Our recent office trip to Lodge left us with mixed feelings. While the location and surroundings were undeniably beautiful, our overall experience was marred by some disappointing aspects. Before our arrival, we had reserved the entire lodge and meticulously discussed all expenses and the expected arrival time. Unfortunately, upon reaching the lodge one hour earlier than the agreed time, we were met with a rude reception. The woman insisted that we keep silent as there was another couple staying at the lodge, claiming they were doing us a favor by accommodating us. This unwelcoming greeting was quite disheartening, considering the lodge was entirely reserved for our group. To our surprise, when we checked out on the final day, we were presented with an unexpected extra charge of 20000 for our early arrival. This additional charge was not communicated to us beforehand, leading to an unpleasant ending to our trip. While we appreciated the beautiful views and the lodge's fantastic location, we feel it is essential for visitors to be cautious and ensure that all expenses and charges are clearly communicated before arrival. Such transparency would prevent any misunderstandings and ensure a smoother and more enjoyable experience for all guests.

This is a hidden gem! The stunning scenery of Mawussakale Reservoir was breathtaking. The place was clean, calm, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was delicious, and there were fun games like table tennis, carom, and chess. Perfect for group stays. Highly recommend this must-visit hotel!

Our stay was amazing with a beautiful view of the Adams Peak and great hospitality from the couple who were taking care of the place. The food was delicious and was very flexible with the menu. We will definitely visit there again.

For dinner, we ordered noodles, sandwiches, soup, and French fries. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were exceptional, and we were left wondering how they managed to create such delectable dishes. The following morning, we enjoyed a Western breakfast that was equally delightful. Don't miss out on their tea; it's a treat in itself. We highly recommend opting for the full board package to savor all their delicious offerings. Ms. Ishara, a member of the hotel staff, deserves special praise for her attentiveness and assistance. She provided us with valuable guidance on visiting Gartmore Falls safely and even arranged three-wheelers for our trip. Her recommendations were spot on, and we realized how challenging it would have been to reach the falls with our own vehicle. Thanks to her help, we had a fantastic day without exhaustion. The hotel's location is also a major plus point. It's conveniently situated close to town, with numerous small food markets nearby for your convenience. Additionally, being next to the BOC bank makes it easy to access cash if needed. One of the highlights of Pekoe Lodge is the breathtaking view from the common balcony. You can feast your eyes on the majestic mountains and even catch a glimpse of Sri Padaya. Enjoying evening tea with this view is an experience in itself – truly awe-inspiring. The hotel also offers a variety of board games, including carom, table tennis, card games, and chess. We would love to see a pool table added to the mix, as it would be a fantastic addition to the entertainment options. Pekoe Lodge boasts spacious common areas for relaxation, and the rooms are clean and well-maintained. We booked three rooms, and each was comfortable and inviting. In conclusion, Pekoe Lodge in Maskeliya offers a remarkable experience. With its exceptional food, friendly staff, convenient location, and captivating views, it's the perfect choice for a memorable stay. I stayed on last weekend with my family. Receptionist Girl warmly Welcome us and do everything in very friendly manner. The food are delicious and tasty (Thanks the Chef) We highly recommended this hotel located at Maskeliya. Great location close to Maskeliya Police station and next to BOC. Front hotel Car park is more spacious for more vehicle. Rooms are clean and big enough with balcony. Facing to Mousakelle Reservoir. Bathroom good with hot water. Very tasty English and Local breakfast. Sri Padaya , Maussakale and Carserly reservoirs Gartmor and Moray waterfalls are very close. Highly recommend this Hotel and definitely we are staying next time too

Had a wonderful stay at pekoe lodge. Situated just by the road, so no difficulty in reaching the place. Amazing view. View of Sripada above Mausakele reservoir is out of this world. Great food. Clean and neat rooms and interesting interior. And caretaker David is the best.

One of the best villas that I have ever stayed in. The couple who is taking care of the place is doing an amazing job. The food is very delicious. The rooms are clean and spacious. And they are super friendly and supportive. The view is amazing and the environment is very quiet. We will definitely visit there again and they are highly recommended.

Convenient place located in Maskeliya town. Beautiful view facing to Maskeliya reservoir and Adam's Peak. Rooms are spacious, nicely kept and beautifully decorated. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Foods are delicious and nicely served. Great place to enjoy with family and friends. Highly recommended.

Great view of the Maussakele lake. The staff were friendly and professional. Great food, clean rooms. They have separate parking space as well.
