Cannot recommend enough!! We are staying a couple blocks away and have eaten there as much as we can, and bought food for other meals. The atmosphere is super cool, and the delicious smells are beyond words. Lil’s Pretzels were the best I’ve ever had and very reasonably priced. The Many Blessings Bakery also had some great stuff! We were able to get fresh bread, veggies, and meat for our other meals. Amazing food, fair prices, and friendly people.

I knew that when I hit Harrisburg I HAD to stop in here! Such a cool place with some very interesting vendors. I got a Shroomsteak from a vendor with Organic Vegan food called Ward of Health and it was DELICIOUS! I highly regretted only getting a half order. I also stopped by a smoothie place called Honeybush and all I can say is YUM! It was an amazing smoothie and I loved seeing them pull out an entire mango and start peeling it to throw in the blender. All fresh ingredients! I'm so happy I made time to stop in here- if I lived in the area I would go here all the time, both for the food vendors and the produce, seafood, and meat counters!

Meh....it was decent. I got there after 8am and a lot of booths were not open yet. Some were just beginning to set up and a lot of spaces were just empty. There are a few gems(which get 5 stars) at the end, opposite the restaurant building on each side, one is great for donuts, the other for sandwiches and salads/dips. In the middle there are a couple good fruit/veg vendors. One in the middle and one near the opposite entrance.

Visited Broad Street Market in Harrisburg on a Friday morning and it wasn’t crowded. We love public markets and this one does a great job at uniting everything that a market offers: variety of food and crafts in many display. If you’re hungry and want great food, make sure to stop by. It’s a place where you won’t spend tons of money and will be served a huge portion.

I have always enjoyed the Broad Street market. The vendors are amazing! Every time I always look for the same stuff that I absolutely can’t live without. But there is always something new for me to try. Today whenever I go in there the employee was being super rude, basically telling me I had to leave because they were closing. It’s fine if you tell me that I have to leave but you don’t have to do it so ignorantly! The vender was trying to hurry and get us out. This lady was circling around us and running her mouth. I am adult I do not need yelled at! The nasty way this lady with a white streak of hair treated the vendors! Unbelievable! I would never be a vendor there if I was them! All we ask is to be treated with respect.

Our whole family loves the market. Super good international food choices and the whole place soon becomes family. Great local produce, beautiful flowers, coffee, bakery, meats, donuts and more. Bring your own bags if you can. ****2nd half of the market burnt down a few months ago. Tent is up but not open yet as of 11/28/23 the restaurants are still there and the market needs our support. Veg out! Has a small space in the first building facing 3rd street, (local organic farm). Great food.

The broad street market is a great venue in downtown Harrisburg. There are two large buildings with vendors. There are vendors from crafts to food to plants. There is usually farm produce as well. I love the thai restaurant here and the beer garden area. The stands are reasonably priced as well. I enjoy the cure outdoor sitting area they have outside. It does get packed so I get there early!

Not what I expected. Lots of prepared food. Quite a lot of fresh meat and cheeses. Hard to tell what was farm raised and what was buy sell. Did find a farmer outside with small stand. Probably would not return.

If this market is open when you are nearby - GO! We always found ourselves wishing Broad Street market was open because it’s so lovely. Wander around the 2 buildings of stalls and shops. Stumble upon some live music or street performance while in between the two buildings.

Tried the 4 bean chili and a lettuce wrap from Manderolas. Delicious! They opened in April 2022 in the building closest to N. Third St. Not yet listed in the Broad Street Market directory.

First time visitor from Connecticut. Was a unique experience, which reminded me very much to Quincy Market in Massachusetts. A large variety of offerings from food to flowers and everything in between. Large crowd early in the morning which is a good sign. All the vendors had clean areas, and the few places we did buy from we were happy we did ( all food related products ). Parking was a gamble but is to be expected from what we were told. If we are in the area again we will be stopping by for sure.

Came to broad street market on a Friday afternoon around 4pm, almost half of the vendors already finished their daily business. The food was over-priced in my opinion, especially when I saw a full green onion with the roots in my dish LOL

Such a great variety of local options! We ate lunch here and took home things to eat later—from fresh produce to donuts. The only thing that would make it better is if there were fans or air conditioning.

Overall the market is great. At the moment there are only a couple of stalls I like. The cheesesteak guy, elementary coffee, and the Jamaican place are worth going to. I work close so I go from time to time when I can. Its not worth going to if you are far away but if you are in the area when they are open then its worth the effort.

What a gem! One building with food stands catering to African cuisine to cheesesteaks and everything in between. The other building has a farmers market with bbq, cheese, veggies, a butcher, and on and on. A true gem for Harrisburg.

It is a must visit. Great fresh food tons of options. Lil's pretzels is incredible. Even has a homemade pet treat place.

Did we go on an off day or something? This did not impress us at all which was disappointing because we were looking forward to going. It’s not in the best area, parking was sketch and it seemed not that safe even in the daylight hours. Hardly any vendors were open and the selection was mediocre. Can cross it off the list of things to do but we will not return.

Came here looking for Sweet 717. These vendors have more into the next building. A fire destroyed the other building and is uninhabitable.

My family and I love the variety of food you can get here. My personal favorite is Capital Burger. They make the best southern style grit's, served with a fried egg, fresh ham and of course, hot sauce ! The service is excellent.

Not what I was expecting. Was there on a Saturday. Mostly restaurant. No market stands that I could see. Seemed clean and friendly service.
