I live in walking distance of this park. I love it. The play ground for the kids is really nice. There is a picnic area with public restrooms and water fountain. Plenty of parking. A bat hitting cage. I big open field next to that. Two large baseball diamonds and dough out. Big lights that light up the entire field. A walking and running track with mile markers. I believe it is one mile all the way around. There are two hills for a nice challenge. All paved walking area. There is a smaller dirt track that most people don’t see, but it is over near the picnic tables where the play ground is. Big beautiful trees for shade at the play ground. They even have stations for doggie bags to pick up after your dog and garbage cans every quarter mile for your confidence. They have people that are there every morning doing maintenance on the grounds and keeping it clean. I am very lucky to live in Knights Ridge a quarter mile from this park.

The City of Harker Heights continues to improve the community park. The walking trail, play park, multiple sitting areas and picnic areas are great. Obviously the ball park complex it well designed and utilized as well. Some of the patrons of the park could be a little better at picking up their trash and if there is any disappointment it’s the lack of respect for the park by some who use it. The city does a great job of keeping it clean and safe. Have fun and please pick up after yourselves.

Great place to go for a walk around the little walking path that's here. It would be cool if it was longer. There's a little pavilion where you can have a party and there's a playground next to the pavilion too. There some baseball fields and a batting cage, but you have to bring your own equipment. Also a great place to teach your kids the basics of driving before getting on the highways.

Harker Heights Community Park is a great public space with ball fields, walking trails, and an ephemeral creek in the middle. There's even a pavilion, restroom, and numerous benches & picnic tables. My partner and I sometimes stop here to eat some Oriental Cafe to go before we hike Dana Peak. When the weather is beautiful this is a nice outdoor space to enjoy.

This park is in a quiet area off FM 2410 in Harker Heights about a mile or two past the high school. There are bathroom facilities, handicap parking, a playground and a track among other things. There are lots of trees at the playground. Many walk with their dogs there. The annual suicide prevention walk has been held here the last three years. The only downside is that the track has a bit of a hill which may not be good for some.

Softball Infields are full of rocks. Not tiny ones either. Outfielders say OF is uneven. Nice scenery around the park. Restooms had no paper towels and hand dryers didnt work. We had the 9:15 game Saturday morning. Scoreboards weren't used. Besides they didnt have a place for time on them. Basic baseball scoreboards.

Nice fields but very limited space to sit and walk. There is no shade and no overnight stays for campers.

Beautiful walking trail with benches and picnic tables spread throughout. Really nice baseball fields, playground, and facilities.

Love the walking trail and it's not over crowded like Lions Park can be at times.

The community park is full of baseball fields on the rights side upon entry. On the left, there is a playground for the kids, a picnic Pavillion and some restrooms, although I don't recall seeing any bbq grills. Sorry about the short video.

Nice place to walk (walking track with minor inclines) and jog, has a playground and restrooms near the playground. Kids skating in the parking lot or using their hover boards.

🫤 It started out as a nice park but does not get the care and attention the other city parks get. Missing shade over playground area..all of birch padding is gone, and seems like they never empty trash. I guess if it's not located in good part of town they ignore it.
