Buyer
Beware.
I
ordered
takeout
from
this
restaurant
today
around
3:30
P.M.
I
chose
it
in
part
because
of
reviews
I
read
that
said
they
were
great
with
dietary
restrictions.
I
made
it
clear
that
I
had
allergies
to
flour
tortillas.
I
had
to
be
this
specific,
because
the
young
waiter
taking
the
order
didnt
understand
what
a
gluten
allergy
meant.
I
specified
with
the
flour
tortillas,
and
I
requested
an
allergen
warning
to
be
put
on
my
food.
I
ordered
my
child
a
taco
a
la
carte.
They
were
unable
to
do
that.
So,
I
got
him
a
kids
meal,
even
though
nothing
else
but
the
taco
would
be
eaten
by
the
child.
I
requested
no
lettuce.
It
was
incorporated
into
the
taco
with
the
melted
cheese.
That
was
less
of
a
problem
to
me.
Mistakes
happen
in
a
kitchen.
I
ordered
a
Carne
Asada
and
Enchiladas
Verde,
as
well.
The
Enchiladas
Verde
I
ordered
with
bean
instead
of
chicken
for
a
vegetarian
meal,
and
I
verified
3
times
before
the
end
of
the
order
that
the
Enchiladas
would
be
coming
in
corn
tortillas,
due
to
the
allergy.
I
warned
about
the
cross-contamination
danger
and
verified
again
that
the
allergen
warning
be
on
the
order
for
the
kitchen,
a
common
practice
in
a
restaurant.
I
also
requested
that
raw
veggies
be
added
atop
the
Enchiladas
such
as
onion,
tomato,
and
lettuce.
This
is
a
pregnancy
craving
that
I
have
been
having,
which
was
our
main
reason
for
ordering
this
meal
today.
I
picked
the
order
up
a
little
before
4:00,
and
headed
home
through
weekend
traffic
across
town.
When
I
unpacked
the
food
at
home
at
4:45,
I
discovered
that
my
Enchiladas
were
not
in
the
bag.
I
called
the
restaurant,
and
they
said
that
they
were
there
in
the
kitchen.
Please
come
pick
them
up.
My
husband
went
to
get
them
for
me,
returning
at
6
P.M.,
after
driving
there
and
back
again.
When
he
returned,
and
gave
me
the
Enchiladas
I
had
ordered
2
1/2
hours
before,
I
cut
info
them
and
found
they
were
wrapped
in
flour
tortillas,
and
that
the
toppings
had
been
left
off
altogether.
I
immediately
called
the
restaurant.
I
asked
if
they
had
been
wrapped
in
flour
tortillas.
The
to
go
waiter
realized
his
mistake
immediately
and
asked
me
to
come
back
again
to
get
new
Enchiladas.
I
told
him
that
I
could
not
now
due
to
time
constraints.
He
said
he
didn't
know
what
to
do
and
that
a
manager
would
call
me
back
shortly.
A
manager
never
did
call
me
back.
I
paid
a
considerable
price
for
this
meal,
and
only
one
of
three
people
in
my
household
was
able
to
eat
it.
The
Carne
Asada
was
also
reportedly
unappetizing
and
dry.
I
could
let
everything
else
go
except
for
the
flour
tortillas
wrapping
up
the
food
on
the
meal
with
the
allergen
warning
for
the
flour
tortillas.
That
coupled
with
the
fact
that
it
took
more
than
two
hours
to
"complete"
the
order,
and
that
they
requested
I
return
a
third
time
for
mishandled
food,
with
no
management
communication
whatsoever
makes
this
somewhere
that
I
can
never
eat
again.
It
is
also
somewhere
that
I
would
NEVER
suggest
that
anyone
with
any
dietary
restrictions
should
eat.
Steer
clear,
There
are
plenty
of
other
restaurants
in
town.
