We stopped in here for a coffee and a spiced chai tea. The coffee was good and was very smooth. The chai tea was a little underwhelming though. It seemed to be more almond milk than chai tea and there wasn’t much flavor to it. Cool vibes in the place though.

The coffee was good and the location is cute, but when we walked in and said hello the 3 people working there didn’t look up or say hello back, they just kept talking to each other. The barista in particular wasn’t very nice and sort of just ordered us where to stand. They took our order and continued with their conversation. We said thank you when we got our coffee and left and same thing, no response. Not friendly at all.

Stumble in on a visit to the Capitol. The staff was very welcoming and nice. I ordered a iced mocha. It was top notch. Just about perfect for my taste. Nice and bold! I wanted another!!

Cozy and welcoming coffee shop right in the heart of downtown Harrisburg! Staff is knowledgeable and approachable for their coffee and tea. Service was quick and delicious.

Great service, amazing vibe, and quality coffee. They weighed every shot that they pulled which is some serious attention to detail.

Barista Jo served one of the finest cups of latte to date. Seriously though Vanilla latte is her weapon of choice. It was fire. The first layer was a frothy, sweet vanilla that’ gets your attention. Then you sip on the the rest of the latte…the sweetness smoothed out and your getting that nutty flavorful latte. Finally your life has changed. The end.

I want to say that I have been in coffee shops all across the US and have usually encountered the friendliest and most interesting baristas. However, I had a very strange experience here. The coffee was good. However, the service was not friendly at all. The person who worked there (perhaps a woman, but don’t want to misgender) was definitely nicer. They at least engaged w me when I asked for recommendations. The male (again, unsure how they identify) was kind of short w me and rude. As someone visiting who was clearly never there, I think you could be a bit more engaging w the customer. He just kept turning back to the other person discussing stock etc. It struck me as pretentious unnecessarily. Plus, the shop was empty on a Saturday mid day, which I found odd. It has great reviews though, so it was weird. I had the NOLA, it was pretty good. I thought the vibe was cool and funky 70s art deco. Could be a cool place to hang out if they work on their engagement w customers.

I’ve heard great things about Little Amps, and they didn’t disappoint. I tried the Horn of Plenty, which I believe is a seasonal latte. It has allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon (if I recall correctly!). Unfortunately their only milk alternative is oat milk, but it was pretty good. They have cute merch and their own coffee beans. They also have a small selection of vinyl records. Decent amount of seating too! This location doesn’t serve food, but I was advised that the Green street location has options.

I went here before they moved, so they're a bit different now. But I do really love their coffee! I do wish they had a few more unique drinks of their own though. But their coffee is wonderful!

Lovely little coffee shop where you can also get nice pastries and bagels in a great location. If you want you can sit outside and see the capitol building or walk down the street and walk along/sit beside the river on a nice day. They were running low/ran out of bagels when we got there so you might need to get there early in the morning to enjoy them!

Wow! A great local coffee shop! With the vibe of a great local coffee shop! What more can you ask for! Plus, if your interested in historic views step out side of this establishment! 🔥🔥🔥!! The drink selection was amazing the barista explained everything and made suggestions with the knowledge of a Master Chef judge “the nice one.” Pull for your enjoyment and impress your mate!

Great coffee. Small selection of pastries but they were high quality. Very chill vibe and lots natural light without feeling like I'm staring into the sun. 10/10, would hang out here all day drinking coffee and people watching while pretending to read Infinite Jest.

I don't usually review places but I just had to say how awesome this place is. All the employees are wonderful. The barista making the drinks was spectacular. Hands down the best Matcha latte I've ever had. Can't recommend this place enough.

It's a hidden gem! I ordered a mocha latte and it was just too perfect. Not too sweet not too bitter. It's a minimalist and cozy coffee shop. I love it.

State Street Amps. Coffee is killer! Not my favorite place to hang inside but the outside offers a scenic view of the capitol building and the river. Parking can be tricky depending on when you come.

Little Amps has been my “go to” spot for coffee in Harrisburg for around 5 years now. In my opinion, you’re not going to find a better cup of coffee or espresso in the City of Harrisburg. There is always a diverse group of Patrons that frequent the shop on State Street which provides a very welcoming and friendly environment. Whether you want to telework, have a causal conversation, or simply want to just be independent, you can do all at your own accord. The staff is also just as welcoming as the ambience. Even during normal “rushes” they maintain a level of professionalism, politeness, and efficiency. Great place/coffee shop overall!!

My 'little' pit stop between my apartment up river and my family in Philly. Both locations are nice, but this is my go to- this one is light and airy, and has a bit more space to settle in, and if needed, to park.

Not only was the staff of two giving weird vibes but the coffee was not good. I understand that every coffee shop is different and ingredients differ but the dirty chai I ordered WAS NOT a dirty chai. It was just plain iced coffee. I don’t really understand all the five stars when it’s just another subpar coffee shop.

Good coffee and good vibes here, immediately outside the Capitol Building. Inside is cozy and littered with an assortment of records available for purchase, as well as some local art, giving the place a real neighborhood element. Staff has always been friendly and helpful when I have passed through. They have seats outside that are great to take in this beautiful corner they occupy in downtown Harrisburg.

Cute place, great staff and drinks. Can't speak to the coffee since I opted for a honey ginger turmeric tea to settle a hangover — it was delicious and my husband enjoyed his coffee.

I'm sadly, very unimpressed. I wanted so badly to like this place. I saw online that they sold vegan cheeses, but they were out of stock. My wife grabbed a kombucha and I wanted one as well, but they were out of stock. I ordered a coffee and it was funky. It tasted old, was very acidic and burnt which led to an imbalanced and very unpleasant experience. The sleeve that slides over the cup didn't work and the cup was very hot and I had to hold the cup in a funky way to not burn my hand. The inside of store was off as well. It wasn't hip, so much as a poorly executed version of a cliche and it comes across as boring. It feels like it just kind of is there. I walked out really wondering what the little amps brand was about. It didn't grab me. Is it about minimalism? Is it a spartan chic spot for broke inner city millennials who can't afford Starbucks? I just couldn't work it out why I would choose little amps coffee as the spot for me. Hopefully they invest aggressively in developing a cohesive and effective brand strategy, marketing, decor, vibe, quality control and inventory. If all little amps are as unimpressive as this one, you don't need three locations within 3 square miles. You need one solid location done exceptionally well. Just my two cents. Guess I'm stuck running out of town for my vegan cheeses.

Enjoyed a Nitro Cold Brew at this little corner shop with nice views of the nearby churches and Capital buildings.

The staff was helpful in assisting me while I chose a coffee that would be unique, flavorful, and exquisite. However, the atmosphere lacked a certain warmth that is deserving of a 5-star review. Great coffee and clean establishment- would come here again!
