Went to this unique Arts Center in Harrisburg to see Hunter Hayes in concert. My daughter got the VIP package to go backstage. I went to the bar and had a fantastic grilled chicken salad. The staff there are great. The issues we had, being our first time there...where to park? They don't have a lot of their own so you'll need to park on the street. Check the venue's website for a map of the best spots to park. You'll want to have coins or the park Mobile app on your phone. Parking after 7pm is free so the app will only charge you up until that time. The only other issue, which wasn't mentioned on the website... No seats. It's standing room only. The staff did bring out some chairs for the older crowd. And if you can't manage the stairs to the second floor concert area, there is an elevator. All in all, a good experience!

Super fun intimate little concert venue that holds a little over a thousand happy concert goers. Catching a rising star or an oldie but goodie in such a small space...Priceless! HMAC is one of those spots that someday you will be telling stories about seeing that band in a bar before (during or after) they were famous! Ticket prices are very reasonable for a fun night out or just to expand you musical vocabulary! Harrisburg..you have a jewel in Midtown! 🌌🌟💕💜💕🌟🌌

One of the best venues to catch my favorite band in the world, especially for their hometown shows! **** From Ashes to New!! 🤘🏼 **** BEST band and group of guys there is!! HMAC is the best place to catch an awesome show! They have great food! And a wide variety of drinks to choose from. They also have a secret side room with a smaller venue just past the downstairs bar in the corner by the game tables. I was just here this past Saturday to catch my Homies. I had the Chicken Strips and Fries which came with a spicy BBQ dip, it was fantastic! And they were REALLY quick! The service and efficiency of the venue is excellent! The staff are courteous and knowledgeable. Just an all out great place, especially when catching your favorite show! 🤘🏼💯

This a very interesting place. It is beyond description but that is a great thing. It reminds me of a few old places I visited across the south to include New Orleans, La. The bar was well stocked & not expensive. The staff was extremely friendly and fast. The music room here is a bit small & the acoustics aren't great. The crowd was one of the best I've seen in years. They were lively & very spirited. BEWARE there are some of the fiercest women in the Mosh Pit I have ever had the pleasure to bear witness to. Remember, you have been warned.

Really enjoyed this venue, however the drink prices are a little bit crazy... I don't go out much so maybe I'm just out of touch with how much a drink costs.

This is a nice little place. Parking wasn't terrible at a meter a block away. Prices for tickets were great. Not a bad spot in here to stand and watch a show! The 2 downsides to this place, 1st there are no bathrooms upstairs where the bands play. Go downstairs via the steps or elevator. This sucks when 🍸. 2nd is the mixed drinks were more like fruit juices. Stick with the beer here. I'll be going back for sure.

Pleasantly surprised that this kind of venue now exists in Harrisburg. Great setup. Lots of room and the food smelled awesome (didn't eat tho). The only negative is the bar costs for certain items. $3 Miller Lite 16oz cans is a deal but $8 for a plastic cup of Guinness isn't. Similarly, $8 for a large can of seltzer is quite high. Although, the White Claw is cheaper at the bar by the lower stage which we'll have to remember for the future.

We have been to this venue twice so far. Easy to find and we never had an issue parking. They have a bar on the first floor so you can pre-game for a reasonable price before the doors open for the venue upstairs. Even then drink prices are reasonable. Good sound and, friendly staff make this place a fun place for a concert. My only complaint is that there are no restrooms on the second floor. You must head downstairs to use the ones on the first floor.

Went here to see Jinjer. Had an absolutely amazing time. The mid size of the venue adds to any intensity brought by all the artists that play. Will be going back in 2 weeks for Borgore

It was my first time there and I'm super pleased with my trip! Unlike other venues where you have to wait outside, this place has a neat indoor bar/food spot that's covered in pretty lights and decorations and has plenty of places to sit (even large groups). The only downside is the lack of a parking lot but on street parking was easy enough to find within walking distance too.

Been here a few times now, finally made it to the side stage on the ground floor last night, and was an amazing experience. Its always awesome to see big bands upstairs and having local artists play downstairs the same night. Do yourself a favor and dont skip on this amazing venue and what they give to the community/scene

HMAC was a very nice place!! First time visitor and those wings were delicious💕. Drinks were a little pricey but overall for the money I spent it was well worth it. I was there for a Pink Event through EventBrite.

