The most disappointing experience The host was the worst. She was really unfriendly and aggressive from day 1. She was not helping with any of our problems and apparently has problems with everyone. We wish we had read the recent reviews. When we wanted to make our own gas grill in the backyard she rejected (not nicely) and when we were offered by the neighbors to use their place for the grill (kindest people) she was super annoyed and even filmed us in a different property without our permission. Later she rudely questioned us about where we parked, if we paid the neighbor any money and so on. The house was also a disappointment. The upper floor is basically the attic and you can barely stand, and it becomes a furnace at night. We had a very old sponge in the kitchen and almost no cleaning detergent. The most pitiful thing is that when we leave they treated us like we were the unfriendly repelling ones and had the audacity to tell us not to come there again. You can see how they treat their guests in their answers to other bad reviews as well. I wish the others dont make the same mistake and book this place just by looking at its location.

Really bad, first of all, unfriendly host starting from the check in until check out. Host is impossible to chat. Felt unwelcome from the beginning Hause was dirty , suitable for Hobbits. Little story: We asked to use our very safe with lid gas-grill, she said no in a very UNFRIENDLY way .We were only allowed to use coal-grill in the common area.That is totally okay. But we couldn’t find any coal, they were also not selling any. So we looked around for grill places. While we were loading our stuff to the car their neighbor offered us to use their land for our gas-grill for free. She took our photos while we were eating without asking. Also gave us disturbing look. Then asked us if we paid for using the land while we were checking out and insisted on that the land not being his neighbor’s.(but also not her’s for sure ,also said that). That was not her business, we did not use her land for anything. The neighbor was the most friendly man. He also let us use their parking spot, which they don’t have. He made our trip more fun. Also yelled us not to come back here again at the check out. Only for being friend with their neighbor I guess. Don’t worry we would never . We regretted our decisions to stay there in the first minute of meeting you. Answering the host’s answer: Such a lie, First of all, nobody complained to us, we have never met the ‘real owners’. Secondly, you can not take our photo without asking to us. You didn’t even talk with us that night. You just took our photo from upper garden without telling anything to us. Lastly,we did not barbecue in the hause, that was Raclette, which is not different from stove. You are basically blaming the guests who did not like your hosting. Good luck in life.

It is too bad to experience such bad hospitality and feel it from the beginning but unfortunately, the host of this facility is not aware of how to treat guests, and how to communicate with them. In case you ever try to tell them the displeasure, you will be answered that it is not a hotel with 5* it is a holiday home. But sorry it is only about personality!

Stay away. Yes, apartments look nice but owner is unfriendly beyond belief. Just look at her replies to complains from other guests. We were 6 min late (closed at 7pm) and didn’t get in. She wouldn’t give the code for the key box over the phone. Talked to nice family from UK staying there who got the same treatment. Just look around and you’ll find nicer places for less money.

The host was not a host, literally, she was acting like 'hostile' to us. Aside from everything about the house, she took our pictures from the balcony of the house, without any consent while we were standing and drinking on another private property to harass and stalk us. Such a disappointment and nightmare...

Nice place to stay the night. We stayed here for one night. Check-in went really smoothly, but be prepared for very little English. The house itself is cute but the ceilings are really low, so we bumped our heads multiple times. What's also nice is the homestay also has a restaurant so it's easy to get some beers and snacks. Breakfast was also typical German. Would stay again.

It's a more than 250 years old farmhouse converted to a B&B amidst picturesque small little town.

It is really close to the lake, a very calm place with refreshing air, a very good option to refresh the mind
