I loved it! The property is immaculate! The employees are enthusiastic. The gift shop is affordable with a good selection of rocks, minerals and various souvenirs. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I liked that there was a godly perspective on things. Never change that. The cave tour was nice albeit tiring on the way back up. This was my 1st underground boat ride. The goats were excited to be fed and looked healthy and happy. The fluffy cat came out for sunning and petting. All in all it was a very nice time with a mix of adventure and relaxation. A wonderful place to take your family and somewhere you'll feel good about supporting!

Incredible time for only $25, the tour was amazing, especially the boat ride. The underground waterfall is amazing too.

The guide was knowledgeable and answered our questions. It was fun and interesting. The boat ride inside of the earth was an experience all in itself. My only regret is that they didn't go further into the 40+ mile cave system.

A fun place to take a relatively easy tour of our cave system. You can bring young children and even baby wear children under 3 who cannot walk all that well so everyone can experience the caves. A great year around activity since the caves template stays in the mid 50's all the time. Very cool that you can even boat on the water down inside the cave.

YO! THIS CAVE HAS A BOAT! The lights out experience is done on a boat too. This makes it very fun. Highly recommended for the boat experience alone. Also they have a very handsome buffalo stuffed animal there that they wouldn't let me buy >:[ (picture included)

It was a decent cave tour. A lot of the same information and 'punny' jokes that are on every tour, but there was still a lot of good information. There is a boat ride, which I would say is the best part. They let you experience complete darkness, which if you've never experienced it, it's a must. Our guide did keep getting stuck with the boat, but we just laughed it off. We did The Plunge as well, which is harder than it looks. When you are up 5 stories high, it's more difficult you would think to just jump off an edge. We thought it was worth a quick thrill.

Amazing be prepared to walk staircase. I am so glad we went the boat ride was fun and interesting. Not as pretty of formations if you been to Wisconsin's caves but the journey for the exploration was educational!

This place was so much fun!! Going underground and explore the depths of these caverns is one of the best things I've done in a while. The tour guides were very informative and friendly, and while I absolutely hate boats with a passion, my tour guide Amara made it tolerable. Toured with some very lovely people too - very kid friendly! I want to come back for longer tours and to get more gems from the gift shop - I can't resist a good couple of jewels and they had a good selection.

Great experience and adventure tour. This was my first cave tour and it was amazing. We went with friends . The boat ride 110 feet below the ground level was exhilarating. Our tour guide Julia was knowledgeable and interactive. The cave walls and ceiling were mesmerizing. 40 feet waterfall inside the cave is another beauty

Our guide, Marcus, was great! He had all the answers and was great about sharing them before you even knew you had a question. Good for all ages but you must be physically fit as there are a lot of stairs.

The cave is beautiful! We had a young lady as our tour guide (related to the owners I believe?) And we got a partial lantern tour because the lights malfunctioned 🤣 the joys of a wet cave and electric lights. Super cool and guide very knowledgeable. I rode the bat chaser and did the freefall (can't believe I did that!). My mom has a bum knee and did the tour and she does not recommend if you have knee problems (stairs and steep inclines!) But it's still an amazing cave!

We took several tours with this being the shortest in the area. It was nice but short. Guide was annoying and not knowledgeable. Asked if we had any questions and when asked he made us wait for the time in the tour he wanted to tell us. Just odd interactions. Guide had some sort of authority complex.

Great cavern tour.. Lots to do here..cave tour..there is also a zip line called the Bat Chaser....i watched..gotta walk up 6 flights of stairs to get hooked up..and does a spiral zip line.. Can do a gem/ fossil search from the water slew.. Little kids can do a little cave thing..which is outside.. You can feed the goats..that was fun..and they're so cute too.. There's also an escape room experience to do too.. The gift shop/ waiting area to assemble the group for time slot to do your cave tour.. Is large.... Nice restroom facilities. Cannot take purses or backpacks on the tour.. They take you downstairs ..watch a short video..then on to the cave.. A LOT of stairs..winding..curving..and lowering your head.. There is a river in the cave..that you also take a short ride in a many person boat. Room to accommodate all in your tour group. I've been to several caverns/ caves.. It was nice..but as I said ..A LOT of stairs..

