Wow. High-quality escape room with super fun puzzles. We did the Sorcerer's Quest, which took us every bit of 60 minutes. Plan to be back to try Dracula and their new Steampunk room when it is ready.

EXCELLENT! My friend and I just left the "Dracula" room and we had the time of our lives. The room was challenging (we broke down and asked for clues) but really fun! You really have to use your brain, but everything is layered and organized so well!! We were able to make it out (with 2 minutes to spare) and we HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Don't hesitate, just go!

We were skeptical at first because of outer appearance, but do not let that fool you this was by far the most themed room our group has done. Having done many escape rooms around Charlotte, you can tell they put a considerable amount of effort into their rooms. The puzzles were decently challenging and made us think but nothing that tricked you to go in the wrong direction. 10/10 experience

I had a lot of fun here! I did the sorcerers quest with one other person and it was pretty challenging but still fun. The decorations and sound effects in the room made the game much more entertaining. Highly recommend going here!

Done both rooms they have to offer and it's been a excellent experience each visit.

We did as a team builder with friends. We had an amazing time. It's very challenging and loved the way the rooms are designed. It's really well done.

Great place for team work and fun. We enjoyed a lot with our middle school kids on a rainy day.

Avid escape room goers and newbies alike will LOVE this local mom and pop spot. Do not pass this gem by! We did the Dracula room and loved it so much that we stayed and did the Sorcerer’s room. So if you have the time do both rooms back to back. The owners have put so much thought and design into each room. Plus the space is big and doesn’t feel cramped like some other rooms we’ve been to. I really look forward to more rooms from them!!

Sonya made booking our date night escape room really easy, and the room was really fun! We aren't newbies to escape rooms, and the room was definitely puzzling but not impossible to solve. We will definitely be back to test our wits (and strength of our marriage) again! Thanks! :)

Amazing detail with this setup! Compared to some other NC escape rooms you will not be disappointing in the setup and challenge they provide here at SpeedWayescapes! It was very fun for the family being the first one we tried. We finished with 15 minutes remaining with only one clue from our host.Enjoyed the theme kinda like we were in the game skyrim...

As an adult, this might be the most fun I've had. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible. The story is interesting and fun. I love it. Can't wait to go back with the family for them to check it out. I even got to meet the owner/designer/builder. What a great guy.

We bought a Groupon for this place because it specifically said it was good for 2, 3 OR 4 people. They refused to honor it for any more than 2 people. Got a refund and went somewhere else.

Amazing escape room!! It is unassuming on the outside, but my group had such a fun time trying to escape. It was complicated, but not enough to make it not fun. Would HIGHLY suggest these escape rooms.

I’ve done over 130 rooms and please believe me when I say that this place has great rooms! They have really cool themes and some interesting puzzles too. I would highly recommend them.
