Best place to stay in Maskeliya,food is awesome and the view

If you are looking for a place to eat in Maskeliya, this is the spot. The place is run by a nice lady and the prices are affordable. They even have a balcony which you can access for a nice view of Sri Pada.

We have spent 3 nights and 4 days there and Rooms are super spacious and very clean and the hot water facility in a Maskeliya breezy weather is a priceless. and guess what ? The View is super amazing and you can feel the calmness in early morning with some bird sounds with the lake and Adams Peak (Sri Padasthanaya) view. To be honest the hospitality is on another level and how they treat me and my wife is very appreciable. Reshan Uncle (Stay Owner) and his wife is very helpful and very kind + if you wanna roam around the maskeliya town and for visit the gartmore and moray falls they can arrange a tuk tuk for a very reasonable rate. and the food is delicious in every bite with an amazing taste. Must try their food if you're not staying in their rest and thanks me later for this ;) THE BEST RESTHOUSE IN THE MAKELIYA AND WE WILL VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR OTHERS TOO <3

We have good lunch here, very tasty rice and curry, owner and his family was nice and kind. They also give us some tips about around places and Adam's peak.They have good price. We can fully recommend this place.

One and only place for food in maskeliya

The food here is fantastic and the price is very reasonable! The family who run the restaurant are all very polite, provide great service and enjoy a good chat. Ate here twice, and both times I left happy and full!

We enjoyed our stay at Chanuka Rest, food they provided us was very tasty. The family who maintain this hotel was very friendly. My only suggestion is change the old sofa and fit a tv on living area.

This place has a stunning view. Rooms are available. Also the owners are really helpful. Unfortunately the fried rice we had wasn't that good. It wasn't even basmati and clearly over priced. I bet the rice and curry options are better.

I went here just about at closing time and I had a great time here having a tasty egg roti with chicken curry. Highly recommended.

Bed Room, Sitting aria with Balcony, Modern Clean Toilet with hot water shower , View is amazing, you can see Adam’s Peak & Maussakele Lake We had Rice & Curry for all 3 meals, it’s very tasty Food was made by Mrs. Greshan & her daughter Owner Mr.Greshan & his Family are very kind & helpful We will definitely going next time One thing I had mention don’t judge this place from outside entrance is very average but The rooms & view are best in Maskeliya
