Simply fantastic little coffee shop! Pour over, drip and multiple coffee options. No made to order food but muffins and such. I had Saigon Coffee and Spinach Tomato Quiche.

Delicious artful delights manifest as skillfully crafted drinks whether cold brewed or foamy espresso. Rich and velvety. Uniquely spiced signature drinks makes the experience all the better. Friendly staff and edgy vibe make this a go-to cafe. Will return.

Loved this little coffee shop! What a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. There is some seating inside and a bench outside as well. They sell a few baked goods, but you are also welcome to bring your own food items to consume with your coffee. They sell bags of coffee as well and will even grind it for you, if needed.

It’s very small but it’s very cute and good to have a drink with a friend outside. Not the best for quiet or social setting.

My favorite coffee shop in Harrisburg hands down! The baristas are always pleasant and caring, the location is adorable and the drinks are addicting. My favorites are the iced mocha and the iced matcha :) (Their apparel is also so comfortable and cute!)

This place has a lovely energy, and the coffee is good. Lots of interesting choices for pour overs. I wound up buying a bag of the May Day blend, which has tasting notes of lilac and warm rain, which you’d think couldn’t be accurate, but somehow is. Yum. If I lived in Harrisburg I’d be a regular.

I am enjoying a rest stop in the morning for a yummy Iced Mocha beverage. I am a transgender Woman and i found the staff very accepting and totally professional . If you ever have time in the Harrisburg Pa. area. Stop get Coffee and enjoy an amazing vibe. My visit was on Monday 16, 2019 at 10:50 hours. I support businesses that accept all people!!!!! If i could give this place 10 stars I would!!!!

Other reviews have covered the quality coffee and vibes. And they are true! My favorite though? The staff refer to my toddler by gender neutral pronouns. As someone who wants to raise a kid who can find the courage to be who she (or they or he etc) is--I am moved every time. It is the graciousness I want us to be around and the graciousness I hope we can offer.

I have been in Harrisburg for a week with work. The city as a whole is not my cup of tea. BUT. Each morning, I drive 11 minutes to Elementary Coffee Co. Awesome. I get the same perfectly temped oat latté each morning to enjoy my morning reading. Has been my reprieve in the city each day. Thank you for being great! Also, if you are looking for an inclusive and safe space. Elementary Coffee Co. is your place! :-)

The workers are so kind and friendly. This is definitely my favorite place for coffee. It's a great place to get a cup of coffee and read a book. There's also an area where they have thrifted clothing and it's so cute. 12/10 definitely recommend. My favorite is the Hopscotch or a Brown Sugar Latte with ginger. The baristas are so cute and I love the stickers and pins!

I’ve been here a couple times and each time I’ve been served, the customer service and the atmosphere are top notch. I don’t get any fancy drinks I just get black coffee with a creamer and that’s good!

Limited seating. But cute, trendy vibe. Not open late, so check hours online. Serves the Capitol crowd and that's reflected in their prices. Small tea was $4. (Compared to corporate shops where a large tea is $4). I would only come here in a coffee/tea emergency or for a coffee date. Otherwise I wouldn't spend the money. Coffee prices were comparable to other coffee shops.

The cleanliness of the building is impeccable, I ordered the gluten free blueberry muffin, with the Rengoku lemonade tea, which I thought was very light & refreshing, & all staff members were kind. But when I caught wind of the logo being the head of Baphomet, an emblem signifying the following of Satan, I became very uncomfortable. It then made me want to find the definition of the drink I ordered, "Rengoku." I found out that it means "Purgatory" in Japanese, which is the place sinners would go to in between Heaven & Hell according to the Catholic. The symbolism alone is why I unfortunately won't be returning.

This is my favorite neighborhood Coffee and Tea place. I absolutely love the Chai Latte Tea with almond milk, ginger and cinnamon! The atmosphere is amazing and the service is outstanding! Love it and highly recommend!

