This place is ridiculous! I only brought my three yr old here because this was the only clinic open in town late Saturday night. I was not asked a single question about my sons health history nor our chief complaint for the office visit. Random data was entered into their computer system under his chart name. I watched the medical assistant do this. The medical assistant nor the doctor introduced themselves. I still do not know their names. The (white old man) doctor is a joke!!!!! I had to talk over the doctor because he kept repeating "redness in left ear and tonsillitis." I asked the doctor to listen to my child (my reason of coming was strictly because I was worried with his wheezing and breaths per minute and stomach contractions.) Thank God, that I work in the medical field and have nurse friends who advised me better information than anyone in that facility. Ypur better off sucking it up or going to the ER. I would much rather have a four hour weight with actual kindness and good quality care than a short time weight with low quality care. I have never in my life had an experience like this. The staff needs to be replaced.

I have been using Rural Health since I was a child. My regular provider Dr. Diamond was not there when I went in Friday for an ear/sinus infection. I wound up seeing Dr. Kersten. Very bad experience from the get go. After waiting for almost an hour and a half in the waiting room(with folks getting tired of waiting deciding to leave) I finally get called to go to the back. I'm taken to an exam room where I'm left waiting on the Dr after a covid/flu test for almost another hour. Test results take only 15 minutes. Mean while I hear the Dr and nurse in the hall way talking and deciding on weather or not I'd been tested. I heard the nurse tell the Dr. 3 times I was negative on both tests. Dr. Kersten finally comes in the room, and hurriedly asks me what I was there for and looks at my ear without putting the the tip that goes in your ear on the otoscope. Looks at my throat and sends me on my way with a prescription for a z-pac and Zertec all while walking out the door joking around with the nurse. I understand this is a high volume clinic but to rush your patients through like cattle at a livestock auction is very inhumane and unprofessional. I've finished all my meds and they didn't do anything. I've tried to message through Iris and calling for the last 3 days with no success. The nurse said he's out and will be back tomorrow 2 days in a row. I've tried to call the administrator to make a formal complaint and am currently awaiting her to call me back. My psychologist is more through than this so-called Dr.!!!

This facility NEED to be PERMANENTLY shut down. I went here last night, I got signed in. I was seated in waiting area for about 30 to 45 minutes. Only 1 person was ahead of me. I finally get called to the back. The employee get my weight and ask for my height. She then take me to a room to get my blood pressure and pulse. She ask why im there and I stated to get birth control pills. She instructed me to go pee in a cup for a pregnancy test. I did that and went back to the door by the weight scale area because I didn't know where to go after I did the urine test. I stood in the hallway for about 20 minutes because I didn't know where to go next. The 2 employees saw me standing there while they were ducking in and out of a room gossiping. The older lady finally asked me why was I standing there? I said the other lady told me to do a urine test but she didn't tell me where to go afterwards. She went a had words with the lady and instructed me to go to a nearby room. Doctor come in about 20 minutes later and ask what I'm there for. I said birth control pills, he said "this paperwork says you're sick" I said that paperwork is a lie because I informed that black lady I'm here for birth control pills. He said "I don't know anything about prescribing birth control pills therefore I'm gonna prescribe you the ones my daughter take". He asked me which pharmacy and I informed him and he said we're done. He didn't tell me what he prescribed nor anything 🤦🏽‍♀️. I get to the pharmacy and find out I was prescribed Juleber but was given Enskyce which has made me extremely nauseated. Don't EVER go to this facility because it's operated by incompetent clowns. I noticed that the owner only comments on positive postings which his/her actions prove that she dont give a hoot about paying consumers with legitimate complaints. She/he is a clown in charge of running that circus and they definitely have the unprofessionalism honest🙄. Avoid this place like the plague.

