... Just go earlier in the day if possible.

I loved it here!!! Right when we walked it, we were lucky enough to be seated right away (when we were walking out, there was already a wait list for walk-ins) The waiter was awesome! Super nice, definitely welcoming, and got me to download the magnolia app to receive 10% off things. Food was soo good and filling! Bacon was scrumptious with everything. You have to try this place If you’re worried about wait, I would recommend to go early or make a reservation.

This place definitely will be a five star!! The only con is our server is kind of “too busy?.” The food and environment are awesome and recommended! - Jo’s buttermilk biscuits with (4) butter, is the best dish ever!!! The biscuits are the best we ever tried!!! So soft and buttery! We had one leftover, and it still tasted good after refrigerating. The four butters are amazing. My words can’t describe how good they are. A must try dish! - summer salad is a seasonal salad that they provide during summer. Fresh and clean salad. Their food ingredient is good! Love it! The grilled chicken in the salads is delicious! - Our Favorite Chicken Salad Sandwich is also a five star dish! I love their chicken salad, that you can really taste the “chicken”. It doesn’t have too many dressing in it which is fresh and awesome. Their pastry are stunning, whatever is the buttermilk biscuits or croissants! They are just amazing! - wait time: we made a reservation online but still waited for 20 mins. Even though it was a weekday morning, but still many people were waiting. - Service: the service was a ok. Our server was friendly, but might be too busy?? Will recommend this place a LOT!

Reservation recommended! I made a reservation back in October for a May visit. We arrived 45 minutes early and were seated right away. Others without a reservation were having to wait 1+ hours. Atmosphere was beautiful inside and out. There's a beautiful little garden style patio area outside. There's also a "take out," coffee and gift shop next door. The food was AMAZING. We had the burger with bacon onion jam. That jam was so good! We also had the lemon lavender donut holes as an appetizer and French silk pie as dessert. All were incredible. I bought 3 cinnamon rolls to bring home. We ate the cinnamon rolls the next day. They weren't as good as I'd hoped, but maybe they are better fresh. Definitely worth the trip!

First visit to Waco. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were important. From the host to our server, we were impressed. The coffee is some of the best coffee we have ever tasted, especially the pecan coffee. We started with biscuits and gravy for my husband and biscuits and jam for me and let’s just say these were the best we have ever had! Everything was so good! I had the blueberry lemon pancakes with a side of bacon, coffee and orange juice. My husband had farm eggs Benedict and the pecan coffee, which was even better than mine. Can’t wait to visit more often when we move there. We stopped in the shop next door and bought a few souvenirs and Joanna’s new cool book.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting the silos. Cute place. Food was great. You must try a biscuit! So good. We had a chicken salad, grilled cheese, chilli, and chicken tenders. No complaints here! Chicken was tender and delicious. I would stop in again if I were in town.

You may be skeptical because it's part of the Magnolia brand but it really was a great breakfast/brunch place. I would give a lower rating if you were considering lunch as there are just not many options for lunch food. We had the Kind Breakfast and the Breakfast Sandwich. We had a chocolate croissant also. Everything was great. The pastries and croissant were flaky & extremely good. Service matched the food and was great. I would suggest you get a reservation before going. Would recommend whole heartedly! Go, eat, enjoy

The Food was amazing. I ordered the Seasonal Club Sandwich after passing on the Chicken Salad and Crispy French Toast. I passed because my wife ordered Chicken Salad “it was OK”. Granddaughter ordered the Crispy French Toast - “HOME RUN”, by far the best I’ve ever hand. The service was a little slower than any other place I’ve experienced in the last 5 days. Thus the lower rating. Would I go back? Would I recommend it to others? Absolutely! It was a GREA5 experience and the food was over the top.

1st time here. Must try their biscuits. It's the fluffiest, moist, flavorful, perfectly light and dense, tasty biscuits.. I ordered the farm breakfast, added candied thick peppered bacon. This place is awesome. Love the decor, atmosphere, great service, all positive attitudes and positive energy. This really lightens up Waco Texas. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st day here in Waco. We usually simply drive by Waco on the way to Austin, but now, this is worth a stop all the time. The crusted caramel cornflake french toast is a great idea and executed perfectly. Highly recommended. Our server was Miss Brianna. She was super helpful and attentive.

