A really lovely, proper cocktail bar. The barkeep/proprietor is a man whose passion and seriousness about his craft is evident in every detail, but quite well-balanced (just as his drinks) by a warm demeanor and lack of pretension. Was fortunate to have him offer me a "spicy Coca-Cola pastis", which was absolutely fantastic. Though he described it as an elevated Long Island iced tea, I think that name does it a disservice - but that bit of self-deprecation shows you his playfulness.

Wow!! Original cocktails as well as some classics with a twist, accompanied by a continuous stream of chips and very friendly service. Beautiful weather so we sat outside, but very cozy interior as well! An absolute must if you're looking for an original and friendly cocktail bar in Hasselt.

A wonderful gem of a cocktail bar in Hasselt. If you're ever in the neighbourhood, it would be a pity not to stop by and serve one of the many inspiring combinations and maybe stay awhile and listen to the story behind some of them.

Was only the first time I went here. But had a very nice cocktail. Not the cheapest, but serious size cocktail. Interior was nice. Some easy listening jazz music in the background so you can have a decent conversation. Staff is also very friendly and happy to give you explanations if needed. Will go back!

It's been a very, very long time that I had the pleasure of going to this gem of a bar. And I live in this city lol. It was still as amazing as I remembered. Drinks delicious and the young lady serving us a true pro- and it was her first day! Please also note, you get crisps, water and a little bit of fruit, such a nice touch.

Great cocktails and cozy location. A very nice surprise - a great cocktail bar. The drinks were superb. The location is small but very well furnished, with lot of attention to details. Quick service and friendly staff.

Far from any ordinary cocktail bars. Once you have been able to enjoy this craft of preparation and then the cocktails, then five stars are not enough for Koks & Tales! Chapeau, EVERYTHING is right!

You don't need to go to NYC, London or Singapore, in Hasselt there is a small and very fine bar that doesn't have to hide from the bars in the big cities! A very nice and authentic bartender and owner conjures up and creates wonderful drinks in a great atmosphere 🍸 We will definitely be back!

Nice and unique place in Hasselt! Wide cocktails menu and good service. Be aware that place is limited so sometimes is better to book in advance to save your spot.

without a doubt the best bar we found in Hasselt, great drinks and great service - Rob the owner is both super friendly and super knowledgeable - the little touches like chilled pineapple and refreshing towels give an extra boost - just a pity it's not nearer to Scotland

Unique atmosphere, 30s vibe, and great drinks!

Truly love the experience from bartender to customer, bit pricy but it's definitely an experience worth the price. This place offers great expertise for drinks and is very customer friendly. Drinks here are phenomenal compared to what you can muster up yourself. They certainly know their stuff and i certainly trust them with playing a wild card.
