at
the
bottom.)
[*The
Peter
Principle*
observes
that
employees
rise
up
through
a
firm's
hierarchy
through
promotion
until
they
reach
a
level
of
respective
incompetence.]
The
manager,
David
S.,
doesn't
do
his
job
appropriately
and
doesn't
follow
contracts.
He
gets
paid
to
do
nothing
but
play
around
on
his
phone
in
camera
blindspots,
neglect
his
employees
while
failing
to
do
his
own
tasks
and
complete
basic
communication,
then
lies
about
it
whilst
acting
as
though
everyone
else
does
what
he
does:
Zilch.
Zip.
Zero.
Nada.
Nothing.
The
store
ran
better
while
he
was
absent.
Not
even
kidding,
with
items
being
restocked/recounted
after
MONTHS
of
failure
on
his
part.
On
top
of
that,
he
failed
to
comply
with
a
signed
ADA
agreement.
Literally
EVERY
aspect
of
it.
(Sadly
enough,
this
was
predicted
by
my
paralegal
friend.
I
just
typically
have
hopes
that
people
aren't
this
twisted
despite
experience
telling
me
otherwise.
You'd
think
I'd
learn
to
trust
less
than
I
already
do.)
It'd
be
cool
if
the
owners
could
hire
someone
who
can
be
both
respectful
of
others
and
do
the
job
but
they
also
take
part
in
indecent
behavior
through
their
failures
from
hiring
good
managers
to
truly
knowing
their
customers
wants/needs
(If
your
employees
carry
out
some
items
but
not
all,
it's
because
a
customer
said
"no".
Nobody
is
going
to
force
a
customer
to
let
them
take
items
out
to
their
car
just
because
it's
a
service
you
offer.
It
is
an
OPTION.
That
whole
"take
it
out
anyway"
meeting
was
creepy
from
and
employee
AND
customer
perspective).
The
previous
manager
was
a
known
for
being
accepting
of
only
certain
demographics
while
the
current
literally
did
the
minimal
amount
of
work
and
leaving
it
to
the
people
who
aren't
paid
enough
to
do
HIS
tasks.
Store's
great,
*most*
of
the
employees
are
nice
(some
are
"ironically"
snakes),
the
animals
are
usually
well
taken
care
of,
but
if
you
work
here
under
Mr.
Smith,
expect
to
be
neglected
either
directly
or
by
his
failure
to
accomplish
even
some
of
the
simplest
managerial
tasks
/requirements.
I'm
not
the
only
one
with
this
bitter
sentiment
about
Mr.
Smith,
from
what
I've
heard
amongst
staff.
He
is
undoubtedly
the
single
BIGGEST
reason
the
store
doesn't
run
almost
perfectly.
He
holds
everyone
and
everything
back
with
his
apathetic,
chauvinist,
manipulative,
and
hypocritical
bs.
Basically
just
reaffirming
everything
I've
every
experienced
from
men
just
like
him.
I
sincerely
hope
one
of
the
younger,
more
qualified,
and
respectful
employees
take
his
place,
as
is
how
*progress*
works.
This
place
was
the
best,
but
it
won't
be
again
until
there
is
a
genuine
human
being(s)
in
charge.
Until
then,
I
want
him
to
feel
every
bit
of
pain
and
stress
he
put
me
through
for
what
felt
like
his
sick
amusement.
Months
of
this
all
because
he
can't
communicate.
I
could
go
into
much
further
detail
but
making
sure
what
I
know
is
at
least
public
helps
in
place
of
going
through
the
effort/cost
of
legal
action
in
America.
Such
is
Hell.
⭐❌❌❌❌
To
summarize,
there
is
a
pattern
of
bigots
in
charge
so
make
sure
not
to
be
disabled,
LGBT+,
or
anything
of
the
sort
whether
you
are
customer
or
staff.
I
*loved*
this
store
despite
the
price
gauging
and
the
hoops
you
had
to
jump
through
for
decent
prices
because
they
weren't
like
Petsmart
and
Petco
in
that
they're
going
to
shove
garbage
down
your
throat
that
hurts
your
pets.
Not
anymore.
Anyway,
thanks
for
the
trust
issues
PS+
Cypress.
This
was
the
most
emotionally
strenuous
job
I've
ever
had
even
above
wedding
venues
and
fast
food.