The cave itself was nice and the boat ride was interesting.. We liked that this cavern was a relatively new discovery and featured ice age fossils of bears, peccary and fishers, which was quite spectacular. Half the tour is taken by boat and while the cavern didn't offer many stone formations, it did offer interest in the history of cave dwelling animals. The tour guide was nice, as was everyone that worked there.

We took the boat ride tour and it was really nice. The guide was very knowledgeable and professional. It may be harder for some to hear in the back of the line though. The grounds is very nice and they offer some additional activities, such as sifting for gems, pet/feed the goats, escape rooms, and a ride that you get latched into and hang as you roll down. All the additional activities range in prices but you could easily spend an entire day here.

This is a beautiful cave with a boat ride through part of it. There was nothing too strenuous about this cave. Parker was a great guide, very informative and entertaining. There was more to do here besides the cave but I didn't do any other attractions. The gift shop was very nice with clean restrooms.

Fun experience for a rainy, yucky January day. My husband and I enjoyed the gift shop , goats and our tour in the cavern. Mac was our guide and he did awesome!! Super friendly, knowledgeable and made sure to check in if we had questions. He made it fun and educational and we loved the boat ride . Thanks for a great time.

We were on a weekend getaway with 2 of our kids, ages 17 and 22. We decided to check out Indiana Caverns on our way. The tour was nice, some great fossils inside and a boat ride while underground. They have an area to feed some goats, which is always one of our favorite things to do. They had gem mining for younger kids and they have the Bat Chaser, which is a steal type zipline. We did try it, it was fun. 2 in our group are afraid of heights but they still did it and loved it! We purchased our tickets online as we were on our way to the caverns.

Really cool place to visit. We took the underground cave tour, descending 110 feet underground. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. She made our experience very wonderful. We even rode the Bat Chaser. Wish it was a little longer, but still very fun. Overall, an excellent experience and we would recommend that everyone go experience the beauty of the cave.

The cave is pretty cool for its size. I was traveling alone when I came by this place. I was the first person there on a Sunday morning. I scored a private tour! No one else arrived yet. My guide who's name was Mack. Was very good. He was excited to point out all the details in the cave. Including all the fossils and the crawfish that lived in the water. There is a boat ride which is nice. The only set back is all the stairs. I am sure my father would not of been able to complete the tour. Also the air quality in the bottom of the cave was very earthy. A little more than expected. I had a wonderful time here. Even though my hands were orange from all the railings and I had to use my inhaler when I got back to the car.

Big, beautiful, and informative. Lots of fossils and bones. First time in a cave while in a boat. Very exhilarating. There are lots of steps before the boat. The cave itself isn't handicap friendly. Gift shop was amazing, as well as affordable. Didn't do the rides, but they looked fun. Feeding the goats made the little wait go fast. Alex, our tour guide was awesome, thanks again!

Really cool experience. Our guide was young, but very knowledgeable and he had the perfect personality for a guide. We were only his 15th tour, but he was confident and fun.

Driving through Indiana, past Kentucky, the signs for Indiana Caverns accumulate to an almost obnoxious degree, tantalizing wayward travelers with the allure of adventure down below the surface of a quite rural Mid-western landscape. Yes, there are impressive caves below. The ticket for a cave tour is a bit expensive ($25/person) and the wait time was a bit long, but for the amount of entertainment and length of the tour (1 hour and 20 min) and cave-enthusiasm of our guide it seems quite appropriate for an afternoon of spelunking. There was a photo opportunity mid cave tour in which everyone seemingly had took a photo but it was revealed at the end that it was $9.75 to purchase which felt oddly expensive. Yes, there is also some Christian rocks lying about (seems to have a bit of a faith based vibe), however the organization itself seems pretty pro-science, with geologically accurate messaging and information. While we restrained ourselves to exploring the cave, due to time constraints, but there are a plethora of other options to explore while you are visiting - a bat chase zip line, a child sized cave simulation, and some more intense spelunking adventures for those inclined. Overall, the folks that run the mission are quite friendly and it was a pretty fun and strangely unexpected highlight on our journey.

