Amazing. Simply one of the most beautiful places in the world, a perfectly curated snow globe of natural beauty, filled to the brim with thousands of butterflies, dozens of species of plants, and even a few turtles and quail. The shining gem and star of Callaway Gardens, definitely worth a visit.

So many butterflies! So much color. This was definitely an experience I’d suggest if visiting La Grange, GA. There is actually a lot to do while here but didn’t get the chance because I spent so much time in the butterfly gardens. We ate at the little restaurant near the golf courses and it was great for something to eat without having to leave the property.

Cecil B.Day Butterfly Center is a small but amazing place located inside Callaway Gardens. You can witness variety of colorful butterflies flying around and some pretty flowers. It’s fun for all ages but can get warm pretty quickly. When we visited in summer it was quite hot inside. They had some enchanting flower topiaries outside.

It was incredible. My sister & I went and must of spent 2 hrs in there. We did several laps and seemed to find a new species each time. They have a display of hatching crystalis. My only suggestion would be a 5x7 print out with the names/picture of the different species in the Conservatory so you could make it a scavenger hunt to find them all (plus you'd know what you were looking at) We loved it and will absolutely be going back again!

Absolutely amazing experience and a must see stop! The green house is breathe taking and being able to sit on a bench with all the butterflies flying around you is hands down amazing. Highly recommend making this a main stop in callaway!

The displays in the center were realistic looking and informative. The staff was friendly. But the highlight, of course, was the butterfly center itself. Several butterfly varieties were flying around and enjoying their environment of green plants and colorful flowers. There were a couple of turtles in the water as well.

Great little place to visit each time you are at Callaway. Saw fewer butterflies this time, but there were a few beautiful birds we did t expect and hadn't seen before.

There is lots of information given about butterflies and beautiful displays leading to the exhibit. Inside the butterflies freely fly, but there are also some birds and turtles to see. I especially loved the plants as well.

Beautiful place, $3 for a 20oz coke, $5 for a bag of Skittles, $10 for a souvenir magnet... Everyone was friendly and the place is nice and clean

This is such a cool place! One of the ladies working stopped us to give the kids a sheet with the different butterflies they might encounter and they loved checking off which ones they had seen. What a fun place to visit and take some cute pictures as well.

Fantastic little place to learn about butterfly life cycle for kids and adults. Lots of varieties of butterflies flying all around the place and landing on folks. My kids had fun holding them on their hands as they fluttered. Turtles are an added bonus.

If you love butterflies, then you have to visit this place. There's benches to sit on so you can relax. And sometimes the butterflies will land on you. There's also a small water section in there that has big turtles and fish, and a peaceful waterfall. And be sure to check out their butterfly exhibits and the gift shop.

Small but beautiful. They brought out a batch of butterflies to release when we were there. My wife had one on her hand for several minutes.

Parking was upgraded and trolleys are available. I do wish they would expand the butterfly exhibit some. It's been exactly the same for over 10 years now. They most recently took away the coloring station for Kids. (April 2023)

Very nice experience. Firt time being around so many 🦋 at one time. A little warm inside but well worth the experience. I'm glad I went. Will recommend. Get for families and the kids would love it.

Cecil B. Butterfly Center is nice place we went to on December 2018. It's located in Callaway Gardens. Even in winter it was warm inside Butterfly Center and butterflies looked happy to be there. Beautiful plants and butterflies. You definitely should come and see this place with your family. It will be interesting for kids and adults.

This was so amazing. Went with our 2 1/2 and 3 month old granddaughters, plus parents. We all enjoyed this exhibit. We weren't looking through glass but actually with the butterflies. Wish I would have gotten more pictures. But sometimes living in the moment is better than being behind a phone taking pictures.

It’s beautiful places. Little disappointment is because they don’t do the finger nectar anymore. However the inside of the garden was really beautiful and you will see a lot of different type of butterflies. Also, there was Koi fish inside the butterfly garden. Kids are enjoying every single things.
