The rooms were large with a microwave and fridge. The beds were uncomfortable. The desk clerk was accommodating and offered us extra pillows, blankets, and towels. The pool was a nice addition as was the hot tub. I liked the baseball theming in the rooms. For the low price I was more than happy!

No complaints. Room was clean, breakfast was good, newly updated. Good location. Easy to get to and within walking distance of a cafe and grocery store. Friendly staff.

Stayed here while visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame, and I supect most people who stay here do the same as well. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, especially after a long drive, and the indoor pool and hot tub were awesome bonuses. The included breakfast was above average and satisfying. Most hotels with "complementary " breakfast really cut corners in this department, and while this was not gourmet, I was not expecting that either. Eggs, potatoes, sausage, waffles and pancakes, cereals, and juices were all tasty and plentiful. Big hit with the kids as well. Friendly and attentive staff. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Cooperstown.

Booked last minute since my husband was an umpire at the week 5 games and we wanted to watch for a few days. It was a 5 minute drive to the park, and about 15 min or less to the hall of fame and shops! The hotel was clean, room was well kept and house keeping even came in and tidied up and replenished towels the verynext day! The food was decent for breakfast. The curb appeal could be better. In fact, when I pulled up, I wasn't sure what to expect based on that. The pool was just ok, my girls weren't very impressed so they didn't use it and they are 11 and 7. It's definitely a good option for families with players playing at the park and if you are there to check out the sites.

The location is nice, very close to everything you need. The hotel itself was in good condition, the interior was also decent enough. The rooms are nice! But could use some more updating. Walls are paper thin though just an FYI. The free breakfast was ok! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Overall not a bad hotel if you’re looking to be in Cooperstown at a decently priced hotel.

Pretty decent hotel, but boy do they charge for their location. Super convenient for the baseball tourism, but crazy marked up prices as a result.

The hotel and breakfast were great, my kids loved it. I took one star off simply because the pool was out of order when we visited. We would definitely return and hopefully the pool will be fixed by then. Edit: we came back and the pool was fixed!

Manager Jeremy, which I doubt was his name since they do not sign any of their replies with a name other than Hotel Manager, was rude and an outright liar! We asked for a late check out as we were travelling with my 90 year old grand mother, and he denied us even 1 hour extra. He claimed the hotel was sold out on a Sunday, but when I went online I was able to reserve several rooms on the Best Western website. As a Gold rewards member I was shocked at the condition of the hotel as well. Lobby and breakfast floors which are buckling, dirty pool, hair in the rooms, stains on sheets, call the front desk and the phone just rings for ever before they answer, stating room numbers out loud at check in. Overall I would avoid this facility as it is not worth the money and they have no desire to provide any sort of customer service.

This hotel was well under my expectations. When we got there. It was under construction which it didn’t say was happening on the website. The lady at the front desk was nice enough. When we got into the room though, the curtains were shredded and the bed sheets were stained. There were also a lot of hair under the pillows. The floor was disgusting and there were brown smears on the toilet seat. It smelled like it hadn’t been working in years. I am very disappointed in this stay.

For what it is, this is an excellent place to stay while in Cooperstown. Not a 5-star, but everything was clean, and everything worked. Staff was great.

The service was amazing! The girls at the desk deserve a raise! The pool and hot tub were nice, clean. The rooms were... Okay. Not terrible but not great. The beds were (personally) too hard and uncomfortable, and the room had a very stale smell to it. The view was incredible from our room. The breakfast wasn't bad. They had eggs, bacon, waffles, everything you can think of to toast, oatmeal etc. One thing to note, the walls are very thin. You can hear everything around you. All in all, I'd probably stay again for a single night

A wonderful place to stay when visiting Cooperstown. It has a nice pool and exercise room and a hot breakfast. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. It’s a few miles outside of town but worth the drive.

Only a 7 or 8 minute drive to Baseball HOF, after unloading 4 bags into hotel we were told we were in a different building. Breakfast is just OK.

For the price point, this hotel excelled. The rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. But where this hotel really shines, is the staff. The lady at the front desk cheerfully helped us switch rooms when a mistake was made (by me). She quickly made some changes and helped our family be comfortable. The lady who ran the breakfast was also wonderful. She kept everything full and hot. One of my kids spilled an entire cup of pancake mix on the floor, she refused to let me help clean it up and insisted that it was not a problem. She is absolutely a gem. Thank you for a great stay!

Our room was very neat, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a nice continental breakfast in the morning and the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. Checking in and checking out was quick and easy.

I wanted to give this hotel a higher rating but I just can’t given our experience. Initially, everything seemed okay. But we slowly started noticing some things, which are listed below. Some of these were more of an inconvenience than others. - It REAKED of smoke. We got a non-smoking room but we could still smell it. It was honestly nauseating. - The pool and jacuzzi looked meh and like they weren’t on or accessible. - The shower head looked like it had a build-up of hard water or soap scum or something. - The water lever was loose and you couldn’t really tell what you were adjusting it to. - There’s only one ledge in the shower and everything you place on it just falls right off. - The sink in the bathroom is at thigh level, which is very short. If you want to wash your face in the sink and you’re taller than 5’6” good luck! - Netflix didn’t work on the TV even though the option was there. - The beds were very high. If you’re short, they’ll be difficult to climb into. - No slippers. - You can hear everything going on in the hallway and UPSTAIRS… .. That was the worst part, the upstairs guests. We were on the first floor and someone checked in the second day we were there. The second they got into the room all we could hear was their stomping. No, not just walking around, stomping. If someone told me they were bowling upstairs, I’d believe it. They were stomping back and forth across the room for HOURS and slamming things. I’m sorry, but what the hell are people doing just walking back and forth for hours on end?? We ended up complaining to the front desk and we were told there was nothing they could do. We asked if we could switch rooms and they said they were fully booked somehow. The next day, at 6:30am, the Stompingtons were back at it again. For the next 2 hours, at least, they resumed their walking back and forth. What. The. Hell. It sounded like they were dropping bowling bowls over and over. I know the hotel isn’t causing this, but it is responsible for doing something about it. They really couldn’t even tell them to keep it down? They said “we don’t know who’s above you” like what? Even I do! It’s on the floor map! You SHOULD know. They just didn’t bother checking. And apparently you need multiple complaints for them to do anything or send security. Which is rubbish, since not everyone is going to want to complain. And we honestly can’t even believe nobody else complained yet, because the walls were SHAKING. Long story short, this was not worth the headache. Next time we’ll pay more and stay elsewhere just to avoid this. The only good things about it were: the fact that it was conveniently located (it was just a 7 minute drive into town) and the beds were decent (with good pillows).
