I had a tennis lesson, and the pro showed me a technique that involved a bigger hip turn, which involved more movement by bigger muscles. The technique is effective, but I was left with a muscle that was still sore after a week. Immediately after a one-hour session with Ally (my first professional massage in years), the pain was gone. Yes, really! Ally was wonderful, and I will definitely be getting more massages from her in the future.

This was probably the best massage I've ever received. The room was clean and smelled nice, but wasn't overly fancy. The massage was very helpful and relaxing. Ally focused on my problem areas (neck/shoulders) like I requested. She has a really good understanding of anatomy, and was able to work the muscles to make this a productive, yet calming massage.

Had a FABULOUS 1hr massage today with Ally- first time at HTM and I would definitely go back. The office and building are pretty basic, but the massage was incredible, everything is very clean, and the online scheduling system is a plus. When I met Kim D. for the first time, I simply gave myself over to her—like when you board a plane and you have to trust the pilot completely. My instincts were not misplaced. I told her what types of exercise I do, and what I had been doing most recently, and she tailored the massage to those muscle groups. Received a gift of a massage, so as a first-timer to HTM, made an appointment with the available therapist, Ally Cruikshank. Such a treat! Ally is the nicest person, and excellent at massage. I had a "relaxation" massage, as I didn't have any physical ailments in particular, and it was a truly de-stressing experience. A big bonus: after working on each body section, she wiped the massage oil off with a warm, moist towel, so by the time I left, I didn't feel like a human grease-ball, as I normally do after a massage. I will definitely be going back!
