Exceptional views. Fabulous spaces. Spacious bedrooms. Very very friendly staff. The bathrooms are wonderful , clean and spacious. Child friendly but you may have to keep and eye. Got plenty of activities. They offer massage services and bicycle rentals. Also got a shallow water kayaking option as well. Got enough vehicle parking space. Also, please make sure to bring your essential grocery items as there are no grocery store or place to get essentials nearby.

Nice location, But no any luxury amenities at all when compared with Room Rates. Foods are too ordinary and they have Budgeted Set Menu. Not satisfied with their set menu at all and so we had to order some dishes out of the Menu. Nothing there to experience in this resort rather lake view. Funny thing was their all menu listed by $ price and had to pay converting to LKR for the extra Food and Beverages

We stayed in this resort for two nights and the tranquil ambiance and breathtaking views of Castlereagh Reservoir made it a truly amazing experience. Rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, food was delicious with a tempting à la carte menu. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness were noteworthy, making it a highly recommended destination for a memorable getaway.

Love every moment of our stay! Super comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms, delicious foods and not to forget their amazing service! Don’t forget to engage in either one of the activities they offer at their site. We did kayaking with their friendly, well experienced instructor Mr. Mahinda and we enjoyed every bit of it. And big shout out to our butler Raj, who was always there to help and guide us whenever we needed. It was an amazing stay and we wish we could stay bit longer.

Booked a deluxe room, but when were there we got the bungalow, one of the most disgusting rooms I've ever stayed in, the bathroom was gross🤢 it's nothing like thr pictures probably as close to a public restroom. nothing like pictures, full of geckos, bad place to have stayed on my birthday, Undeniably the view is beautiful and breathtaking, food was yum, and Raju's service is excellent, although we feel its too much for him to handle alone, with so many guests requests and bringing each of their plates/food.

Had an amazing 2 night stay. The view of the place is amazing! Both Raju, and Justin served us and they were absolute gems ! They are very attentive and caring and spot on with everything! We did the cycle ride to the church and around the lake. Totally recommended. The food and the presentation was amazing! But we felt it was slightly over priced. The rooms need some renovation and maybe better up keeping! Overall amazing! Definitely will return!

One of the finest hotels I have visited in Sri Lanka. The location and ambiance are truly remarkable, situated adjacent to the Castlereigh Reservoir. The atmosphere is incredibly serene and peaceful. Moreover, the full board pricing is notably lower when compared to nearby hotels in proximity to the Castlereigh Reservoir. The opportunity to partake in kayaking on the reservoir adds a magnificent experience. It's worth mentioning that the manager displayed a high level of professionalism, and Butler Raj's exceptional assistance was incredibly valuable. Our stay was immensely enjoyable, and we are already making plans to return with our families.

Very nice rooms overlooking the lake. The place was managed well and kept up. The staff were all top notch. Great value for us Americans. They even assigned us a butler named Raju who looked after our needs and explained some of Sri Lanka's history. Stay was a 10/10

We stayed at the Farm Resort for one night and wish we could stay longer! The views from the rooms are breathtaking and the peace and serenity of the surroundings were perfect after a bustling Ella! We had drinks by the fire 🔥 (they do not serve alcohol so we brought our own beers) and dinner overlooking the reservoir! The food was very good. We went kayaking in the morning which was fun! Raju made our stay particularly enjoyable !

It is a hidden paradise just 10 minutes away from Hatton town. Can be reached with any kind of vehicle easily. We were warmly welcomed with a traditional mottu by a friendly security guard in the main entrance. The location is really amazing with calm and quite environment. In the month of January the weather is perfect. From morning to evening it was sunny and at night it was cold but not rainy. We stayed in the upper floor of the middle chalet and the view was breath taking from there. The room was nice with all amenities except for hotel slippers. Wi-Fi, Netflix and all the necessary things were available in the room. Even though there were few options for food, they were really delicious. Can give 10/10. The staff was very professional and supportive. The manger was also a very nice person. He allowed us for early check in and late checkout. Raju the butler was fantastic. Gave us 10/10 service. There are loads of things to do in the day time other than staying at the amazing chalet. My first ever kayaking experience in this place was fantastic. We kayaked in the morning and the life guard there was very professional and there is nothing to worry about the safety. He takes great pictures while kayaking. And we had great walks within the tea estates and small islands in the Castleway reservoir. Mountain bikes are available in the premises to explore the place. Bikes are in good conditions with helmets. Any how our stay was really amazing in this paradise. Can recommend for anyone.

This beautiful property is located in the Dikoya area facing the scenic Castlereagh reservoir. When you arrive at this place you will get a special traditional welcome. Then you can park the vehicle and walk to the room. As we noticed there are 6 rooms and a bungalow available at this property. The climate here is unpredictable and could change from sunny weather to rainy within a couple of hours. All rooms are facing the reservoir. Rooms were equipped with all essential items and it was spacious. Rooms are designed in a way that you can wake-up in the morning and enjoy a cup of tea while seeing the beautiful sight. The restaurant is located at the center of the resort. They would arrange you breakfast outdoors and dinner inside the restaurant. However you could ask for in-room dining as the surroundings might be cold during the night. We tried some combinations of food and all were tasty. Surprisingly you will also find seafood options as well! However some dishes were a bit spicy. Couple of activities available on-site. We have tried kayaking at the Castlereagh reservoir, and better to book a day before to have an early slot. That was our first kayaking experience and special thanks goes to the person in-charge there. Finally we want to thank the Farm Resort staff, including our butler Justin for their kind service during our stay.