I've visited many caves before. The cavern aspect was okay. There are more impressive caves in the United States. However, this cave has a little boat ride, waterfalls, and other activities you and/or your kids can participate in. There's gem mining, an escape room, a mini sabertooth "cave" younger kids can explore, and a ziplining activity (that looked like a lot of fun. It was closed when we went, monday). The boat ride and waterfall make this cave very unique and worth the visit. The additional activities also make the area unique because most caverns are isolated. I recommend giving it a try. Your kids will enjoy it and they will even see animal bones as you desend. Leave your bags in the car and enjoy an hour and a half tour. There are stairs. Where tennis shoes so you have more grip.

The tour was great. Our guide, Arianna, was fantastic. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The boat tour was really nice, the cave is very cool. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the boat seats face inwards, so you're constantly turning to see anything. There's a couple things to do on the premises, but we didn't get to do the escape room because there has to be 2 adults, and it was just me and my son. The gemstone mining was neat. They have a good gift shop as well. I bought a ticket online but I don't think it's necessary, no one else seemed to have any issues. The video they show at the beginning is informative.

Pretty awesome day trip. Caverns are actually pretty interesting. Didn't realize how much of this maze was lying underneath the not very impressive surface. The Bat chaser zipping is good for young ones too. Only about 3 stories high. Not too fast and it's a seated zip/coaster. Pretty cool.

The cave was amazing. They start you off with a short video giving you some info about how the caves were made and how this one was discovered. I haven't been on a cave tour that has done that before, very unique. That waterfall you see when you walk down the ladder is beautiful. The entrance into the main part of the cave makes you feel very small. Its almost humbling to be down there. Our guide pointed out the various bones left behind and explained how they got down there. The black bear and dig site were my favorite of the bones. There was a really cool marking on the ceiling made of two sink holes that made a crying face. The boat tour was my favorite part. Our guide even boated in the dark for a bit to give us the full caving experience.

We had such a great time! The staff was superb- friendly and knowledgeable. The cave was pretty cool and our tour guide had just enough dad jokes to keep the tour light and fun. The spiraling staircase was a bit tricky for my 6 year old but we managed through- would recommend!

We stopped here on our way to completing the Indiana Cave Trail. This cave is pretty new (2010) and the entire property definitely feels more modern and clean. Our tour guide was very friendly, but it was obvious to us that she was following a script. She didn't seem really open to questions, as they threw her off her script a bit. The tour here is part walking, part boat, which we enjoyed! My kids loved seeing prehistoric bones and hearing about the different animal remains they have discovered in the cave. We liked that they offered to take a souvenir photo of us. The only thing we didn't love was having to backtrack the way we came when the tour was over, but we understand that's just the way the cave is. We really enjoyed feeding the goats and riding the Bat Chaser as well while we were here!

Breath-taking experience 😬 Worth every penny 🤑 Very child-friendly too 😉 Our guide Megan did a wonderful job in the tour too 👍 We only did the mineral mining and the tour and I would highly recommend both 👌

Morgan was awesome! We had a great time today! Cave is beautiful and different from the others in the area because of the boats. Escape room was fun too!

Everybody was very nice, prices were reasonable, the short film before the tour was interesting and the guide Gail was very knowledgeable. The tour lasts about 75 minutes and there is a decent amount of walking and stairs. We have two 14 year olds who enjoyed it as well. Don't know many places you can go on a boat in a cave.

Morgan was great during our tour. Witty, joyful, and very knowledgeable. Plus she has so much energy. Thank you Indiana caverns and thank you morgan. The tour was beautiful
