調神社のある公園。 調神社と書いて、「つきじんじゃ」と読むことから月にちなんで、狛犬ではなく、狛兎がいることで有名な神社。 地元出身のかたに案内していただきました。 御朱印は書き置きが無く、神社以外の御朱印が書かれていない御朱印帳を持参し、直書きしていただけるようです。

調神社と書いて、(つき神社)と読みます。約2000年前の第十代崇神天皇により創建された歴史のある神社だそうです。伊勢神宮への貢物の初穂を納めた倉庫郡の中に造営されていたため搬出入の妨げにならないよう鳥居がないと伝えられているそうです。平安時代中期(905年)後醍醐天皇の法典に武蔵国四十四座の一社と記載されているそうです。また調(つき)が月と同じ読み名のため、月の動物である兎が神の使いとされ、江戸時代には月読社と呼ばれ、狛犬ではなく、狛兎がいました。手水舎も兎の口からお水が出ていました。 今年は卯年のためか、1月12日にお詣りしましたが、かなり混んでいて、御朱印を頂くまで約１時間待ちでした。ツキはツキを呼ぶとの言われから、幸運を授かる神社として人気だそうです。JR.浦和駅徒歩約10分位です。
