One of my favorite places to go. You can take it easy and walk the boardwalk or hike the trail. Lots of good spots to observe nature. Always have different art displays at different times. Good variety of parking. I always find something new when I come here! Close enough to home, but feels like a mini get away.

Came to this park the other day for the first time and needless to say, it’s my new favorite park! It is BEAUTIFUL! There’s a paved 3 mile path through the woods and hills that loops around with small little trails and boardwalk trails that veer off of it. It’s such a scenic park with so much to explore. A neat added bonus is all the artwork that people do along the trail. We brought sandwiches and ate at a picnic table afterwards. It was a perfect day in the park! Highly recommend going here if you like to walk/bike and like the outdoors.

I love coming here and walking the paths year round. Whether there’s cool art or animals to look at it’s always something. The hikes are easy but just challenging enough to make them fun. I love watching this park evolve and grow.

Lovely place for a walk or bike ride. The whole circle is about 3 miles. There are 3-4 boardwalk trails each 0.4 miles long. There is also a nature center. Bathrooms are clean

one of the most beautiful places I’ve been too. It gets pretty packed early, so if you want to avoid people, and have more nature, this maybe isn’t for you. But still a great hike and good views.

If someone tells you to go get lost, take the advice and go to Wildwood Park. It's a beautiful place to wander through, explore, take the furry friends (there are waste recepticles along the way), the kids, or my fave, solo treks. (I always feel safe hiking alone.) There is art in the park, there are bridges leading every which way, nature, mountain man trails and a massive pond which houses fish, turtles, snakes, froggos and who knows what else. You won't be disappointed. This is beautiful place to get lost!

Great place for birding. You’ll see a lot of wildlife from birds to frogs to turtles. I’ll echo what the signs say in the area and say to please not to take any of the wildlife there. You’d be abducting them :( The trails and the souvenir shop/bird viewing building are clean and nice. People that frequent there are usually families, people out of a job, or people walking their dogs - all pretty friendly. There’s multiple trails to pick. There’s a lot of room for parking. Bring you essentials like water and Enjoy your time outdoors!

Neat park! Most of the trails are smooth gravel and pavement making it the perfect place to take a handicap person hiking! The water is a great attraction to different water birds and there’s usually turtles sunning themselves on logs… very fun!

Amazing place for bird & wildlife photographers. Try visiting during the golden hours and you'll get great results, the light will shine through the woods to create the smoothest lighting conditions. Glad it's preserved so well.

Nice park in the city. The highway is very close and it creates a lot of noise. Clean bathrooms, bike rack and well signaled paths.

Lovely park. Well maintained and great trails. The learning and educational center was cool. The man working there was super helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely love to go back. Updated: Gone back, still a wonderful park. Repaired boardwalk area is nice trail. Loved the little sitting areas. Even thinking of the park as a potential future wedding location.

This is a beautiful park! There is a trail to be found for all abilities. There are multiple bathroom locations. Lots of parking. Most of the trail has shade so it’s perfect for a hot summer day. The staff member at the nature center was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you love walking in nature definitely check this place out! Also everything is free to the public.💕

Love this park. Located right next to HACC, it's a treat in the city. Yes, you will hear cars (this is obvious due to where it's located), but it's still the perfect place to be when you want to be in touch with nature. The majority of the loop is paved, so it's perfect for stroller walks, biking, skating, and anything in between. Picnic tables and benches located throughout!

We had a nice walk about the lake. The path was well taken care of, and the art pieces we saw were cool. The visitors center was surprisingly good. Edited: We've been coming back here as a favorite for awhile now. As a place to bring newbie hikers, cause it's more of a relaxing walk than hiking, and as a place that's mostly shaded and can usually see some wildlife and ample parking and rest rooms We often see ducks, geese, egrets and other birds I can't name. Lots of turtles I can't name, snakes, chipmunks and frogs too! I've even spotted deer. Plus, I'm sure animals I've forgotten or just haven't seen It's a great 2-1/2 to 3ish mile walk. Not much else to ask for, but there is highway and industry noise (fyi). It doesn't stop us from coming back, but you can't miss it 😆

Love going to Wildwood Park! They have an easy hike and walk trails, which is perfect distance, not too long and not too short. Great for children and adults. Lots of shades. There are a couple of little bridges that you can look down for a fish or two. They also have arts in the park. They also have an area where you can go fishing there. There's also a pavilion with a couple of picnic tables underneath. They have 3 different parking spots that you can park and start your walk or hike. When you're looking for an easy walk, this place would be a great choice. They also have a nature center. Great for kids. Definitely need to check this place out.

Beautiful park with lots of wildlife! The trail is gravel but flat so it is stroller and wheelchair accessible. Lots of parking and a couple bathroom facilities in the parking lots.

Nice escape in an industrial, high-traffic area. We saw lots of turtles, water birds, deer, black snake. There was significant damage to the boardwalks and I hope they can repair them. Off path trails were not well maintained and there was trash and debris around. Popular walking, running or biking trail.

Beautiful place to hike/walk. Fairly flat so good for pretty much everyone. We went during the fall and it was amazing. Pretty quiet and serene. A lot of side trails to explore! I'd go here again.

Small but very kid friendly! The interactive exhibits were very inviting and appealed to families. Some of the exhibits did not work, one had lights that were out, on others the phones didn’t work. There is a great nature viewing set of windows with binoculars. They overlook bird feeders and a nice area to watch. There was a lot of literature about the area and I was able to pick up a scavenger hunt for my classroom. It was a gloomy and rainy day but the outside looks very inviting. There is a boardwalk that goes around the property. The gift shop was well stocked and inviting. Although the bathrooms were accessible and the stalls were big enough for my walker, there were no benches throughout the museum. I had to cut my visit short because aside from the chairs at the bird watching window, there was no where to sit. That was disappointing.

My favorite trail to walk. It's a 3 mile very peaceful and serene walk. Would highly recommend for sure.

Fantastic wildlife experience in an urban environment. Depending upon the season, there are numerous types of birds, frogs, small woodland creatures, and other interesting plants and animals on the 2+ miles paved walking trail. Good for adults/walking aged children. Not terrible for children in strollers, although some parts of the trail are hilly.

Well maintained paths. Very nice for walking. There is a flat path as well as one with steep inclines. They have nature inspired art instalations periodically along the paths. I wish there were more benches for resting but otherwise quite nice.

Nice place to walk and see some wildlife. A good bit of it is paved and accessible for wheelchairs. There are bathrooms as well as a water fountain with a bowl for your furry friends.

Great for taking wildlife pictures especially waterfowl. The trail is super easy to walk and is dog friendly.

Cute little park, right off the highway. Unfortunately the highway cut through the park and took away additional average. There's a cute looking visitor center but it was closed while I was there. Restrooms available. There's a very nice boardwalk, but most of it is closed for needed repairs. Seems like they need additional funds to fix it.
