I
overall
enjoyed
my
time
spent
at
Harrison
Station
(2017-2019)
and
it
will
always
hold
a
special
place
in
my
heart
as
it
is
where
I
first
brought
my
daughter
home
from
the
hospital
and
spent
some
great
"firsts"
at
as
a
mother.
The
amenities
were
nice,
the
maintenance
crew
members
consistently
responded
to
issues
promptly
and
were
always
friendly.
The
demographic
within
the
building
is
mainly
Indian.
Many
of
the
families
have
their
in-laws,
grandparents
living
with
them
or
in
units
beside
them
and
they
frequently
would
congregate
in
the
lobby
areas
in
the
evening.
It
was
nice
to
meet
many
of
the
mothers
-
some
of
whom
had
only
been
living
in
this
country
for
a
short
period
of
time
and
had
some
very
interesting
insights
and
stories
to
share.
As
a
millennial
-
I
felt
that
the
other
new
luxury
buildings
that
were
going
up
in
the
area
(Ex.
URBY,
Steelworks
&
Vermella)
had
an
edge
over
Harrison
Station
in
terms
of
the
more
diverse
demographic
as
well
as
more
on
trend
offerings
for
the
community
(Ex.
community
events,
creative
social
media
inclusion,
curated
community
aspects).
The
biggest
downside
for
me
and
the
cause
for
us
leaving
was
the
presence
of
drugs
/
smoking
in
and
around
the
building.
On
several
occasions
I
witnessed
men
exchanging
drugs
at
both
of
the
back
doors
while
walking
my
dog
late
at
night.
(We
soon
came
to
find
just
months
after
leaving
that
my
initial
instincts
were
correct
and
it
made
headlines
that
Police
busted
a
massive
heroin
mill
within
the
building).
In
addition
to
these
issues
,
we
frequently
found
cigarette
butts
on
our
outside
deck
area
from
the
apartment
above
us
smoking
and
ashing
onto
our
deck
as
well
as
smells
of
smoke
/
marijuana
filling
a
few
of
the
hallways
and
door
areas
on
numerous
occasions.
