Awesome steaks went for my birthday, and they gave me a piece of their delicious cheesecake with chocolate. I had the 24oz ribeye medium with the crawfish sauce a part of my wife's 16oz ribeye medium, both were great. The bread and whipped honey butter is very good, but warning each extra after the first loaf is $2 and worth every penny! Our salads were just enough to tide us over until the entries arrived with almost perfect timing. We both had the sweet potato casserole, which has just the perfect amount of praline peacan. Service was great and I can't complain about anything. Oh yeah it is best to call for reservations if you want to get in, you can walk-in but be prepared to wait because they stay pretty busy.

Fries were a little soggy on both plates but overall everything was great!

We had dinner there for the first time tonight. Absolutely one of the best meals. Fantastic service, fast drinks, and the owner stopped by the table twice to see how we were doing. Lisa was the best with fast service and making us laugh. The tomahawk special is the best for a great date night! Can’t wait to go back!

Their boudin egg rolls were very tasty. Only lightly dip them in the Thai chili sauce though. Steak was solid. not the best I ever had, but was still very tender and enjoyable. Cooked just right. My server was very nice and friendly, took care of everything I needed very promptly. Children that were there were being very loud and obnoxious, but that's not really the fault of the restaurant, but it did get irritating. Not a lot going on in there visually. 4 stars because it was not bad, just very forgettable. Nothing that made me want to go back immediately. I would definitely recommend this as the best steakhouse in the Hattiesburg area though. But it's not something I NEED to go back to.

Food is great and they take reservations which is a huge plus. I like how much quieter it is and more spaced out the tables are than some of the other steakhouses and our servers have always been good. Taylor Reed made sure we were taken care of tonight. Make sure you order the pepper jack cheese logs!

Food was great but the service was top tier! Always had a full glass and everything was out quickly. Our server, Sarah knew her stuff! She was very informative and so sweet! We will always request her as our sever when we come to Bensons!

Absolutely the best meal we’ve ever had- start to finish! We were seated immediately and greeted shortly after by our server, Jordan. She was amazing! The fried green tomatoes were outstanding! Our 12 oz ribeyes were cooked and seasoned to perfection (we both ordered med rare and they were spot on). There’s a great assortment of sides, all delicious. I had the baked potato and house salad, which came out promptly. My husband had grilled asparagus and loaded potato casserole. He said those sides were delicious, especially the asparagus. We both had margaritas and water, and Jordan did a fantastic job making sure our drinks were filled and our food was exemplary. For dessert we enjoyed the best white chocolate pudding and red velvet cake cheesecake (yes, you read that right) we’ve ever tasted. If I could give everything 6 stars, I would. We will definitely be coming back again! Thank you, Jordan, and thank you Benson’s!

Went for a birthday party on 10/15/23. We had a big crowd so even though the waitresses may have been overwhelmed they were still very friendly. With that being said, I ordered my 12 oz ribeye before everyone at my table of 6. I was the last to get mine, as I waited a good HOUR they finally brought it out and it was cooked well done, I ordered medium. The waitress apologized as she knew that my food was given to someone else and she knew I had waited so long... The second steak was brought out med-well and cold. However I loved the Brussel sprouts, they were the highlight of my meal. I really wanted to like this restaurant because I love a good steak. Maybe I'll give it another try when I'm solo.