1st-timer...saw Dirty Honey w/ Austin Meade...good location, didn't know it was in Midtown...liked the two-story venue...lots of room and enough bars in and out of the stage area...hoping to visit more and catch some more shows!

Surprising venue in the heart of Harrisburg!! Large enough to accommodate a wide variety of events yet charming enough to be your daily after work chill spot with poetry, karaoke, and trivia... Don't forget their huge kitchen and talented bartenders... Love love love this place!!!

It's my favorite venue in all of Pennsylvania. I love the downstairs lounge and bar area to sit inside and relax before a concert. Great bar food and strong drinks.

It's a nice place in a 'nice' part of Harrisburg. It gets really warm in there so, keep that in mind. Coat check is seemingly unguarded. They have a wide variety of music. From DJ's, music or artist prerecorded nights, live bands and others. It's pretty crowded on the first floor and can get a little overwhelming. The upstairs stage area is a bit more spacious. They do have an elevator to get from floor to floor. This is super helpful due to my daughter who has some disabilities. They allow under 21 when with a legal, adult guardian unless stated otherwise. Bars are on both floors (with wait lines constantly long).

I pulled up on a trivia night. Drove to Harrisburg from NJ and was not disappointed at all! The place was a visual treat with nice folks inside. My team and I had a drink and it was good. I can't wait to come back snd visit again.

i went to see a Joyce Manor show a week ago and the venue was nice and spacious, enough for a hefty crowd to enjoy the music, it’s a second floor venue which made me feel cautious but i felt secure after a while of being there and going back downstairs for the bathroom you couldn’t hear anything that was happening upstairs

Great place to dine and party if you want to do different Atmosphere plus Entertainment. The kitchen just need to pick one time to open and close I come in at 12:15 midnight on Tuesday to find kitchen closed but bar open till 2am which they stated kitchen open till 1am. Just don't confuse customers to pick another spot!

This is a cool venue. The line to get in was fairly long but moved super quick. Security at the door isn't there to give you a hard time. They're super friendly so don't be a jerk to them. The stage area is located on the second floor. The first floor has a bar area, some arcade style games, decent food with a good size menu, an outdoor seating area, and restrooms. Both the men and the women's restroom had long lines so plan accordingly. At the top of the stairs is a door to balcony area for anyone who needs some air. The 2nd floor also has another bar area, and the band's merch booths. As you enter the stage area, to the left is another bar. There is plenty of space. I think capacity is 1000 people. We got there right as the band was starting and we were able to work our way to the front without too much difficulty during a sold out show. The sound is pretty decent. The light rigs have room for improvement and leaves something to be desired. They have the basic color spots, projectors, and strobes but nothing that truly adds to the experience. That said, this is a really cool place to catch a show. The photo is from the very back of the stage area, as soon as you enter the space.

Great place. Saw Puddles Pity Party. Payed for meet and greet. Bummed cause was never told to there 1.5 ahead. Only email received was doors open at 6pm. So didn't get to meet him. Beer alittle high. But positives all the way around besides. Good view,sound...

First time here. I go to a lot of metal shows in the MD/DC area. The show tonight started over an hour and a half late and one of the opening bands couldn’t play. “House soundboard issues”. Very disappointed. Entering into the venue was very disorganized. They also have a TON of security in the crowd… which I haven’t seen before. Completely unnecessary. Won’t be coming back. If you’re in the Harrisburg area, make the drive to Baltimore to see cool shows instead.

We visited to see The Menzingers and Ramona perform. From the outside, it looked like a frat house in full party mode... inside was a huge bar and seating area on the first floor and an enormous auditorium upstairs. Really was a terrific venue!

Went there last Saturday from Jersey and wanted to go to a show as an early birthday present for myself. Very nice place, love the vibe there. The show I saw was pretty good. Unfortunately I was only there for a short time cause I went a little over my limit. The people that worked there saw that I wasn't feeling well and they all took me to the back and were watching over me until I felt better. They were very kind to me. Security was very professional. One of the best places I've ever been to. Definitely plan on coming back here again. Thank you guys for being helping me out. They really do take care of their customers.

What an awesome venue! We have been there twice now, once for BTBAM and once for Apocalyptica, both were great! Very intimate setting.

The performers were spot on awesome but the venue and parking could be better. Lucky enough to find parking a 3 minute walk away, no seating except a handful of handicapped got a chair on sidelines. $25 at the door ticket, $6 for a redbull but needed to get through 3 bands and the drive home. Lol I recommend getting there early to find parking in the city.
