I go in for a "free 7 day pass" which I input my info online because I'm in town for 7 days then back to Austin, I go in and they tell me I have to pay for the month?????? I told them I'm here for the free pass because I'm not staying in Houston long but I guess they don't have that "service". THEN WHY OFFER IT ONLINE ON YOUR WEBSITE! Gym inside might be great, parking is good, staff is good but the service that they offer for guest is disappointing. I was going to enjoy my workout session here because it had good reviews but I guess I'm the one in a hundred that got a bad service. I don't know.

Updating my rating as a result of new management and the decline of the gym. There’s several machines that have been broken for MONTHS. As many members as they try to sign up, they could add some innovative machinery or upgrade a few things because the new squat racks aren’t a one size fits all solution. Since the previous manager left, NO ONE really walks the floor to check on guest unless they are giving a potential new member a tour. The entire cable machine area is on its last leg, literally each lever is falling apart. Please do better FP!

*DO NOT DO IT* This is a SHADY gym with unethical business practices. There's alot of people with complaints about their cancelation nightmares. GOING BACK OVER 7 YEARS. Wish I had paid attention Open a membership two yrs ago (2020) and had to discontinue because I relocated to a different state. Notified them of my move and give them all the necessary info they asked at that time. Got a negative account on my credit (2022) because someone forgot to do their job. Tried to get the discrepancy handled by contacting them directly, no help from management. They asked for me to provide proof that i moved back in 2020 then said they cannot help, after i sent it to them. They're now saying there nothing on file since 2020 and the nothing they can do, not surprised. I should contact the collection company and ABC financials, its out of their hands. Never got a call, text, email nor mail from ABC financials that said i was delinquent or anything. I guess I'll have to get lawyers involved because this is unethical and illegal. At this point, I rather pay a lawyer thousands of dollars before I give them another dime of my money.

The worst gym ever! Manager and staff have no manners at all I’ve been disappointed to the fullest with this gym. Machines are always broke down and it’s been months too. I have the GOLD membership and it allows me to take a guest and it’s always a problem when I do take a guest with me. It always smells like marijuana and it’s always packed. Manager is a weirdo.

This place is a trap!! All things considered this is a very nice gym while you use the membership, but the second you attempt to leave, you see the true ugliness of this establishment. The staff is kind but not very helpful, and, their supervisors will raise their voices and attempt belittle you. Not worth the hassle just go to planet fitness 👍

Great gym. Clean & the workers are always running around racking up weights that some people don’t put up. My daughter LOVES the kid center. The only downside is the No backpack allowed on the gym floor rule.Makes no sense considering most of us carry backpacks for bands/barbell pads/ankle straps etc.. Also for the price you pay (compared to other gyms) there should at least be a sauna included.

This gym has to be one of the worst gym to sign up I really suggest to anyone that is looking for a gym to go elsewhere they will look you in the eyes and lie straight to your face the so called manager (Archie.Bewasting) was no help what so ever I sign up my son for a year membership because we were told that he could bring a friend or family member for free with membership my daughter been going with my son for about two months and now the manager (Archie.Bewasting) is telling us that she can't go in with out an adult my son is 21 and my daughter is 17 and now he's telling us she needs to get a membership if she wants to go in what happened to the family and friends go in for free. They need to find better management

Corporate does their best to avoid angry customers. Managers at their locations do not have any desire to rectify any situation. Managers talk down to customers. Blame any issues on corporate. Managers refuse to cancel month to month memberships. All in all stay away. Go somewhere where you will be treared with respect. Effective immediately the month to month membership is cancelled and Project Fitness is no longer authorized to debit the bank account.

I attempted to use a free trial membership and the front desk staff were very rude and not helpful. Both were on their cell phones and didn't even great me as I walked in. I arrived early enough to take a class but by the time they finished checking me in I was 15 late. So I decided to leave and come back for a later class that same day. When I returned they didn't seem to remember I was just there I was told my free trial had expired. I never did take a class or use the trial membership. I called corporate to complain and I never do that, but that's how pitiful customer service was.

I signed up for a 7 day free trial and then I was told my free trial had expired, they only gave me 2 day free pass. Apparently, it was a mistake from the recepcionist but they were not sure. I think they shouldn't offer a 7 day free pass if they will not respect it. As far as I know, this is not the first time. Besides, people in the front desk is hostile and with zero helpful customer service attitude.

