Decent little strip mall. A lot to choose from and a very scenic view of downtown!

Nice convenient place with a lot of good stores and facilities in the near vicinity.

A small quaint shopping center. It has a great selection of food (Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Two Brothers Pizza, Chef Chen’s Chinese, Sakura Tokyo Japanese, Mexican Grille, and Taco Bell). Not a lot of shops, has a slight abandoned feeling, and the inside is a bit dim. It’s nice to stop for lunch but it’s certainly not an all-day matter.

We actually did not shop but stopped just outside Strawberry Square and adjacent to the Witicker Center at Au Bon Lieu Creperie which is this amazing little whole in the wall dining experience!! They make amazing food and have beautiful wonderful people running the place. The staff was very kind patient and helpful and the crepes were just out of this world actually the best I have ever tasted. Their homemade carmel filling is well it is the stuff that dreams are built on... once we realized that they had birds in cages outside as well as al fresco dining that was the only choice though the indoor accomodations are small they have it fixed up so cozy you honestly feel like you are at home curling up on a window seat with a lovely treat ready to read your favorite book. Once I realized I where the place was I, did peak inside Strawberry Square at the new Sephora that just opened but my mom stopped me before I entered and spent the rest of my life savings in store since the other half has already been spent at Sephora's online store. With that we left... of and on street parking was incredibly easy to figure out since parking meters are like dinosaurs only found in museums... the information you needed was clearly posted and really easy to follow.

I visited strawberry square while exploring Harrisburg and tbh I was disappointed. It has nothing in it..not branded stores or anything significant to spend some time. I entered and left in under 15 min. If you want to eat something then visit this place otherwise you can absolutely skip it. In the food court you can get Chinese food and that's about it. There are other stores in the food court but they were closed when I was there.

Strawberry square has been one of my favorite places to go since childhood. I've always liked the pizza and the chinese food. I also used to love to go see the popcorn hat players here when I was little. Lately I more so go here for the aesthetics, recently did a photoshoot and loved the outcome. I love this spot. I do miss the clock tho and the other food options that used to be available. The place has so much potential to be revived.

I've always loved going to strawberry square when I was a kid, and I'm glad I can share this place with my own child. It's changed slightly over the years. Stores move out, new ones move in. I was really interested to see that little amps moved in under the clock!

Been coming here since I was a kid. It's changed a bit, but not necessarily in a bad way. It's has several eateries inside, food court style. Access to rite aid& other market street locations. The CAT (local bus, etc.)office is also located inside.

Strawberry Square is an interesting place. Always find people being thrown out which is sad to see but there's a ton of good food options depending on what you're looking for that day. Never really shopped here, or had a need for any sort of retail options but the food court is a place that my work group visits over and over again. The Hispanic restaurant that serves burritos and tacos is probably the best place to eat in the food court followed by strawberry smoothie and Brothers Pizza. The two Asian joints seem to underserved an overcharged which is something I just cannot stand for.

I imagine that at some point this was a neat little mall, my friend tells me about a fudge shop that used to be here but it's long gone now. Now half of the 1st floor is dedicated to a school of the arts for high school students. Besides that there is like 3 banks, a Tmobile store, an entrance to the Market St Rite Aid, a bike shop, and a PA Lottery game room which I must say is pretty cool. On the 2nd floor is a food court with your regular options. My one complaint is this....every single electrical outlet has a box on it with a tiny gold padlock on it. We live in a time that people need to plug in to charge and I think it's just bad business to have their outlets locked up. Really? I can't charge my phone while on my lunch break? 😒

Love it, but I wish they didn't take out the Choco Tower Clock. 🥺 Security is there to help, they're very friendly. Lots of restaurants, a TMobile, a few banks, a UPMC doctors office, a back entrance to rite aid, and a lottery room. AND THEY HAVE A DAYCARE

Strawberry Square is just a homeless hangout these days. I pass through a lot for work. I’ve been asked for money and cigarettes. The other week I was pestered by someone who wanted me to buy the socks off their feet. The place smells, homeless sleep in stairwells and the arcade, they scream randomly at people when they walk by. Most of the women in my office refuse to step foot in Strawberry Square anymore. I won’t give any of the businesses my money until they clean that place up. It’s terrible.

There's currently constriction, but it is creating a more modern work and meeting space. They seem more people centric in the new unfinished design. I'll add photos the next time that I pop in there.

Used to work in the building. I love that they have a Rite Aid downstairs and a Taco Bell upstairs. They also serve breakfast on the 2nd floor food court.

Not as interesting nor as fun as it was. They took that cool clock away too. Quiet now.

A community staple. Not the newest not the sparkliest but a piece of the community none the less. It's great and I love it.

It's a nice location but it's main function seem to be as a mall style food court for the offices and schools that are located inside Strawberry Square.

Nice atmosphere. Good places to eat especially if you like a variety.

Food courts and sitting are available inside. Nice air conditioned space. Bathrooms are available for public/tourists.

In down town Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. There is a Mall of tranquil beauty. But the place feels more like a corporate convention center, than a Mall.

I used to love this place when I was little girl. It is no longer a mall but used to be pretty nice place to visit. There really is not much in here if your going shopping and not much for parking. Waste of time and frustration with downtown traffics.

Most retailers have closed down. It's now credit unions, cafe courts, restaurants, Hbg University,Nursing School, and State offices. The clock is gone as well. Sad to see it gone. I stopped to get something at the CAT Office, and apparently, when the lone employee calls off, they just don't bother staffing it. Typical customer service experience with CAT/Rabbitt Transit. A big zero for them! It was a wasted trip.

Nice area with shops and food court that has a walking bridge that connects to the Hilton and Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts.

First time visit. The common areas were clear and clean. A few stores to browse. There is a few food options available. Wasn't very many people walking around. It was probably more active in the past prior to Covid but that's just my opinion. I doubt that I would stop by again.

  • 2/5 Tramayne K. 1 year ago on Google
I'm guessing covid did a number on strawberry square because there was hardly anything there to enjoy like I remember from years ago... like half the building was closed up. Even the food court had slim choices. I ended up getting 2 Brothers Pizza which was amazing but other than that... Strawberry Square didn't offer much.

Disgusting place. Homeless beggars everywhere and druggies. Most food places were closed. Felt like visiting North Korea. 🇰🇵
