There are two falls almost next to each other: ST Claire and Devon Falls. Our recommendation is to start with St Claire with a quick photo stop and save your energy for Devon Falls. When you arrive to the falls car park go down on the steps of the temple and keep carry on going down on the thousand steps... the forest walk is easy, brings you to an almost direct view of Devon Falls. Peaceful walk for about 45 minutes down and back Definitely worth visiting 😍😍

In this view point you can get the best picture of the falls. The Waterfall is 97 metres high and ranked 19th highest in the Island. Situated 6 km west of Talawakele, Nuwara Eliya District on A7 highway.

It is possible to have complete viev of Devons falls from here. However the view is not the closest. A binocular is a handy tool for this. It is convenient to park the vehicle and see the waterfall. The local government is charging Rs. 100 per vehicle. There are a few local people selling food, fruits and snacks here.

The view point gives a full view of the waterfall but not a closeup. Usually crowded but ample parking space.