This used to be my favorite gym. It has gone SO downhill since it was an actual Golds Gym. It’s like they completely changed their priorities to please the people who take classes and the maintenance of their equipment doesn’t matter. If they do fix them it takes forever and they don’t end up working properly. Right now only one sink works in the ladies room. They don’t keep the equipment clean like they used to. You can see the dust and gross stuff piled in various places on the machines. If I didn’t already have a membership I wouldn’t get one. Or if they build another better quality gym closer to me I’ll choose that. They also cram the machines together because they are making space for more rooms for classes. You’re stacked on top of the person working out next to you. Doesn’t make any sense.

I just moved back to the area and joined Fitness Project in Humble. I must say that I have truly enjoyed the gym thus far it is always clean, the regulars are friendly and the atmosphere is nurturing for beginners like myself. I usually go before work in the morning and Vinnessa at the front desk has been there every day with a smile and a greeting. She always has a positive attitude and words of encouragement. They have plenty of equipment and I never find myself waiting. I highly recommend this gym to anyone living in the area.

The photo below is one of the many reasons I ended my membership here. There is no oversight of members early in the morning. Therefore, people take up a machine (there is one of this type) for (I timed it) 1 1/2 hours. This person also actually left the machine with their bags therefore other paying members didn't want to be rude and use it. Other issues include others taking up machines frequently sitting on their cell phones. There is no management on staff early in the mornings, therefore rules aren't enforced or adhered to like cleaning equipment after yourself and general lack of disregard for other members. I was a member for two years and got tired of it.

I've been seeing car break-ins every single day lately (either cars with broken glass or just the broken glass on the floor of parking spot), watching some reviews of when it used to be Gold's Gym it seems it's been happening since 2013, if this is happening DAILY for MANY YEARS why isn't anybody doing absolutely anything about it, there are no cameras, no private security/patrol, etc. Other than that the gym is great, I wish that could be stopped.

Is there anyway the gym can contact someone to turn the lights on in the parking lot? All of the lights in the parking lot are on except for the ones in front of the gym. It’s like asking for someone to break into cars.

I came by to fitness project today. I was having a king day and direly needed a workout. I came in and was greeted by a nice young lady. Very charismatic and very polite. My bad day quickly became great. Ever since then she has been greeting me on the way in and out. THAT is what customer service is. Jalena needs a raise

This gym is okay. To justify my reasoning, I will start with the positive. The Staff and the patrons are amazing! Great and friendly community. However, as someone who prides themselves on fitness and utilizes it as a release to support my mental heath and overall well being, this gym is lacking. The equipment is old and run down. Nothing ever works. Most of the pieces are calibrated incorrectly or rigged together by a prayer and some tape which has caused numerous injuries and tweaks within my body. I believe that this gym only gets the return business and new business because it is the closest gym to the surrounding neighborhoods. So, basically it is due to sheer convenience. I never wanted to post this but after coming in to just a chaotic environment most days there, I had to finally just voice my concerns. Again, staff and members are GREAT! However, as a business and someone who used to manage gyms working my way through school, this business model definitely misses the mark.

All of the workers at fitness project are super friendly ! They help you with your form and training. Darius and Alejandro are always welcoming and make coming to the gym so much more fun.

The staff is great but cardio machines are horrible. While they're focusing on repairing or redoing the floors, I really wish they'd get new treadmills and elliptical machines, and not just keep patching them up. It's always a hit or miss. You have to go thru several machines to actually find one where all of the features work. It's frustrating! FP is closer to my home, but I'm seriouly considering going back to PF. It's a more pleasant workout experience.

This gym is really weird and has outrageous fees, didn't even know they had free pass to try out the gym, staff was really vague when it came to explaining and introducing the gym.when I went to cancel my membership it was $100 to cancel. Not only that but their gym equipment brands are so outdated and for the price is kinda outrageous. Had previously went to Fitness Connection and that place is probably better for fraction of the price.

Great gym and very clean. I've been coming to this gym for over 6 years. What I love about the Humble location is that the staff is very friendly, professional and customer driven. Everytime I enter the gym, I am greeted by my first name. Shoutout to the front desk ( Simone , Geo, Chris) for making me feel valued. Definitely recommend giving Fitness Project Humble a try and I love the new equipment in the facility.