My son was still having symptoms and vomiting. So I went back to the clinic to see if he could get seen again or get an excuse from school because I did not want to send him if he was still sick. So I made it to the clinic at 3:40 pm. The receptionist at the front told me that the doctor said she will right a excuse just wait. So me and my sick baby sat there waiting. I kept going to the window checking back and each time the receptionist would say she is getting it ready. At 5:29pm the receptionist finally gave me a excuse for my sick baby. By the way the doctor on duty name was Courtney Moss (CFNP). Poor service on this day. As long as we waited she could have went ahead and seen him. It was very unprofessional and seemed as if they did not care about a autistic child being sick. People are so inconsiderate. 🥲

I had a very bad experience with minor care clinic services. Charlie fnp lied to me. when I called him back to try and speak with him so I can understand better why he made the decision that he did. He never call me back. I feel that I should email the CEO because no health care provider Should ignore a patients needs and not give you the care that you deserve.. It's not worth it.. find somewhere else to go ! Plz trust me...you will not get the.care you need. CHARLIE Np does not care about you and does not have any epathy and could care less about your needs!!! Being a nurse im disgusted and feel badly for the clients. I wish wellness ang great care,!

All urgent care/after hours clinics in Hattiesburg stop taking patients an hour before they officially close, and this one's no exception. We saw 3 people turned away after 8 PM while we were waiting. But they charge based on income and they were able to diagnose and prescribe for our problem. They might have saved my wife's arm that night. Thank goodness we weren't 20 minutes later.

I was very pleased with my experience. My visit was quick but thorough and I could not have asked for better care or treatment from the staff beginning with reception and following through the check out process. My prescriptions were called in to the pharmacy in a timely manner and the nurse even called me back to let me know they were ready at Walgreens.

I arrived before opening & waited for over an hour to be called to the back. I seen Dr Kersten after waiting 30 more minutes in the room & he never examined me for what I originally came for. He called in meds (which were not even ready at the pharmacy) and asked me how long I wanted to be off from work. I did not come for a drs excuse, I came because I was sick. Would not recommend to anyone.

I was turned away from the clinic because the doctor was doing charts instead of seeing patients. I am never going to try there again. Either be open to serve people or lock the door.

Awesome and quick experience. I needed a Covid test and didn’t have insurance, they helped me get what I needed at a low cost. Thank you so much

I have always been treated professionally and in a caring, personable manner. The provider I have seen most often is Dr. Kirsten. Dr.Kirsten and all the other providers try to get me well. Dr. Kirsten always looks at my medicine list to make sure things are in line. He listens and answers my questions. I believe all the staff: nurses. receptionists, nurse practitioners care about me and treating my ailments from spider bites, strep throat, earaches, and good old sinus problems and allergies etc; Dr. K. even gave me a discount pharmacy card. I go there when my regular provider is booked up or closed. I recommend. I

My 18 month old is sick. We got here at 8:32 and I was told the dr was walking out the door. What kind of dr leaves before the clinic is closed. I understand it’s a tough career but when you accepted the position at this place of employment you accepted the hours of operations as well.

Be ware of the counterproductive medical practices of the individuals that work in this health care facility. I only went to this clinic today because I had a very sore throat with the symptoms of strep throat. Also because it was the only one nearby that was open and closest to my location and I wanted to be seen as soon as possible because I had a 14 hour drive to get home. The nurse nor the doctor are in tuned with accurately recognizing common health symptoms. I had a sore throat and it was painful to swallow, the back of the top of my mouth was red and inflamed with specs of white. However, both of them denied me having strep throat but wanted to give me a steroid shot. I refused the shot and they both looked to be upset. The nurse yelled at the doctor, “this shot is wasted, she said she doesn’t want this shot.” He replied back “it’s not wasted.” They both tried to persuade me that I had additional symptoms than what I was actually experiencing in order for me to take the steroid shot. I requested only the prescription for the antibiotic for strep and then I left. This is definitely not a medical facility that I would ever go to again and I would not encourage anyone to go there that are serious about their health.

Update your hours online if you're going to be closed for certain holidays. Showed up on Columbus Day (indigenous peoples day) with absolutely no online warning that they would be closed. Thanks for being the only clinic in the hub city area that celebrates the extermination of the amerindians.
