A great place for a day out. It has an amazing lake view just on the right side from the entrance. You can also admire the hauz khas fort though it's not whole as it may used to be but it still holds the beauty, the complex has a small lawn where you can sit on the grassland or maybe it's for the kids to play. I would suggest to visit this place in the winters and stay there till the evening to enjoy the beautiful sunset and the lake view.

It was a nice place to hangout with your friends. Historic vibes with pleasant atmosphere. Enjoying amd minding your own business makes the place more diverse. Like you can explore the history behind that place, sit aside, roam around, play around and enjoy the adventures of your own. Food items are nit allowed inside the boundaries, tickets are easy to access through scanning and creating your tickets. Its will hardly take a minute to generate tour ticket in the spot or you can purchase advance tickets too as per your convenience. Hope this information will help you guys. Have a good time.

Amazing piece of architecture, overlooking the lake and the park. The fort needs ticket entry which can be purchased online/offline both. Perfect escapade from the Delhi hassle in the afternoon and evening. It wasn't very crowded when I went there on a weekday afternoon. There's the shopping and pub street nearby, so overall a festive vibe all around.

I love Hauz Khas Fort! Here's a review with three pros and cons: Pros: 1. Historical Charm: Hauz Khas Fort is steeped in history and provides a captivating glimpse into Delhi's past. The ancient ruins, especially the reservoir, offer a unique setting for exploration and photography. 2. Scenic Location: The fort is situated in a picturesque location within Hauz Khas Village, overlooking a serene lake. The view is especially breathtaking during sunsets, making it a popular spot for romantic evenings. 3. Cultural Hub: Hauz Khas Village surrounding the fort is a vibrant cultural hub with numerous art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants. It offers a blend of historical and contemporary experiences. Cons: 1. Maintenance Issues: The fort's maintenance has been inconsistent, with some areas showing signs of neglect. Graffiti and litter can be seen in certain parts, detracting from its historical significance. 2. Crowded at Times: Due to its popularity, Hauz Khas Fort can get crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. This can limit the peaceful experience one might expect at a historical site. 3. Limited Historical Information: The site lacks comprehensive signage or information boards, which can make it challenging for visitors to fully understand its historical context and significance without prior research. Overall, Hauz Khas Fort is a fascinating place with a blend of history and modernity, but it could benefit from better maintenance and improved visitor information.

It's is really good but there should be strict checking. You can find how some stupid people have damaged Walls of fort by engraving their partner and theirs stupid name with rocks on walls of the fort. If you ignore those engraved names, it is indeed a very beautiful fort.

The main attraction of Hauz Khas is the Hauz Khas Village, which is a trendy and popular destination for locals and tourists alike. It is a hub of art galleries, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and bars. The village retains its old-world charm with narrow lanes and heritage buildings.Hauz Khas Village is known for its vibrant nightlife with a wide range of bars and restaurants catering to different tastes. From traditional Indian cuisine to international flavors, visitors can find a variety of dining options. The village comes alive in the evenings, especially on weekends, attracting both locals and tourists.

Hauz Khas fort was built by Mughal ruler Alauddin Khilji in the 14th century. This majestic fort features a mosque, Firoz Shah tomb, Madarsa and a royal tank, all that ruins of the medieval era can be seen here. Hauz khas fort complex offers a magnificent view of water tank (reservoir) to supply water to local inhabitants. A beautiful Hanuman temple is also there on the way to Fort. Fort, lush green lawn and lake attract many selfie lovers. Good place to spend quality time with dear ones. Four wheel parking may be an issue. Nearest metro stations are the Green Park and Hauz Khas. Fort entry time is 10am to 7pm. Remain closed on Sundays. Ticket price is Rs 20 for Indian Rs.200 for foreigners thru online payment. Worth visiting !!!