I love Fitness Project! Gabriel is such an awesome trainer. He always have a positive attitude! I would highly recommend trying out a class with him. I have been there over a month and have always had a great experience. The staff is always super nice and helpful. Great quality for a great and affordable price.

Have been coming to this gym since June and I love it! Staff is very friendly and professional. If you’re looking for a gym home, I 100% recommend!

Zumba with Tabitha McGee is the best workout ever! She encourages everyone to take it at their own pace but also encourages you to give it your all. She’s high energy, engaging yet EASY TO FOLLOW! She hosted our all ladies fitness group this past Saturday and we had a great workout. I encourage everyone to try one of her classes!!

Good place to find friends! Very social people and a lot of help. Joseph has made great adjustments to the gym so that there is more space. The other gym employees are very helpful and always picking up after others. I salute them all

Cassandra!! In the kids area was amazing, she did an amazing job with my son! I had to start bringing him to the gym, and he struggles with new environments. She was very nice and patient with him. Cassandra you are a great person and I thank you for helping calm him and allowing me to feel comfortable during my workout knowing he is in good hands!!! Thank you and to the whole fitness project team!!

I would give them 4/4.5 but no sauna. Reason for 3 stars is the new rule on no bags on the gym floor!! In my 20+ years working I have been able to carry my equipment with me on the floor to various machines. Now they seriously expect me cradle my stuff and move around the gym!! As an honest paying member since 2017 they need to find another to prevent “theft of equipment “ ( why they did this in the first place) without affecting serious gym members….. My suggestion is having their staff walk the floor more frequently.. This is stupidly annoying to have to deal with. Also I see many members that still have their bags with them and nothing happens…. Pointless rule!

My experience here was horrible, I signed up for the gold club membership which is around $35 a month. They charged me 18.94 twice a month, yesterday on June 7th I noticed they charged my card over $38. 1 payment is due at the end of the month and the other payment is due in the middle of month, they already took $18.94 out at the end of May so why did they charge my card again on the 7th, I called the front desk to ask about this unknown charge and she told me they charge a $9 late fee, it was actually a $19 late fee and I asked to speak with management she said he was not there and would be present in a hour. A hour passed so I called back and management was still not present, I asked the front desk about the $19 fee and she told me that my bank charged me a $19 late fee so I called my bank and the bank told me that they did not charge a $19 late fee and that they lied to me, I put stop payments on all of the payments that they will try to debit from my bank account in the future because they told me it would be $100 to cancel my membership plus they could not account for this unknown charge. Don’t let them tell you that you can’t cancel your membership without paying $100 just call your bank and put a stop payment on it, After putting a stop payment on it, the lady at the bank told me to be careful because they are known for changing there name of there company to get there money which is giving me scam vibes, I never experienced anything like this in my life. They are crooks and scam artist, I suggest you get a membership with 24 hour fitness, very nice and calm environment. Staff are understanding and very helpful also has childcare services while you work out.

Archie the manger is a bit rude. I feel like he did not want to listen to an issue I had. But the gym is clean and I hate the fact the wifi be down.

Use to come in the morning here and there but I enjoy coming at night now instead. The vibe is better and the front desk girl Jalena is welcoming and super friendly. She greets everyone who walk in or out even when helping other customers out. She makes sure to acknowledge everyone.

Just got back in the gym 2 months ago after a few years and it’s been a good experience so far all though there are a few perks of mine. That being the dumbbells. There’s only one set of 25s on the rack and it seems those are used most frequently. Also the hours aren’t too bad but do you guys plan on making the gym 24/7?

Worse customer service ever, and BE AWARE OF HIDDEN FEES. They have a no entry fee promotion ... but there's a catch ... you have to do donate to an association. I'm ok with that, but they don't tell you about this over the phone and isn't published on their website. After doing the donation, another surprise, there's a $50 maintenance fee that you have to pay two months after enrolling .. why bringing this after doing the donations? why isn't that fee in the price list provided at the beginning? Third surprise minutes later when trying to pay, you cant apply for the no entry fee promotion if paying with credit card .... only by using your routing account ... which I'm not confirmable doing. Also the fees are higher if using a credit card ... and again, all this information comes after doing the so needed donation. I'm done with this guys ... I didn't join, what can be expected of these guys if from the very first day, they are hiding fees, important information and are pushing you to join by doing a donation before giving you all the info.
