The food was good but the service was terrible. The service worker ,Keandra, was very rude at the speaker when I would ask her questions. When I pulled up to the window I asked for a swirl cone and they gave me a cup. She didn’t let me know that they were out of cones because it was for my little girl. When I asked her if they were out of cones she rolled her eyes and said yes. I wanted a couple of packets of ranch and she handed me one and shut the window. One packet of ranch for two meals.

I love the Checkers here in Hattiesburg. The Checkerburger, seasoned fries & coke makes the best meal. It's just the right size, plus great prices & when I go to my Upside app I can get cash back on my Upside account. It's a win, win & win deal for me.

The staff was a bit rude plus it took them 10 minutes to take my order. There where only 2 employees in at the time but still 10 minutes with nobody else in the drive through to take my order is ridiculous. The food however was top quality and really good. The outside dining area was nice but the parking lot seemed to look a little trashed. Other than the wait time on my order I think overall the experience was enjoyable. 😃

I have recently tried Checkers many items, specially fish fry and large Burger. It's not impressive though. Fish fry is so small that I can't believe. They should think more about quality food items, even hotdog is not good at all.

The app says pickup at any window. Not true. At the drive through the guy said I'd have to go through the pickup lane. Waited in the drive thu to circle back around. At the pickup window he couldn't take my additional order. Thr app didn't list the funnel cake fries but they were on the menu & my son always raved about them. I pointed out if he had let me finish my sentence at the drive thru I was going to add that I had an additional order, and now I have to go thru the drive thru again for the funnel cake fries. I got free funnel cake fries & they are amazing! The app said there was dine in available. There is not. Unless you count outside picnic tables with umbrellas....in the freezing cold & the dark? No thank you. A few minor fixes in the APP would have made a huge difference in my rating. Not the employees fault. Make the funnel cake fries available on the app & remove the dine in option at this location & it would be 5 stars. Employees were nice, very busy but productive & responsive. Food was great, hot, lots of flavor, good greasy burger & the loaded fries exceeded my expectations. Got plenty of napkins & 2 straws & 2 forks [just me eating alone in my hotel room] and they even left off the onions & easy ice like I ordered in the app. Excellent choice for what was open at that late hour, ordering ahead on the app actually did save me time & it was ready but not cold. Hallelujah!

If you playin chess with them delivery pickups the last thing u wanna be doin is CHECKERS...it'll take them 163 & a half mins to make some small fries and and grab a juice box den will be quick to let you know kno they ain't got wings OR ANYTHING ELSE to go with that order....yall need to switch up the name in this location family....just call it crusty fries and tots...yea it has a nice ring to it. 😂

When they open and not out of food, they're great. But it's always something. Don't want them to close because the food is really good. Probably just need better pay in order to keep steady and prosperous employees. Just a suggestion. But food is top notch can't lie on that.

The food was not hot, and it was not up to checkers' standards that I knew when I ate a lot of times at this checkers location in Hattiesburg when Ms. Denise was the manager, and the meat on checkers burger seeded to be much smaller as well. The other sandwich was a fish sandwich that was not hot and had a drop of tarter sauce on it with a few pieces of lettuce. The fries teasted really bad the fryer oil had not been cleaned or the oil was bad.The outside table I was set done at frist moved round it wasn't balanced and tightened downed at all. The next one I tried was the same way. The next one was ok, so we set down and opened up our bag to get our your food only to find not one single napkin for two people eating meals. I would say go somewhere else and save your money. It was lunchtime, only had five car's came in 30 minutes if that tells you anything about the business if you don't believe my post. Think a little bit harder before you throw away your good, hard learned 💸 💰 🤑....

There was nobody in drive thru so I pulled in and looked at the menu since it's been a while since I've had checkers. The lady asked what we wanted and I told her I was looking at the menu really quick and she sighed into the mic. I decided to go elsewhere.

Compliments to the cooks!!! The Mushroom & Swiss with fries hit the spot! The fries were FRESH and the burger was hot! If they can build on this crew from tonight, they'll have a nice run.

If I was able to give it a lower rating I would. Horrible customer service. Meat felt like it was cooked days prior.

No way these wings are fresh and look like someone returned them cause one look like somebody took a bite off one. Sauce not even fresh at all.

There was an extended wait for our food and when we got it it was horrible. It was over cooked and cold and almost not edible. Not to mention that my request to hold the onions, tomato, and pickles was ignored. The service was friendly and pleasant.

Food was great. Went through the drive thru and everyone was nice. My order was hot and made within a few minutes. Thank you.

The employees could be a bit more attentive and communicate better with the customers.

I asked for a baconzilla with extra nacho cheese and when I checked my burger there was no nacho cheese at all and a small clump of bacon bits. They always do this too as if their worker don’t even know what comes on their burgers. Im very disappointed.

Food was great and fries were hot and fish sandwich but the burger was cold and buns and needs improvement on the burgers heat but was dressed well though and overall it was still good and friendly service indeed 👍💯

My order was incorrect and the wait was too long. I also saw employees that wore the same gloves to take money, assemble orders, and hand them to the customers . The shake was good, but I was given a spoon for it instead of a straw.

The absolutely worst restaurant in Hattiesburg …Mississippi and ithe United States. Rude staff, food is not edible. I shared my experience with District Manager “Mike” … and he told me to “go F myself” classy bunch you got there Checkers.

Both burgers were made wrong (receipt showed correctly). We were charged for a large slush but given a small. They forgot the funnel fries (they were on receipt though). We parked and went to window to get funnel fries. When we finally got them 5 minutes later, there were only 6 fries in the bag and they had just a sprinkle of powdered sugar on them. Staff seemed like they didn't want to be there from the beginning and almost ignored us when we asked for the missing item.

I know it's fast food but please be mindful that people pay their hard earned money for at least a decent burger and fries without the hassle of having to pick hair from it. Went here late night Saturday because everything else had lines too long and ordered for myself and my wife. My wife's food had hair on her Burger. My food was hairless but very unappetizing as it was very cold and soggy.

I'm a USM college student, so the restaurant is directly across the road from campus. They put up a sign on the walk up window that states "no walk up orders due to being short staffed " keep in mind that I walked to checkers. So I went to the drive thru window since there wasn't a car insight. The young lady told me, we are not doing walk up orders. I was confused because there are no cars in line. She could have just been real honest and said you have to be in a vehicle to be serviced. Money is money, no matter if you are not in a automobile to get your order. Im still confused

I couldn't even get service one person working. They took an order let that one move up, then didn't take another until the other car pd and left. When we finally got to order we left.wouldnt have left star but wouldn't post with out placing something

The place wasn't busy at all. The staff was quick and the food was freshly fried.

Me and my co-workers ordered DoorDash from here and almost everything except 3 things was left out. We had a total of 9 items. I called door dash and everything and then I called checkers. The woman was extremely rude and accused me of lying. And while I was explaining what was in my bag she hung up on me. So checkers do yourself a favor and hire better employees, the way I was brushed off was unbelievable. NEVER will I order from there again.

Like advertised, amazing fries. A must try fast-food join. Revisiting since two years, never fails to cater to my taste buds

The people didn't have gloves on . We watched them give us old fries . One car in front kept falling asleep. Overall worst experience. Too bad I won't be back ... I always loved checkers.

This place is good but only took cash on this day. Every time I go to Checkers there is always some sort of issue. Hopefully one day I will be able to give them a perfect review. Finger crossed 🤞