Hauz Khas Fort is a historical gem nestled in the heart of South Delhi. This medieval fort turned urban park offers a unique blend of history, nature, and culture. The picturesque lake, surrounded by lush greenery, provides a serene escape from the bustling city. As you explore the fort's ancient ruins, you'll be transported back in time. The architecture and intricate carvings tell stories of a bygone era. The view from the top of the fort is especially captivating, offering panoramic vistas of the surrounding area. What makes Hauz Khas Fort even more charming is its location within the Hauz Khas Village, known for its trendy cafes, boutiques, and art galleries. It's a perfect spot for history enthusiasts, photographers, and anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the midst of Delhi's urban chaos. Just be sure to visit during the daytime, as the fort closes before nightfall.

One of my favourite places since childhood, the entry is just 15Rs and the place is well maintained. Please note you can't buy anything inside so carry your eatables and hydration. Please ensure that you don't litter the place, there are enough halfwits already.

If you are visiting New Delhi, you should visit the Hauz Khas fort. It's beautiful, the view of sun setting from the fort is gorgeous. The reservoir and the fountains in it add more beauty to the area. There is a mini zoo and a park near the fort. You can buy tickets at the entrance or you can book online.

Nice place for weekend refreshments. You can chill in vibe with "pretty" scenes here . People can be seen clinging to each other , but my heart aches that there are such morons who have done damages to the monuments. There are a lot of Hooka Bars, resturants & lounge for enjoyment. You can go in the Hauj Khas fort(entry fee ₹20, ticket available in offline & online)to click photos with the lake. Great place for college students, bachelors & couples. You can go to the nearby Park (Deer park) , Deers & Peacocks lives here peacefully. Auto(₹150 for four people, Bargain as your pocket suits) & metro is available for public transport.

What a wonderful place to be at. If you're in Delhi, this is a MUST visit place, especially during the sunset when you can get a clear view of the setting sun amidst the Hauz Khas lake down below. It is just stunning! It won't take you more than 40 odd minutes to go around the fort, take pictures at leisure. So, overall, a definitive visit!

First of all , you can book the ticket on your mobile instead of waiting in queue and it costs 10 bucks lessser and way faster. It is a beautiful place spoilt by Idiots. It aches my heart to see, what they have done to a monument. Its beautiful during sunsets but there are too many love birds around. You might find people clinging to each other in dark corners of the fort, its advisable to just turn back.

Beautiful and very scenic fort. You should go here on a rainy day and enjoy the beauty this place holds. It provides peace and a sense of calmness. Loved the old mughal architecture But it has a lot of couples The very paradise for couples You can easily spend 2 hours just sitting and enjoying. This can be a really nice picnic spot The entry fee is rs20 online and rs25 offline Really pretty and aesthetic It's in contrast with tye party culture of hauz khas. You can go here to free your mind and create new ideas.

If you’re a tourist, hopping around Hauz Khas in the day then give this place a visit specially if you’re here around sunset. I do not recommend going to Hauz Khas just to do this but if you’re around it’s a nice place to sit, look at the sunset or feed the squirrels.

The ancient reservoir, flanked by lush greenery, is a serene escape from the city's hustle. The adjacent Hauz Khas Village offers a tapestry of quirky cafes, boutiques, and art galleries, perfect for exploration. One of the few clean places in Delhi. Unfortunately there is not much left of the fort. It is a nice place for relaxing but not that interesting as there is not much preserved. It is sad that you cannot go the the park from the historical site and that foreigners have to pay 10x more.

Good place for couples and singles. When you are coming with family remember that you will see various couples doing stuff. This site wall 🧱 is carved with the lovebirds. You can see them when you go in the Cave. Precautions for couples - Transgender roam here and there to collect money from you guys, so beware of it. Their target audience is couples only. I had seen a couple giving him 500 Rs, generous couple. Just don't do stuff which you do in Pvt space, because Once guard knows of such activities then you are in great trouble. Hope it helps 🙏

Historical place in Delhi. I visited this place on November 2019. This is an Archaeological Site. Nearest metro station is Hauz Khas Metro station. You will need to buy ticket to enter this place because it is maintained by Archaeological Survey of India. Nice place for visiting. (All the photos are clicked on 2019)

Overrate place. Big turn off is People act like they are hippies but you can clearly make out they are not 😅. The cafes are good and cozy but people with fakeness is a big turn off. I enjoyed the sunset though near the lake.
