We stayed in the Hattiesburg Comfort Inn last year about this time. We returned since we had a pleasant stay. However, the Feb. 20th stay was not pleasant. The hallways were dirty, bed had either not been changed or it had not been washed and sanitized. I smelled odors in the linens. I saw dried food stuck to the wall near the bed. Couch and ottomans were dingy. All linens in bathroom had stains or dingy. The complementary breakfast was worse than a gas station breakfast.

Well the rooms are being somewhat updated while you're here. Went down for breakfast if you want to microwave a cheap sausage biscuit for yourself this is the place. They use that excuse we're not serving nothing but lite breakfast they won't tell you at checkin. Stay next door at baymont they have hot breakfast of bacon sausage cathead biscuits and gravy won't make the mistake of staying here again.

Rooms were moldy smelling and had a rundown feel to them. The indoor pool is so small we couldn't even fit our party into it. We rented a total of 5 rooms. Breakfast was, decent and employees were nice. Overall a disappointment.

Rooms claim to be non smoking but they smelled like someone smoked 43 packs 10 minutes before we got there. Bed had hair between the comforter and the sheets. Worst experience I've ever had from a comfort suites. Took the lose and went to the Hilton next door.

My room was pretty clean and the bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Staff at the desk and maintenance man were all very friendly. Very decently priced for area, located close to just about anywhere you'd want to eat at. And conveniently located near the interstate as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars across the board was the rooms could use a little updating / refresher. Just some paint and new caulk would do wonders. My bathtub faucet constantly dripped, not a huge deal. If you're looking for a affordable place to stay and not going to be in your room all that much, I'd recommend staying here. Now if you're going to be spending a lot of timeb in your room, you might want to look into a little more upscale place. I just need a place to rest while in town on business, so it worked out great for me. All the staff was very friendly and that itself means a lot.

Great little hotel. Very clean. Under construction right now for renovations but it doesn't take away from the guest experience. The room was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff kept up well with the breakfast crowd. Will definitely stay again if I'm in Hattiesburg.

So the furniture in the room really needs cleaned. Our little sectional in our room had stains and food crumbs on it. The door to the room looked like it had been kicked in before. The bottom was damaged and would not open nor close properly. The pool closes at 8 pm. That was the whole purpose of booking this room was it has indoor pool, however was disappointed after arriving and seeing it was closing in 30 minutes of our arrival. The hotel had signs saying excuse hotel as it's being remodeled. However, there were parts of the hotel that were not being remodeled that could be cleaned like elevators.

Under construction, the furniture looked like the painters stood on it to paint the walls. The foot prints were still there. Air conditioning didn't seem to do much tool a long time to cool the room down. Room was clean other though.

I dont normally leave reviews, good or bad, but the room was terrible. Peeling paint on the walls, a window that looks to have had a leak "fixed" multiple times and a fold out mattress with at least 4 stains that were not small and did not have linens on it. The clerk gave us a refund after we showed him the pictures and said he would let the manager know. I dont have a lot of faith in that happening. Absolutely do not recommend.

They really deserve -5 but it isn't possible. Paid for a suite, ac was broken. No maintenance person to check the appliance. Just an uneducated desk clerk named Jessica who stated "it works" because it would turn on (not cold) then turn off in 3 minutes. She stated in our room that she would give a full refund then lied and refused so at 10 pm I am having to pack up my 20 month old to find a new hotel bc I refused to stay with him in a hot room. Her solution was to blow my baby with a horrifically dirty fan she brought into our room. I can't even describe the stupidity that this place employs. Would rather sleep in a car. Stains all over the floor, disgusting couch and refrigerator in desperate need of being defrosted. Wouldn't even keep his milk cold. I suppose she thinks that "works" as well. I am still trying to work up the chain to receive my refund. Horrid place.