As you can tell from the pictures the place is beautiful! We didn’t have reservations, and for being a weekday after lunch it was a bit busy but nothing too crazy. (We waited about 15 min for our table) Our server took our drink and food order and never came back, someone different brought our drinks out and then someone else our food, but we were never offered drink refills. We asked for our check and waited about 20 min for her to bring it. The food was good just a bit cold.

Was able to get reservations and am so glad I did! The service was top notch, my server was very friendly, and made great menu selections. The food was also outstanding, with a great brunch like menu, a mix of breakfast and lunch items. The Our Bacon & Eggs is a must try, the candied bacon, mixed with the jalapeño jam is phenomenal!

I visited Magnolia Table this morning and had an excellent experience. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making me feel at home. The menu offered a variety of options, including classic dishes and some unique ones. I ordered the Harvest Salad and it was one of the best salads I've ever had. The vinaigrette was flavorful and the shaved Brussels sprouts exceeded expectations. Our server Jay was friendly and attentive, and my coffee cup was never empty. Jay went above and beyond to make sure we had a positive experience. I highly recommend Magnolia Table and I am looking forward to dining here again!

Very busy place that is well equipped to handle the crowds. We did have a reservation for lunch. Food is delicious. I ordered from the seasonal menu and my husband ordered the Gaines Bros Burger. Delicious! Loved our visit to Magnolia!

Absolutely outstanding. I'm from South Carolina so we know good southern cooking. This checks all the boxes. Food was top notch and the atmosphere is great. We got a reservation before we flew out to Texas so we didn't really have to deal with waiting long at all. Staff were very courteous and friendly. The strawberry butter was definitely a highlight for us, we expected it to be good but we were surprised on how good it actually was. Bacon was cooked perfectly, just how I like it where it's crisp with some chew to it. Breakfast potatoes had a great crunchy exterior with a soft and pillowy interior. The biscuits were text book on what I expect to get when I see a biscuit. Crisp on the outside, fluffy and flaky on the inside. The coffee was another highlight for my wife and I, so much so we came back the following day when we were heading out to Austin to grab some drinks for the road. If we can ever come back to Texas you can bet that we're going to be stopping here again.

Finally - got to experience Magnolia Table, and what a great place. We dropped in for a late lunch, and were happy with most everything about the experience. The Gaines Brothers Burger is a must. The pimento grilled cheese was perfect. After we had started on lunch, our table neighbors got bacon and eggs... Oh My Goodness it was so good. Deviled eggs and candied bacon - YES!! Can't wait to go back and get some breakfast.

Food was amazing. The Hot Honey Sauce with tenders, was off the chain. We tried the Lemonade Flight. 4 different drinks, all well worth it. Inside decoration truly Beautiful, looks exactly like some of the Unique Homes showcased on TV. Drove from Dallas, trip was well deserved.

Had to make a reservation and stop here on my way back home to Kansas City. The establishment is very nice and appealing Right from the get go. The staff was very courteous and attentive to us. I ordered the farm breakfast and my wife, sister and cousin had the breakfast sandwich, both very delicious. The highlight for us was the Biscuit Butter Flight, my favorite was the Maple,Chive and Strawberry. Our server Britt was amazing and at our service. Overall we would highly recommend as it was well worth the trip and we had a great experience!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Magnolia Table in Waco, Texas, and it was an experience I won't soon forget! From the moment I walked in, I was completely taken by the ambiance. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming feel that's both chic and comfortable, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast or brunch. The wait staff deserves a special mention. They were not just attentive and efficient, but also genuinely friendly and engaging. It's clear that customer service is a top priority at Magnolia Table, and this added a special touch to the overall dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food - it was nothing short of delicious! Every dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. The only slight drawback was the wait time. We visited on a Monday morning, expecting it to be less crowded, but still had to wait for about 30 minutes to get seated. However, this minor inconvenience was well worth it.

Let me first start off by saying that this place has been on my bucket list ever since my husband and I began watching Fixer Upper and knew that the attention to detail and Joanna’s delicious recipes would be amazing. Everything about this restaurant is AMAZING! It’s beautiful, the employees are so delightful and the food is absolutely delicious. This was an experience I’m so happy we had! The only thing that would have made this perfection is if we got to meet Joanna and Chip ;)… we are loving our Magnolia getaway here in Waco for our anniversary! Suggestions - absolutely get the biscuits and strawberry butter, the breakfast tacos and salsa are so fresh, and you must get a sweet tea!!

