My best friend and I went for a coffee and bagel thinking this would be interesting, seeing how we've never been. To our surprise the customer service was horrible and they messed up my coffee three times in a row. Of course we remained civil and kind to the employees because our mothers raised us that way. Maybe it was our appearance of urban clothes, regardless, one should always be mindful of others feelings and maintain manners especially in a place of work.

This is a Barnes & Noble Starbucks so they don't take the rewards. I feel the staff are undertrained and they are constantly going through new employees. They don't properly stock up for the flow of customers and are out of cups, lids, coffee or other items too frequently. I've faced issues in the morning when they open where coffee hasn't been brewed either.

3 stars because I really don’t like the Rican orange hair guy with the piercings! He do not make my coffee how I ask & is very rude!! I go here EVERY MORNING TO GET THE SAME damn coffee, no reason why my coffee shouldn’t taste the same! I won’t go there when certain people on shift

The coffee is out of this world!! They where quick and efficient with both my orders. They did a spot on job making my coffees. Plus, the staff is very friendly and patient.

Friendly service and great atmosphere! Although it's in a Barnes & Noble bookstore for UConn, it appears to have its own sectioned-off atmosphere. I quite like it. Will come visit again! Vanilla almond milk cold brew shown here.

Friendly service. Lovely location. Yes, parking is an issue, but it is for anybody in downtown. That’s an unreal expectation. However, having half-and-half is a realistic expectation for a Starbucks... and they did not.

I stood in line for 10 minutes. they’re advertising on a sign right in front of the store new coconut latte only to find out they don’t have coconut milk today. why would they put the sign out very aggravated I wasted 10 minutes of my lunch hour. poor service too, the girls are standing around talking instead of helping the 10 customers in line

I’ve come here a few times out of convenience and all the people who work here are super sweet, truly. But the drinks are terrible, like actually undrinkable. I ordered a drink today and I took two sips and threw the rest in the trash, it wasn’t just burnt espresso, their machine must need a deep clean or something because it was actually vile. Those two sips were enough to turn my stomach and make me gag. Literal worst espresso drink I’ve ever tasted and I didn’t want to make a fuss because they employees really are so nice, but the drink was really awful.

The green washed out hair employee at this Starbucks should be fired right away!! Her attitude is horrible, and it is a disservice to the customer!! I have never been to a place where they didn't have an item I wanted and this employee tells me "If I don't like it, you can just leave." Then walks away as if I don't have other options??? Make it make sense? I'm surprised this Starbucks will have an employee like this working here. I am grateful for the cashier for being kind and giving me other suggestions. While the other one with green hair sulks as if she wants to be home!!
