I liked it here. Staff was friendly and the food tasted good. Pretzel appetizer came to me almost immediately when I ordered it. Crab cake sandwich took a little longer but there are a lot of drink options to pass the time, including some cocktails they barrel age themselves.

I came in the door and immediately greeted with a server named Christina. She asked me where I wanted to be seated which in other places they just put me where they wanted. I sat down didn't rush me too order which I love. I mean who likes to be rushed when trying to pick the right choice or anything at that. I ordered Buffalo wings and Crispy short rib 🍟 fries. Man the wings were the best I had in a long time perfectly cooked 👌. Had the fries with beer cheese OMG i can eat fries with that cheese all day every day. I'll definitely be coming back here again.

The food here was just ok. I was with a large group. The flank steak was ordered medium but was overcooked. The potatoes were undercooked. How/why does that happen?!? Potatoes are one of the easiest things to cook right. The poutine wasn't really poutine because there were no cheese curds on top, just some bits of mozzarella cheese.

Stopped in during a long road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxing on a Thursday night but there is def the potential for an amazing bar experience on weekends. I have seen other reviews complaining about cocktails but it’s a bourbon bar and they have a great bourbon selection and many cocktails based on them. Friend with me got a “Bramble” I believe it was called and it was delicious. I had a local beer that was just ok but they have a decent tap selection as well. The food was good too, we aren’t talking about professional chef or anything like that but it was the right amount of filling and tasty. The true allure is the uniqueness of the menu. They had options I’ve rarely seen before and I highly recommend meatloaf bacon sandwich and brisket sandwich. The brisket was a to go order and was beyond amazing reheated at home so it’s probably even better freshly made. Staff was helpful, they didn’t hover but were aware of us and our needs. Parking was easy during the week but weekends might be tough, there is a parking garage nearby however. Overall, highly recommend this spot if you are nearby or traveling. I will def be making a return visit.

Well made whiskey drinks and brisket. Rustic with nice wood layout, more spacious compared to other restaurants in area. Laid back but classy vibe. Excellent menu - can be on a budget or ball.

Staple of Harrisburg since 1998 always a great meal whether it’s for business or pleasure!

Food was good the service was also good. We went on a Thursday at six and the place was empty don’t know if the diner crowd shows up later or if this is the norm but I would give the place a try if your in town.

We had reservations for Valentine’s Day dinner and the experience could not have been any better. Our server was friendly and attentive. The drinks were very good. The food was absolutely delicious. I had been here before and knew the food was good so I was expecting that and was not disappointed. We would have tried dessert but we had other plans. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Parking is in the street or across the street in a city garage. Check Harrisburg parking authority for days/times/rates. Stock’s ownership also owns Carley’s Piano Bar around the corner so be sure to check them out as well.

Katie was a great server and the food was pretty good. If you're gonna go there make sure you order the spinach and artichoke dip they have one of the best. And they're soft pretzel air soft pretzels they are awesome as well.

Last night, we visited the restaurant after being impressed by the reviews and menu online. Opting for seats at the bar, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The food served was of just "good", and it came out quickly. My boyfriend ordered a Lemon Martini, the drink glass he received was quite small. Despite pointing out the discrepancy, the bartender made it seem that it was "their" Martini glass. However, during the course of our meal, we noticed an actual Martini glass in the glass front refrigerator right in front of us. We are unlikely to return to the restaurant, which is a disappointment. **Response to Owner** If I order a Martini, I expect it in a Martini Glass. That's part of the fun of having a Martini... it is the experience. :/

My husband had been to Stocks several times, I had not. We went there to celebrate a big special event..the 60th anniversary of our first date. We no longer live in Harrisburg but that's where we met in high school. What a great dining experience. Excellent cocktails, delicious food and outstanding service. I'm so happy we chose Stocks for our celebration.

I've upgraded these guys due to their communication and effort to make things right after the initial review. Although our experience as a community was poor, they made attempts to make it right. **Original Post** Can't talk about their restaurant but can't recommend their food truck... here is the brisket cheese steak and their nachos... Cold, generic, and just disappointing.

The place is a super fun atmosphere, you really got to check it out. Every time downtown's always crazy for some event like St Patty's Day. The staff is always really professional, it's really chill like the perfect spot for a date night, I hear their food's really good but I've never had it. The two owners also own Carly's which is also an amazing piano bar downtown right next to McGrath's, if you check out one you should check out both of them they both have very similar atmospheres in our super well managed. It's more upscale but the prices aren't outrageous, they always have really good beers on tap, but definitely under like 15 taps. They only have the best beer and their happy hour specials are really good. Definitely check it out if you're downtown.

Made reservations for New Year's Eve and they had a specialty menu for the night. When we walked in we were seated immediately. The cocktails were amazing and the spareribs appetizers were so tender and delicious! The beef Wellington was absolutely perfect. Will definitely be back to try the regular menu!

I can only speak to the drinks, but they were absolutely great. Service was attentive and the atmosphere, overall, was nice. A little bit more of that dressed up feeling than it’s neighbors on 2nd street, but not too much so. Had most of the place to ourselves and would come back to try the food sometime.

Our group of 13 enjoyed an excellent Saturday evening of delicious food and cocktails, along with professional and courteous staff. Among our group a range of courses and entrees were ordered, with attendees all complimentary and satisfied. Several raved about the scallops entree, my steak was excellent, and enjoyed the best bourbon cocktail I have ever tried.

Matt and his crew are behind amazing! We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding ceremony with them. They threw everything together for us last minute. We are behind grateful for the memories the helped us create! Would recommend Stocks over and over again! Thank you for helping to make our wedding celebration perfect♡

Great whiskey selection and fantastic food! Very close to the Harrisburg University campus and I can't wait to come back during my next visit!

We popped in with our daughters who were visiting from out of state. Had a great meal and drinks with very attentive staff. Totally recommend this hidden gem.

Excellent food and service. Bartender was accommodating to my wife's cocktail wishes. Parking was my only concern but we circled around and found an alley spot just a half block away. Definitely recommend!

Phenomenal food and service. Got the crab cakes and my girlfriend got the salmon and I don’t know how it could have been better. Service was quick and server even put our dessert on the house because it was our anniversary. Wish I didn’t live a hour away because this would be a regular.

Truly wonderful dinner experience last night, visiting Harrisburg for work again. N 2nd is definitely where the food is. Delicious cocktails, well prepared food, dessert to die for. Bar staff are lovely, attentive people. Will visit again.

The service here is not great. We have gone twice and each time time it was disappointing. If you have allergies, they are not accommodating with foods that should be a simple swap. Not to mention, they make you feel like an inconvenience. If you don’t have allergies, the food is good. Vibe is good.

While visiting Harrisburg, my friends and I had a lovely experience eating here! I had the crab cake and it was delicious. If you're looking for a great place to eat while in downtown Harrisburg, go to Stock's on 2nd.

The cocktail menu is impressive and the waitress spoke very highly of the bartender's skills. She was lying. Everyone in my party enjoyed their drinks. The food all looked incredible. I got the brisket with mac n cheese. It was perfect.
