It’s a small but quaint place. The giant menu on the chalkboard wall and small paintings placed here and there give it an artsy look. There’s also a beautiful view of a mural right outside the window. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich while my friend got the Thai chicken sandwich. I was not a fan of either, so I’ll give this place 3 stars. The wait for food was kind of long, but the sandwiches ended up being cold. I recommend trying other menu items.

We stopped by Yellow Bird for a ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, iced coffee, bagel + cheese, and beef and barley soup. Everything was really good but our favorite was the breakfast sandwich, which was very fluffy and one of the better (best?) breakfast sandwiches I've had in a while. Service was nice and fast as well and the cafe was empty when we arrived on 2pm on a Saturday. We found free street parking as well. They also have a buy 9 get one free rewards card if you buy their coffees

Great neighborhood cafe. The homemade English muffins they make for their breakfast sandwiches are amazing — chewy, fluffy, filling. Lots of good cookies and muffins too. Affordable prices and usually pretty fast for both takeout and dine in. Also features a rotating set of local artists’ work on the wall. A local favorite.

Cute little restaurant with fun decor. They display local artists work that one can purchase. I had the egg and brie breakfast sandwich. The cookies are amazing.

Stopped for lunch after a visit to the bookstore next door. Relatively large menu posted on the blackboard. Most people seemed to order takeout but we chose to eat in the dining room. Food was decent. Not expensive. Server was working the register as well as delivering food. So she was super busy.

Small cafe with a huge menu. I went for coffee and breakfast to go. I was expecting a delivered English muffin from a box but it was delicious and very soft. Coffee was just right with cream and a flavor called "coffee crack", it was great. I will definitely stop again for lunch this time.

Taking a chillaxing break at a local Cafe! Having a cup of soup and a Regular Coke.. Sounds like a Norman Rockwell American moment. All this Transgender woman wants is her American simple Dreams to come true! I do deserve it because I paid my dues! I find this establishment Very Transgender Friendly . I am a transgender woman and had an amazing experience. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. The food is Harrisburg Hipster yummy!

Great vibe and love the oatmeal bar but their coffee is brewed at half strength. Tasteless, unfortunately.

I found this place on a whim while passing through town and I can't recommend it enough. The cafe is adorable, portions are huge (breakfast sandwiches and cookies are enough for two people), prices are beyond reasonable (so you should tip well!), and staff was kind and patient. I got the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and added tomato and spinach - bread was perfectly toasted, generous portion of egg and veggies. Best sandwich I've had in a while. Oh, and coffee was outstanding! One note: it was a bit warm inside, but we are in a heat wave

Charming little restaurant just steps away from the Broad Street Market and the Midtown Scholar bookstore and only a few blocks from the state capital. Smallish with a limited seating area (less than 15 seats, but great menu of sandwiches and soups. We love this little place for breakfast, followed by a walk around this historic area of Harrisburg. Highly recommend!

Dude at the desk was amazing when we were talking about dietary restrictions. I've had great food and coffee every time I come here . Love the paninis and the breakfast sandwiches. Also shout out to Kathryn who's just the best person ever.

the people are nice, the place is cute, but the food made me sick immediately. i got a white bbq sandwich and my girlfriend got a chicken bacon sandwich. both were very dry and mine did not come with everything on it. we also got a pb cookie and choc. chip cookie, the pb one was very gritty.

This place is amazing. I’m in here multiple times a week picking up food before work in downtown Harrisburg. Really good prices, divine English muffins for the sandwiches and the ginger molasses cookie is the bomb.

Great for a quick bite. The staff was super friendly and loved the atmosphere. Lots of food options and it was good, but felt like the paninis were a little underdone.

Quaint Cafe in Midtown Harrisburg. We stopped by for breakfast and coffee and were not disappointed. We had the Turkey sausage, egg and cheese sandwiches on an English muffin and it was delicious. The coffee was also very good and hit the spot first thing in the morning. It was a little warm inside even early in the morning (summer), could be temporary issues or A/Cs not all on at the time. Definitely recommend and will go back if stopping through again.

By far my favorite place for breakfast!! Service is so wonderful and friendly. The pastries are amazing -- I get a chocolate chip cookie every time I go!! The breakfast sandwiches are all pretty good, and very big portions for what you pay for. Highly highly recommend!!!!

Excellent place for a quick bite. Unique sandwich combinations. Excellent gluten free bread! There is a single stall gender neutral bathroom and beautiful aesthetic. There are also a few games: battleship and chess to while the time away and a small library available.

Lovely casual stop. The egg BLT was fabulous! The service was friendly and quick. You order at the counter and it gets delivered to your table. The English muffin is quite large (and you may want to ask for jelly to go with it, the apricot was tasty).
