This
sweet
little
trail
is
located
right
off
route
24
for
easy
access.
There
is
a
dozen
or
so
parking
spaces
but
no
rest
rooms,
grills,
or
picnic
tables.
The
trails
are
clearly
marked
and
are
moderately
challenging
due
to
roots,
mud,
logs,and
rock
ledge
that
must
be
traversed.
You
are
never
more
than
a
few
feet
from
either
rt
24
or
the
ocean
but
the
sheer
amount
of
natural
wonder
packed
into
this
little
space
(we
walked
a
mile
loop)
is
amazing.
Battered
coastal
rock
was
festooned
with
glistening
white
quartz.
Earth
was
covered
with
leaves
and
lichen
as
cedar,
birch.
maple,
and
fir
trees
reach
for
the
sky
in
a
dense
tangle.
We
saw
eagles,
seals,
geese,
more
birds
than
we
could
identify,
and
even
a
little
deer
that
day.
This
is
a
place
to
bring
the
binoculars
for
sure.
This
is
definitely
not
handicap
friendly
and
isn't
for
younger
kids
as
the
terrain
requires
attention
to
avoid
trip
and
slips.
Trails
are
exceptionally
well
marked.
I
look
forward
to
going
back.