Excellent, Barista coffee. We tried their Cortado and it was perfectly made, with fresh beans. The cafe itself is small and can get crowded and noisy but the customers are trendy and friendly. The 2 days we were there, the staff were struggling to keep up with the service for some of the drinks and it took some time to wait. The food is limited to some croissants, cakes and cookies but they seem largely home made and are tasty.

The coffee was made really quickly. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. It was a very lively shop since there was a book club meeting, but it was still mostly quiet

Finding a good cup of coffee is easy but finding a great cup of coffee can be hard. Thankfully, Elementary Coffee opened a stand alone shop which allows their loyal customers the opportunity to have their amazing coffee everyday of the week, not just market days. With freshly roasted coffee beans, you’ll never get a cup of coffee that doesn’t taste great. One of my favorite things is the seasonal coffee creations they come up with to match your tastebuds to the outside temps. Whether it’s a cup of coffee, a latte, or something more adventurous like the Elixir, Swamp Thing or my favorite, the Kingsolver, Elementary will not let you down in providing you with a locally made drink by some very happy and dedicated baristas. Local is the key word, so stop into their two locations and give them a try!

I think it's got to be the best coffee in the area. They take great care with the entire process starting with roasting their own beans in right in town.

I purchased a latte today. It was delicious. It will be my new coffee joint. The redhead with the pony tails making my latte was charming.

Same great Elementary Co. coffee, but in a beautiful new location. (And they're open 7 days a week!) The menu of speciality drinks also looks like it's been expanded to include more of their rotating/seasonal favorites. Congratulations on your grand opening!

Honestly the best coffee in Harrisburg. All the standards and many more, plus bites and pastries with plenty of casual work space and an all gender bathroom with a changing table. Andrea has been a community staple for years already, working out of the Broad Street Market and now Elementary finally has a place to call their own!

This is the most warm and welcoming space I've ever visited. Everyone is kind and so nice. The coffee is spot on and love the creativity. This should be your new "go-to" shop.

Cute cafe. $2 vegan donuts are great!

The shop is beautiful and the coffee is delicious. That's what's important ?. Elaborating on that though: the revitalization that occurred where elementary is located is absolutely amazing. The property was formally an uninhabitable blighted building that had a hole going from the roof all the way to the first floor. Now elementary is on the first floor with an amazing design aesthetic that you would find typically in a coffee shop located in a major metro area. I am not a coffee expert but I've always enjoyed what I've got in there and at their market location. As the seasons change so do some of their drinks which is always nice.

Been a fan since my first sip from their kiosk at Broad Street Market, and their new café location gives you the same unmatched quality of product, while in an environment that is perfectly cozy and lets the baristas truly shine in their quality of service. Anyone who can come here should go out of their way to do so - it's THAT good.

The outside is nice. Looks modern. Inside was HOT! Was sweating in a few minutes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a Dirty Chai and it was O K. Not as spicy as I would like. Not as hot. Not bad size for price.

Independent cafe with a young and quirky vibe. Staff were friendly, looks very community and arts oriented. Got a spiced latte that wasn't quite spicy enough for my tastes, but a fair price. Could be a nice hangout

Super cute coffee shop!!! I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but Elementary Coffee is trying its hardest to change that! The whole place is super cute, super queer, and super friendly! I just wish they were open later, since I'm extremely a night owl :)

Don’t sleep on this - The baristas were so friendly and made me feel right at home on my first visit. The drinks were balanced and well made and the flavors were really good - a few standards and a few wildcard choices. I brought kids and they enjoyed looking at the books and using the drawing pad while they had lemonades.

Stopped here for a tea and to use the restroom on a trip to the state capitol building (only one block away). Very friendly and attentive service. THE CLEANEST BATHROOM EVER! Highly recommend Elementary Coffee.

I have high standards when it comes to espresso and Elementary Coffee have surpassed them. My latte was delicious and half sweet was the perfect amount of sweetness to balance the espresso. Absolutely in love with the ambiance as well—it is clearly a cozy safe haven with friendly staff that know their customers. I can’t wait to come back again and again and again.