You can’t beat the view of Castlereigh reservoir from this resort. We had a nice peaceful time, enjoying the views kayaking and hanging out in our balcony. Food was top notch, and the attentive service from Raju was wonderful. Definitely a hidden gem!

We savoured every moment spent here. The view was breathtakingly beautiful. Besides, their service was very impressive. Especially I must mention that the manager was friendly and attentive to his guests' needs and comfort. Apart from that, Raj who was the butler did his job really well and his service is highly appreciated. Last but not least, the chef made our stay delicious ♥️

We had an excellent experience at The Farm Resorts. The staff, especially our butler Raj, were very courteous, friendly, and helpful. Raj went out of his way to make our stay a great experience, and we really appreciated his attention to detail. Raj was always available to help us with anything we needed. He helped us with our luggage, gave us recommendations for activities. He made our experience all the more memorable. The food was excellent, and the choices were great. We especially enjoyed the fresh, locally-grown produce. The cleanliness of the resort was also up to standards. Overall, we had a very memorable experience at The Farm Resorts. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family, and we are looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful location and the staff were very courteous. They made us feel right at home. Our vacation was like home away from home. Not to mention the wonderful scenery with the lake and the surrounding mountains.

We loved our stay at The Farm Resorts. Our butler Raju really looked after us ! Delicious food, relaxing spot. We ate all meals at the resort and they organised a tuk tuk for us to do the Adams Peak hike (which I only recommend if you’re fit to climb 5500 stairs before sunrise)

The check-in was super fast, as there was no paperwork to be done when we arrived. From the moment we were welcomed by the security, our personal butler Justin showed us to our room. The view was breaktaking as the room was directly facing the Castlereagh Reservoir, which made our in-room dining experience amazing. Kudos to Justin, our personal butler, who was efficient and all smiles on every aspect of our stay.

One of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. The location was stunning. We put aside a day of sight seeing just so we could relax in our beautiful room overlooking the water. And the service from Raj was amazing. Thank you.

Beautiful resort. Excellent service from staff. Tasty food! Special thanks to our butler Justine and the team for going above our expectations. Only one suggestion to the hotel, please put a cover on the room side where the birds nests are as we can see things dropping out to the room and the balcony.

We are just back from an absolutely amazing holiday. The place is very beautiful overlooking the lake. Plenty of spots outside to enjoy the outdoors. Rooms are spacious in the bungalow and fabulous service by the staff. Especially Justin who was most cooperative with our Vegetarian meal options. Def a place to go back to. 👌

We absolutely loved our three-day stay here. The view from our chalet was breathtaking and the beautiful Castlereagh reservoir can be seen from every corner of this property. The soft rustling of the leaves of the turpentine trees around the reservoir was so therapeutic and don’t forget to go for a walk when you’re here. The food here was so delicious and the service we received was impeccable. Our butler Raju was great! He was very observant and super helpful and he made our stay even more special. I’d highly recommend this place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

It’s a quiet place. Tranquility at its best. Great food and the food is served outside at request. Kayaking and cycling available at extra cost. Recommend for those who love calm and quiet atmosphere.

Had an amazing two nights in a triple room, and as the one on the extra bed absolutely no complaints whatsoever! The room was cosy, well stocked, and the bathroom amenities were standard resort style. Special thanks to Justin for his excellent customer service-- he's an amazing butler who went out of his way at every opportunity to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breathtaking view from our chalet overlooking the mountains and the reservoir is unparalleled. There are multiple viewpoints to sit and take it all in but the benches near Chalet 1 were my favourite. Each meal was a set menu with multiple courses but with a variety of options each day and they were extremely accommodating of our dietary restrictions and adjusted accordingly each time. My compliments to the Executive Chef, who introduced himself to us on our first night-- the food was superb. All the staff gave us a warm welcome, on our second day we went kayaking after lunch along with a guide. I highly recommend this activity as someone who was apprehensive at first, it is definitely worth the view and experience! I will definitely be recommending this property to my friends and family because I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Thank you so much Farm Resorts!

Great Experience! We stayed for two nights at the Farm Resorts, and it was awesome. Raju is the perfect host you can ask for. Very friendly and hospitable. Food was great too. They have a variety of food we can choose from. We tried many of them, and we have no complaints! We loved it. Do try Kayaking as well. It was a great experience. The guide, Mahinda will guide you and also takes good photos. Overall, considering the price and the service we received, this is a great place to visit and relax.

It is very beautiful and a breathtaking place. When it comes to scenery this is one of the best locations around the Hatton. The food is also amazing they give the right quantities and don't overdo it, very simple. These days we have to preserve food so they don't try to waste it. The staff is very helpful specially butler Raju who is very friendly and did a great job during our two days stay.

We stayed at the Farm for 2 nights and it was very nice, the view was breathtaking ! and the room clean & well decorated. We were really feeling like into the nature. The breakfast was amazing but the food for the diner at the hotel restaurant was not special, wait was long and food was overpriced. The staff was very kind and Justin was reactive and helped us with everything.

A good place to relax and revive. If a family is travelling, their bungalow is recommended. If not, go for a chalet since they are very private and intimate spaces. Food is good and they will customise their options based on the availability. Must try their kayaking experience.

Had a memorable stay at the Farm Resorts. The place is very beautiful and very relaxing, especially the outdoor/ garden areas.. there is seating in every corner of the garden to sit and enjoy the beautiful sceneries. The food was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed every meal. 👌 The chalet was pretty standard, spacious, comfortable and open to the reservoir. The staff here is very friendly and courteous. A special thank you for Justin for the wonderful service. Kayaking is currently not available which is sad. Hope they would start it soon. Overall its a nice place for a relaxing stay. Will definitely visit again.
