Excellent food, high quality, very friendly staff, very unusual but very tasteful decor. We would love to come back!

I've been wanting to stop here for a while, and I finally was able to, lucky me, it was happy hour! The Almost Heaven Nachos were fantastic... I had the roasted red bell pepper hummus too, which was also quit good. Especially the fresh pita chips. I did the beer flight (of course) tried all the MSBV beers, minus the IPA, and I enjoyed them all. Will definitely be back here.

Located right by the highway, great location with good views. There was a short wait time, but the service was very good. The bartender/waitress was very attentive and friendly. The pizzas are absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked in the wood fire oven. We tried the Fire on the Mountain pizza and totally recommend it. The margaritas were only ok, the peach flavored one was the best. I did not try the beers here, but I have heard that they are pretty good. Worth a visit, will be back here.

Never a bad experience. It has become one of our date night go to. Not necessarily teen/kid friendly - it is a brewey- the wait staff has made too many comments about folks that bring teens/kids. Great flat pies, great beer, worth the prices. The seasonal cocktails- also great.

Something for everyone here! Obviously great omnivore choices, plenty of vegetarian options, many vegan friendly options and even a gluten free menu! The staff here are all great and each one ensures that you not only have a good time but that you’re aware of their best deals at the time and that you know some good local options to check out as well.

We have to visit West Virginia often, specifically the Bridgeport area, and every time we do, we stop by Mountain State at least once, sometimes more depending on how long our stay in town is. We have stopped in for lunch and for dinner and even close to closing and the staff has always been kind and friendly to us. The pizza is good and they have quite a few drink options. They are not far from the main hotel area near the hospital. Always a good spot to stop in. Make sure ya grab a bumper sticker too.

Kelly our server took great care of us. Service was quick and efficient and she guided is through the specials very easily. We only had a small bite to eat but the beer and the Margarita flight were excellent. If I'm in the area in coming back.

Sure, they have flatbreads but they also have salads and I was in a salad mood this evening. The small Caesar (add chicken) was just the right size for me, with extremely fresh romaine and a ight dressing. With a beer and their wifi, I was happy. Service was friendly and the place was not at all busy on a Monday night. I'd love a power outlet at the table so I can charge my electronics and $19 for a flatbread if you're a single diner is a bit much. But otherwise? A good experience and I'm glad I got off the highway to stop here.

What a great experience! My husband and I were passing through the area and found Mountain State Brewing. Christian was our server and he was extremely personable and gave us great tips on what to order since we were first timers. My husband got the beer flight ($1 off on Thursdays) which includes six choices. We highly recommend the Apple Butter pulled chicken sandwich, the strawberry salad and the Pineapple Whip for dessert!

Despite the delicious food and overall enjoyable atmosphere, there was one drawback – the toilet was a bit unhygienic due to the installed beer tank. It's unfortunate that this aspect marred an otherwise pleasant visit. Nevertheless, if you can overlook this minor inconvenience, the restaurant is worth a visit for its delightful menu and relaxed vibe. 🍕🥗🍹

Although only 5 of the drafts were their own, MSBC was overall a good experience. Flights come with 6 tasters for a flat fee of $15. They also have margarita flights with 3 different samples (not sure what the price or choices were like). Cool food menu, great music, and nice people. Awesome spacious covered patio with a decent mountain view. Would definitely go back if we were in the area again.

This has become a go- to place when visiting the area. Very relaxing atmosphere with great patio offering a great view. Nice selection of micro-brews and flights of mixed drinks are available. The menu is limited to mostly pizzas, flatbreads, and sandwiches. But, the pizzas are tasty and artfully done with a wide range of combinations. They also have some very tasty appetizers. Be sure to check this place out!

My family recently came in from out of state to celebrate Father’s Day with my dad. We were seated on the patio and tended to by a very attentive and sweet girl. The wind blew nicely through and it was just right for our large party. I ordered the Cuban and must say, it was one of the most amazing sandwiches! Will be back to try out more!

We got the Nachos and Meatlovers Pizza and it was fantastic! Great service, great food and an overall great experience. A+ in my book.

Stopped in their newest location in Bridgeport WV. Absolutely outstanding beer selection. Great facility. Delicious food. Excellent service. Had the Beer Cheese and Chips and the Steakhouse Flatbread to eat. Favorite beer of the day, John Brown Chestnut Ale. 🌰

New brewery of several locations. Very clean and modern look. Lots of space despite being full. Very yummy food menu, well know for their brick oven pizzas. They have 5 of their own beers spanning from lighter Otter Creek to the dark Miners Daughter. Lots of other local WV beers. My criticism is major for the wait staff, very young and inexperienced. We found our selves looking for our waiter several times and having to ask for things multiple times. Awesome keg urinal!

What a great place! Friends introduced us for a 21st birthday party. They handled our loud (but not obnoxious) group of 20 with ease. We made reservations in advance for a Sunday afternoon and had the whole barn section to ourselves. Our waitress was AMAZING! She kept our drinks full and even went hunting for a candle so we could light candles on our homemade birthday cake! Portions were easily sharable and everything was DELICIOUS. The Reuben, buffalo wing dip, and fire mountain pizza were the big winners of our group! Would definitely go back again next time we are in the WVU/Fairmont area!

Delicious food. Had a flatbread pizza and the dip sampler with southern caviar, beer queso, and buffalo chicken dip. My husband had a beer flight and I had a margarita sampler. The jalapeno lime was the best!

This place has a great beer selection as it should! But unexpectedly also has great margaritas! My wife has had margaritas from all over the country and said these were in her top 5. They have a option for margarita flights just like beer flights. Well worth the visit if you're a beer or margarita fan. The food was also very good.

Excellent dining experience last night out on the patio with our dog. Christian was an excellent server and even brought our dog a treat. Flatbread and chicken wing dip were delicious! Loved the margarita flight. I picked the three with jalapeño!

We sat at the bar and service was amazing! We both got flights. They have an amazing selection! Menu had lots of options, and we ended up getting the veggie flatbread but with pesto instead of the regular marinara. We also got a couple of apps since they were half-price for happy hour. Food was incredible, bartender was incredible, beers were incredible... even the view and sunset were incredible. I'm only visiting the area for a short while, but I'll definitely go back before I leave!