Everything about this place is carefully thought out and made with quality. The food was excellent. The service was great, the staff was sweet. I wasn't sure if it could live up to the hype, but it did. Simple Americana menu, just very well done.

Chip and Joanna keep doing it, I assume they have hands on or oversight as this restaurant is one of the best. I'm from Michigan and was visiting family in Azle and took time to run down to Waco just to see the magnificent Magnolia mini empire 😊. Not sure how they get the great work staff, everyone is polite, efficient and knowledgeable. They should be proud of the accomplishments and hopefully all of the Magnolia establishment will be there for years for people to enjoy. Good job well done!!!

This was a place that we had talked about going to for a while now. Chip and Joanna are the best! Now for the review. I had the Cobb salad, and my wife had the Famous Chili. Atmosphere was exactly what you would expect. It had a classy vibe with a homestyle feel. The Cobb salad was portioned correctly and made with fresh vegetables. The bacon was made to perfection. The ranch dressing was made in-house but excellent. The Famous Chili was good as well. It was seasoned but not too hot. A bed of chips in the bottom of the bowl that gave a good crunch, with cheese on top. The tea was not my favorite. I have had better. The service was attentive and did make sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. This was a phenomenal way to conclude our trip to Magnolia everything. I would recommend it to anyone for breakfast or brunch.

Second attempt to have lunch here and this time I waited for 1.5 hours! Hopefully the wait it worth the meal. Ordered the French toast breakfast with strawberry butter for lunch (substituted the meat for avocado) and hot citrus chamomile tea. The strawberry butter was divine! Yes, it was worth the wait but next time I will go online to make a reservation as that is an option.

A very limited menu with rotating specials is a GREAT way to assure all the dishes are consistently good, and we loved it! The place was very nice, clean and we loved everything about it, even the restrooms. We’ll, the bar menu had nothing I was interested in, but that’s not a big deal. Highly recommended- get a reservation!

Definitely worth the trip and wait! The food was delicious and portions were great! I'm from East coast and wish they had a restaurant over here! Definitely making another trip back! (Picture of French Toast is only one of items ordered)

Loved the environment. It was everything we dreamed of and watched on countless episode reruns! I didnt realize the restaurant is about 5 minutes away from the silos and shops with magnolia. Our food was good and our waitress was so sweet. I’m glad we get to say we have been there!

I had a lovely experience at Magnolia Table! The cozy atmosphere and rustic decor instantly set the mood for a relaxing coffee break. The baristas were skilled and friendly, serving up delicious and well-crafted beverages. During the summer ensure you sit in front a outdoor fan!

This was such a incredible experience! This is our 2nd time here. The entire restaurant is so unique from the moment you step inside. The service was amazing and despite that it was Memorial Day But i will say look forward to waiting 30-1 hour bc it gets so busy here but it’s worth the wait. We ordered the butter and biscuit sampler and our waitress suggested the summer salad that was part of the new menu and it was delicious. My hubby order the French toast and it did not disappoint. If your in Waco you should stop here you will not be disappointed.

Our party of 5 got seated about an hour earlier than expected. It was nice to get on list and received a text when our table was ready. We were able to run errands while waiting. The table was a bit dirty as were the seats. I had to wipe down the booth with napkins before sitting. The server was efficient. Our food was amazing! I highly recommend the cinnamon crunch french toast. That was to die for. The atmosphere and food is what we came here for and it did not disappoint.

I’ve heard a lot about this place since visiting Waco. I finally got the chance to try this week. The restaurant is really nice and has that up-scale clean feel where the yuppie people like to go to, but the restaurant is less expensive than it looks. The staff are very friendly and are on top of the service. The food was very delicious. My favorite type of breakfast dish I go for is Eggs Benedict and Magnolia delivers. The buttermilk biscuits were fluffy and made the dish. The Tomato Basil was on point and I finished the meal with a sweet fluffy Chocolate Croissant. Overall Magnolia Table delivers on the hype and would recommend anyone that visits Waco to come and have very enjoyable breakfast/brunch experience.
