A great place of reflection. This park sits behind the state capital building, between the senate and house offices. The concrete areas represent conflict and honor those who served. The grass areas represent times of peace. It's a unique spot in the middle of a busy area. Take a minute to sit and reflect.

The fountain was closed due to weather conditions may be. But the architecture is worth seeing.

Soldier's Grove is located between Soldiers' and Sailors Bridge (the official name of the State Street Bridge) and the Pennsylvania War Veteran's Memorial Fountain and contains the Pennsylvania Medal of Honor Memorial with the name of every Pennsylvania Medal of Honor Recipient carved onto a granite memorial stone and placed in an arc that represents the war or conflict where the individual’s act to ear the Medal of Honor occurred. A very sobering experience in a beautiful setting.

Great. I attended and vended my handmade butters, oils and sprays at a Juneteenth event. It was a great crowd and I did exceptional.

Love this little area, the marble starcases surround this gorgeous massive water fountain, make sure you go before it turns off at 10pm

Great place for remembrance. Nice shaded area with plenty of room for sitting and enjoying the area. As part of the capitol complex, go check out the fountain in the warmer months. Another great historical local landmark in South Central Pennsylvania.

Beautiful place to visit. White carved marble staircase. Amazing fountain is a relaxing joy. And seeing a beautiful lady at the top of the building is the grand scheme feature.

Picturesque and comfortably somber. Great place to reflect and offer silent gratitude and prayers for those that offered themselves in a fight for others. Surrounded by old, tall trees standing like venerable guardians shading and protecting the Grove.

What a beautiful monument! Located in a tree lined, bucolic setting, it's accessible, and easy to stroll around. An added bonus is the beautiful view of the Capitol. Parking can be a challenge, though.

Went here for Harrisburg pride and the whole event was amazing. The building itself is beautiful.

A very simple area to rest on a bench in the shade, listen to the sounds of the Capitol's fountain and meditate and reflect like both my Father and I used to do here.

What a grand theft they have taken from the coffers. No expense was spared cause we flipped the bill. Was pretty but totally over the top.