Just a heads up if you google a hotel even though you click the hotel website BECAREFUL you are more than likely on a third party website. So when I thought I was calling Comfort Suites Hattiesburg I was calling a third party company. So I was charged when I booked the room $203 and then a much lower price $126 when I checked in. They were remodeling the room next to me jamming out and I could not focus on my school work plus the paint fumes were horrible. I went downstairs to complain about the double charges and the noise and was greeted by the most pleasurable person named Jessica that I have ever met, insert sarcasm. She told me I had booked through a third party and could not help me with the rate. I have never been talked to so rudely. They moved me to a room on the third floor. I go upstairs and kid you not they are scraping the popcorn off the ceiling in front of the room I was supposed to be going to, literally on a ladder in front of the door. So here I go again back downstairs and get moved to a room on the first floor. See photos of the room and bathroom. I just gave up at this point. Internet was awful and actually quit working in the middle of a test I was taking, thank God my test saved and let me back in! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!

It’s in a good location and the staff seemed great, but the structural integrity of the building is questionable. My room was dusty. The patio wood is rotted out, signs of water damage can be seen all throughout the building, a big section of my roof is about an inch lower than the rest, for some reason, and I found a roach wing in my coffee. Very unsatisfactory visit.

Pros: Great location. Near other hotels you should consider… Cons: 🪳🪳🪳 Also, they are undergoing major renovations...like legit gutted rooms, etc around you on the 2nd floor. I guess they need the profit so they keep business open....however, the rooms although seem updated, are lacking....the air conditioner doesn't blow hard enough and we had it on the lowest setting of 60°. There was roach in the shower the next morning. I do not recommend staying here….

I was burned and n the hand by the faulty room coffee pot which had left over water in it. I was using the microwave to reheat my dinner. The microwave wouldn’t work so I reset the outlet; after about 5 seconds the coffee pot; which I didn’t turn on; started spitting out hot water! It burned my hand. Not breaking the skin but minor discoloration, pain, and swelling. I reported it to the front desk. I was offered to go to care now and given a bag to put some ice in to make an ice pack. I wanted to file and incident report but they said they would do it. No one took down my name or anything. I don’t think this is proper protocol. I wasn’t checked on I had to go down and remind them to talk to the manager. After I spoke with the manager she didn’t offer any help on completing an incident report or anything. Also the hotel had water leaking from the ceiling pretty heavily when it rained. It was a huge safety hazard. I was traveling with elderly parents. Also there was no bed linen for the let out sofa and the mattress was very dirty so we all piled into the bed. Very unpleasant experience to say the least. I will be contacting corporate about this incident.

I got some amazing sleep here and I didn't even make it to the bed. I just sat down on the couch and it was over. The rooms are extremely conducive to sleep and the staff was so considerate. Can't wait to go back.

First the bedding and bathroom was clean. The rooms are rundown. Rusted metal lamps, new shower rods installed and shower stall and wall where it was installed showing cracks and unpainted surfaces, walls in room looked like water or something had run down the walls. Sofa cushions had tears and sticky old varnish I think on partial wall near couch. Service was polite and kind. The place could use some love. Very convenient just off the highway.

Stayed here last month, the room was dirty it had hair in the tub and on the sheets. The comforter had hair on it and stains. Got cleaner and a fresh set of sheets from the desk clerk. Desk clerk said he would let the manager know but nothing was done. Would not recommend this place unless you don't mind sleeping on the sheets someone else has slept on. Forget the indoor pool it was "under maintenance".

This is one of the best hotels I've been to lately. The front desk staff was soo friendly and just down to earth. The room was extremely spacious and worth it. The pool on the other hand had soo much chlorine it was burning and the pool needed to be cleaned completely. The breakfast was delicious as well.

Room was large and very comfortable. Staff was nice. Breakfast was not quite as good as other places we have stayed, but still nice to have available. Only negative thing I have to say is we did not use the pool due to it looking quite cloudy or dirty. Otherwise would definitely stay again for a future soccer tournament.

The room was clean and the front attendant was nice However the housekeeper came into my room around 9am without knocking or announcing herself.

I was burned by the coffee pot I’m the room that malfunctioned. I was told hey would let management know. I had to go back down to tell the manger myself because I was never notified. There shouldn’t have been water left in the pot. This situation could’ve been worse. My hand was swollen, pained, and slightly discolored. I was not offered the opportunity to file a complaint or an incident report. They said they would do it for me. But didn’t take any information. Very unpleasant experience to say the least.
