Little Amps Coffee

Cafe Bar Coffee shop Espresso bar

😠 My family and I stopped in for a coffee yesterday afternoon. They were closing at 3:00 and we arrived around 2:25. The woman making our drinks was visably unhappy that we had walked in. She told us not to get too comfortable because they close at 3:00. I don't know if she realizes how important... My family and I stopped in for a coffee yesterday afternoon. They were closing at 3:00 and we arrived around 2:25. The woman making our drinks was visably unhappy that we had walked in. She told us not to get too comfortable because they close at 3:00. I don't know if she realizes how important her job is and that kindness is very healing. We were in town for the passing of a very young loved one. Maybe she was having a bad day. We certainly could have used a little kindness.

The Little Amps location at green street is a nice spot to grab some coffee slightly outside of downtown Harrisburg. This location has an advantage over the other Harrisburg location in that street parking is free. Prices are reasonable and a bit cheaper than Starbucks. WiFi was good around 10-15 Mbps up and down. Usually the tables and seating are full but there were some spots available when I came on a Thursday morning. Lastly, the baristas are friendly and quick. On my last visit I tried the tea latte for $3 that tasted like a usual chai tea latte, although it was nice to have in a cup with latte art. I also got the $4.25 Uptown Charlie Brown (menu says Uptown Ginger Brown) that I think might be more of an acquired taste as it was a bit sour

Loved my dirty chai latte. So excited to have found a new coffee shop right near my work! Baristas were super kind and definitely know coffee. Excited to check out their selection of vinyl next visit too.

What can ya say about Little Amps? It’s a meticulously beautiful, hip, friendly (coffee) watering hole. Great coffee. The dirty chai is my favorite. This location also sells some darned good breakfast sammies, a few pastries, and has a freezer full of pints of awesome vegan ice cream. And of course good tunes always. A neighborhood gem.

Older review a new account was needed. But we still go in as often as we can. Everything is still amazing. Plus they have their winter merch in. Amazing! Alsoooo..new art work on the Togo cups. Always growing at little amps! We came in and got two espressos. Surprisingly, they served our shots with tonic water..which was AWESOME! (No other shop just pairs it automatically like this) Thanks for that guys! The espresso itself was delicious, and the crema was almost perfect! They do have a very nice food selection at this location (2 other locations)..we will definitely be trying it sometime. The inside is very bright/chill..with vinyl albums and plenty of merch in the front of the shop. There is plenty of seating inside and out. I will say if you're not looking for it..you may just pass it. Nice little nook in the wall, so definitely keep your eye out. All in all it was a wholesome experience at the green st location. And the two baristas working today were welcoming, and helpful..and made sure my service dog also got a little treat. He appreciated it. *Note slightly bummed they had no whipped cream. I wanted an espresso con panna* They are 100% LGBTQ+ friendly with a sticker of support in the window. For more in depth reviews go to Peripateticcoffeeco Photo credit: faithcollinsphoto *Update. We have recently tried the cold brew & flash iced coffees. They're..life altering. Caffeine bean done right! Thanks guys for continuing to make our days feel slightly less throat punchy!

Thanks to LA for years of high-quality coffee that is so consistently good (and beautiful). Pastries & bagels are delicious, too.

Their dirty chai is absolutely perfect. I enjoy their matcha as well, just a note it does come quite sweet.

Green Street Amps. Sit inside and inevitably run in to friends or take coffee to go and walk on Front St. Coffee; the coffee is always served perfectly. Seriously my favorite tasting coffee I’ve ever got from a coffee shop. Plus dairy alternatives do not cost extra - doin it right, amps! 👏🏻 Food; the kitchen offers great breakfast sammies and pastry options. Mmm, and the two poodles bagel collab is awesome. Shop; fun swag, quality coffee supplies, and delicious whole bean coffee. Atmosphere; baristas are your vinyl DJ’s in a brightly lit, clean, and modern coffee shop. Outdoor seating is perfect on a nice day.

The best coffee ever. I travel a lot for work, nothing else compares. When I bring my NY or LA friends Little Amps beans, they are ecstatic. The Green Burrito has also become a life saving breakfast option for me. Harrisburg wouldn't be the same without this place.

i paid over $8 for a latte here and i don’t know if i’m just poor or the prices are a little wild for harrisburg / central pennsylvania. the location itself is really nice and would make a great place to sit and read but staff aren’t super friendly. maybe it’s the mid-morning slump? other shops in the area have much better service and are a lot more welcoming.

Baristas are rude and very unwelcoming. I was greeted with a blank stare and tone of annoyance when I asked about a menu item. A simple greeting or smile would suffice. I observed her walk away without a word to the next customer in line. To top it off they made my drink wrong and didn't offer to fix it when I brought it to their attention.

Not the most kid friendly. But the cheesy croissant was so yummy, even the 4 year old liked it. (I know my kids were crazy that day.... Last day of vacation. Sorry)

Great cappuccino and breakfast burrito. Yum!!! Very open and bright interior.

Their coffee used to be really good but anyone who has had their cappuccino for the past 3-4 years can tell you that the quality of their coffee has gone down . I don’t know if it’s the milk or beans or the ratio but the flavor is not there . Ironically the Cappuccino from the Italian bakery shop a block away which isn’t even close to their staple now has better taste. It’s sad as this used to be by favorite cappuccino shop in the area but it’s not worth spending almost $5 for a coffee which is not worth $1

Stopped a couple of times while visiting Harrisburg and was never disappointed. Excellent baristas and excellent coffee.

The staff were wonderful! The coffee was great! But the egg sandwich was strange - the biscuit was dry & crumbly and the garlic herb aioli was kind of bitter & out of place.

Their lattes were some of the best I've had. I was in town for the weekend and went both mornings. I also tried their breakfast biscuit and was not disappointed.

Got an almond dirty chai and loved it! Little Amps is my favorite coffee shop around so far and they have vegan breakfast options to boot.

I’ve been here a few times so far and the coffee is good. The last time I was there, I ordered an egg sandwich and I had to wait 20 minutes and it still wasn’t done. I was on break from work at the time and I had to get back soon, so needless to say I didn’t get my food.(other customers received food and drinks as I waited) If you’re in a rush for anything this definitely isn’t the place to go. I’ll look for somewhere else to go next time.

I LOVE Little Amps! Amazing Java, great staff & warm ambiance. I did an event here once as well and they were so accommodating. They also have a few tables outside too. #tenstars

My breakfast sammie was by far the best I’ve ever had. Home made biscuit just melting in your mouth. Mmmm.
